yes. lower settings to medium and use dlss. If you dont know where your pc stands when it comes to performance, I highly suggest you do some research. watch a couple YT videos with ppl running a similar setup, maybe a few articles or reddit posts.

I think it might be specifically an intel issue for you. intel 13th/14th gen has serious problems. and the 14700k is on that list of problematic chips too.

Another thing to take into account is if you're gaming on something like a 2070, chances are you'd only be gaming at 1080p, in which case you're cpu bound and you arent really taxing your gpu.

on your other system I'd assume you're gaming at higher resolutions and settings (1440p/4k, RT enabled, higher textures etc.) all of that would naturally tax your gpu more than anything else. And forgetting just taxing your gpu, a lot of those settings are known to be problematic, especially RT.

then there very well might not be a fix. especially if its only with certain graphics cards. its kind of hit and miss. a fix for one graphics card may start problems for players that haven't hade any. but that is just me speculating. have yopu checked your RAM and storage space? (mods also break the game and are against rules and the agreement we all made when we purchased the game.)

Runs fine on my 4080. significantly better than reports I've heard from other users on this server. Most reports on this server weren't from 4000 series gpus from what I've seen, rather other bugs or ppl who aren't very tech savvy running the game at too high settings on pcs that arent equipped for it.

My 3070 has no issues and ive tried every fix

Turning off hardware accelerated GPU fixed it for ab 3 days and then it started again

The game is very cpu heavy in alot of areas, hogsmeade in particular and some places in the castle. I've seen more crashes in hogsmeade related to some of my cpu cores being hammered than anything else. Mostly RT related from what I've seen.

you could be hitting a vram and/or cpu limit. you might even have settings enabled which that system isnt equipped for.

This is probably why you're crashing. not because the PC has a 40 series gpu in it. The 40 series issue mostly affected ppl running windows 11 and HAGS, which has since been fixed in the latest patch.

may wanna also check your framerate in game too. some ppl have fixed their crashing issues by limiting their framerate to maybe half their refresh rate or even 60fps. if u dont know how to do that, look into it. I also suggest you use some type of monitoring software like msi afterburner so you know what's doing what while in-game.

Cuz if I know correctly Xbox one x and ps5 have sleep mode thing where if the console is not active for sometime then it automatically goes to sleep mode.

Try restarting the console and that might help maybe.

I can help more on PC side in comparison to consoles so I might be incorrect regarding the console issue.
