I highly recommend playing this game as it has been one of my favorite gaming experiences. The game is focused on solo play and does not include any PvP battles. Although the enemies may seem repetitive at times, it's important to note that this is the first version of the game, so perfection isn't guaranteed. I advise taking your time and not rushing through the game as, in my opinion, the main story is relatively short, so I suggest completing all side quests and challenges before the final main quest. Overall, this game is exceptional and is definitely worth playing!

protego is a life saver. As far as attack spells go, it depends on if the ones your fighting have a shield or not, other wise its all about blocking and redirecting spells while using the stupify from shielding to stun one of them.

I've managed to beat things 5 levels higher than me by being able to dodge and block effectivly

all I can suggest is to close the game , usually these things happen when you are on a flying mount and speeding fast and dismount nearby a building and a enemy (which if you do can cause floo powder to disable )

If you refused to learn any of the three Unforgivable Curses and change your mind later, there is a chance to unlock them after completing the main quest line. You can speak to Sebastian in the Undercroft (if he’s around) and ask him to teach you.

Yes, definitely. At pre launch there were many sudden crashes, and a lot of memory leaks. Those still exists, but are much less common. Overall you do need quite some VRAM.

The performance got better as well but any card with less than 12GB of VRAM will encounter frame drops in both Hogwarts and Hogsmeade.

UE isnt the problem, its the development cycle. the thing about game devs, they arent software devs. so any functions that they need to define can create issues because they can create memory leaks and such for themselves. UE as an engine is perfectly fine.

Very much annoyed, ever since I got new PC, I manage to play 5-10 minutes approx before game just suddenly crashes. Somehow I managed to play longer few weeks ago, but same issue is back again. Warner Bros have not fixed it even I sent multiple tickets and bug reports over month ago. All graphics are on Ultra with FPS 150-200.

No other game has this issue. My previous ticket didn't get enough votes in order to be investigated. Anyone knows what to do?

whats weird is that the max level is 40 and the talent points when you get to level 40 still have some more left over to get.

like there's talents you need to acquire but are impossible to get now because you need to level up / get more talent points

Exactly! There's 38 talents total, so u should get 38 talent points to spend! Instead u only get 35 max bc the tp system doesn't start until MC is level 5. This annoys me greatly!

I feel like they are saving this on purpose for future dlc purposes , not that I think it's actually the case. Like I can see them with like a dlc at a time adding several level add ons on to the character to make to so that all the talent points are spent / acquired

I'm about to start the butterfly quest, and there's apparently a bug in it that involves the last conjuration chest. But I'm confused-do I NOT follow the Butterflies in the quest and pick a different one, or do I complete the quest as it is in order to get the final chest?

Pretty sure the bug involves players losing the abillity to access a chest because they follow the wrong butterfly by wondering away from the mission and finding a different one, your supposed to follow the one thats presented to you

I encountered that too but then I got to know i need to follow a specific pathway

Like i mounted on a mountable area then placed the mark on that second trial area

And it showed me the pathway in form of dots like it does on the map

And then I followed that and there we go

Damn and also u should unlock all three levels of alohomora before starting to explore the world for collection chests and breaking into houses into other places around the map

Because sometimes u will find level 3 lock and u will then get stuck and later on we forget where it was so
