say, a student born with magic is usually meant to go to an academy to study how to control it (Ilvermony, Hogwarts, Uagadou) since that’s how it usually goes.

the schools, as known from the lore, only prepare them for their societal materials — like, there aren’t advanced math classes, sciences, etc., and instead ones like astrology, DADA, Potions, Flying, you name it — which’s not a good prep in terms of regular work.

so, what IF they don’t want to go to an academy, can’t be home-schooled, and would rather pursue a specific no-maj career path that required a good high-school set up in the other class materials (engineer, architect, whatever you can name).

since there wasn’t anything said about such cases, would that be permitted?

Oh yea, I know that part. It seems to me that hogwarts legacy does have a lot of bugs even though they worked on it. I’ve experienced bugs, not similar but where the screen just freeze or game crashes.

It could be a sever side issue, I doubt it’s your ps4. The consoles are still good 2024, I’m not sure what you could do. But I don’t remember, can you verify game files on a ps4?

Release the trigger used to access the spells.

So ZR or whatever it's called on switch, after you hold that down and select your spell keep it held for however long you want then release the trigger.

Hmm not that I know of. But it might have happened because your pc is not meeting the requirements. The first time I tried playing it, it was also all Buggy and the faces were not recognizable. The graphics was horrible. But after getting a gaming pc I could finally play it at the highest quality. So it might be because of that

Same. I'm currently doing a restart on Gryiffindor run and I'd forgotten how gorgeous the game is, makes you feel like you're actually in Hogwarts yourself. One of the games I can lose myself into for hours on end

I personally wouldn't go that far as once you finish the story (which I thought wasn't very interesting) there is nothing to do apart from side quests which are mostly fetch quests and all the collectibles. The Merlin Trials are absolute torture to go through with the same version of the Merlin Trial being repeated again and again. Considering there are 100+ of these it's safe to say that the trials should be more varied and unique or completely gone in the sequel. The final boss is also very underwhelming. Hogwarts should have way more secrets as well. It would have been nice to have bookcases and pictures that are really entrances to hidden places or shortcuts. Obviously it's pretty amazing considering that this is Portkey and Avalanches first big game like this, but I expect to see this stuff in the sequel, especially a new game + and extra stuff to give the game more replayability.

• defence against the dark arts tower goes up 7 floors
• grand staircase
• trophy room ontop of grand staircase

And you can reach the grand staircase by

• the only other hallway of the two available in the clocktower/Gryffindor tower

• Slytherin/dungeon access through again the only other hallway you can go down

And everything is accessible via grand staircase besides the library / herbology area or as miss Weasley says their kings crossing area

Oh and the grand staircase connects to the potions area via a dungeon hallway my mistake

Just because some may find it easy to navigate, doesn't mean that it's not confusing. I've played over 90 hours of the game now and I still can't really remember how to get to places in Hogwarts. You'll find an explanation outside the Arithmancy classroom which is located up on the rafters above Central Hall. But basically each animal represents a number from 0 to 9. There are two simple mathematical equations on the door, with the solution in the middle of each one; the goal is to figure out the missing numbers the single/double question marks symbolise, match them to the animals, and then flip the corresponding wall dice to them.
