fingers bloody crossed it runs smoother now. cause my rig is great, never had an issue with running games at all in 2k maxed out usually. however, this has taken some unorthodox remedies to get it to a playable state. so im hoping i can revert them changes and have a smoother experience. as my rig surpasses the reccomended specs

Some drivers were updated, game was recompiled which requires to replace most of the existing files in the game (that's why it's 53.3gb to download), in reality the game size was reduced by 1.3 GB

yeah, i turned ray tracing off and it improved alot. the game does need optimised, that much is fact. it seems to be hitting randomly to random folk. its a mixed bag. some people with lesser cards are running it great, some people with better are running it worse. and then theres those unaffected.

i did everything from the most obvious and basic. e.g. varied graphical settings, from high to low, changed resolution down to 1080p. changed the dlss options to balanced, to performance, to ultra performance etc. it didnt change the crashing.

but the moment i turned off scheduling, it fixed it

because it can Couse script triggering issues to launch quests cuz mods like to mess with the default game scripts in order to run mod and pushes back the game motor to trigger the quests( i have an example i was running around with a usable elder wand mod, and i got bugged in the first trial cuz i couldn't watch the pensive memory cuz of the mode that messes with scripts so i uninstalled the mod and boom it worked.)

yeah it does i used one mod only and it messed with the first trial pensive cinematic trigger i was stuck and removing all of the mods actually helped me to go through kind of stupid but mods are sadly "developed" by using scripts that are pushes back the main game scripted database codes and can cause issues with quests related scripts by default.

okay the only thing that i can think of out of the blue is to completely uninstall the game including the folder in the app data folder too, be sure to make a back up save for your save game files just in case if cloud safe is not suitable for you. than re install the game, and see how's it going.

It took some minutes for me, but the Quest does appear even if you're on spring, the time doesn't matter as long as you meet the requirements and are in winter/past winter
