Though modern OSs tend to allow you to do a sort of "refresh" option. It stashes all your documents, photos, etc. away then clears everything. Then it retrieves them and puts them back after the OS is reinstalled.

Note: All your programs/applications will be deleted. Also, it's still a last resort option. I'd recommend troubleshooting the driver itself before resorting to reinstalling the OS.

Also, it's interesting that the base price of A$1908 is pretty similar to the US base priceof $1199. Only like US$57 more which can be chalked up to shipping costs.

Also. VAT puts a massive burden on the economy compared to a sales tax. Idk how GST works. With VAT, tax is collected at every stage of production. So if the product doesn't sell, the business owner is still stuck paying tax. With a sales tax, if the product doesn't sell, the government just doesn't get anything.

hogwarts was only published by warner 🙂 not developed, but pinging developers is not really necessary either, there is a place to report bugs and things like this 🙂 but it is sad that this is happening, hopefully it is fixed for you soon

Because xbox = Microsoft so it is natural that xbox already has that capability, PS5 isn’t really noted for having that ability. Most people who have consoles just play on controller anyway

So something weird just happened. I discovered a hedge maze, did it, but because my gear slots were all full, I couldn't claim the chest. But when I destroyed a gear piece so I COULD claim it, the game wouldn't let me claim the chest anymore, and any save outside of me going nearly all the way back to a few quests prior will remedy the situation, because all my saves right now have me clearing that and the chest gone

The game will crash on its own after a short while of being stuck on 1% of preparing shaders. Feeling really annoyed as I was just about to finish the game and now I cannot play at all. All my bug reports have been ignored on Portkey games.

Thank f my game finally runs buttery smooth after the latest update. It used to be a slideshow on a 3070 with a ryzen 5800x3D. Cutscenes would drop to 6 fps. Still uses too much memory imo, but I finally got a solid framerate. Some random crashes though.

well, darn. Looks like my Slytherin save file is unsaveable. The last manual save has also collections misaligned with map info when it comes to field pages.
I guess i’ll have my ravenclaw save do the collectors edition achievement xD Its a new save game so at least i get to check and save after every page.

What I learned from this release is the devs dont give a damn about the PC mess. They will get to it when they get to it and wont acknowledged the issues either. Sad, but true. The company is far more busy celebrating every sale on twitter than giving a damn for those that fell for it.

i have 16gb ram on mine. and only a 1080ti for graphics card. It ran fine before the latest patch. The new patch really destroyed it. Going to have to lower graphics to hopefully play it and recollect the bugged out pages that made my last save game unusable.

That area glitches out the RTX, because everytime the clock swing, it chances the directional lighting, and its tweaking out, causes performance loss

Potentially unpopular opinion but - The inventory management system in this game is horrible

Like I can understand having limited inventory slots in MMO's where they force you to pay to have extended inventory space etc. But in HL it is just too annoying.

It's not realistic to carry a ton of stuff admittedly, but that's where game enjoyment takes precedence over realism. Just look at Skyrim for example

Lore-wise you should be able to carry anything you want: Capacious extremis 😉
Not the capacity is a problem, but also usability. You need to view details of one piece to know how much space is taken already. Then you need to go back to check different one/change it/transmog etc
Also - selling one by one is an horror ... probably that's why we cannot sell potions/ingredients

There is no point in stocking all the gear at all. Sell anything that is not a highest rank piece of gear. There is no logical reason to collect gear in this game because once you collect a gear item in this game it unlocks the skin. you can change any piece of gears skin cosmetically. If your highest ranked gloves, hat, robe is not something you like cosmetically you can change it and still have that piece of gear erquipped you didn't like and take advantage of the higher rank. The very fact they even have merlin trials to expand the inventory is a joke. I never needed it.

Actually increased inventory is useful ... at the beginning when you want to sell everything. After that (when you swim in cash) you can just destroy anything not yellow to just keep that for selling 🙂

Just got my game guide today it's not what I was expecting at all there's no chest location guide or merlin trials guide I bought the guide for breath of the wild and that was worth it it just goes through each of the quests and gives a summary most if the time it doesn't even give you a recommended spell rotation for boss fights it didn't even mention the eyeball chests or door puzzles don't waste your money it's not worth it

Map genie was cool thanks the guide didn't even have a proper game map LOL anyway I'll stop ranting I just wanted to warn others in case anyone else was thinking of buying it I have my breath of the wild one packed away but it was $100 worth every cent I should've clocked on at the price point which is low for a game guide i paid $100 for my breath of the wild one and that came with a map like map genie has but full poster size I accidentally lit it on fire play breath of the wild during a cyclone I had a candle on the table because the power went out and wasn't paying attention where i put it and put it on top of the candle 😂

I need help on something, the game kept crashing and is not starting properly. I got a message appears saying to update the graphics card drivers, I have a nvidia geforce gtx, so I updated the drivers to version 531.29 and now Hogwarts Legacy doesn't start, when i start the game it appears that i kept falling through map and i can't move or walk except that i can look around by using the mouse. i restarted the pc and still nothing changed. even before updating the driver i thought that i have to update it so it could be fixed. I don’t know if the problem is from the game it is or cuz of the graphics card update :(( i really need a solution . thank you ❤️

Honestly. Jk is already filthy rich it doesn’t make much of a difference to her but it does hurt the people who helped make them game. I’m lgbt and honestly the game itself is very inclusive with its characters and people need to be able to separate the art from the artist because Jk isn’t affected regardless.

nobody ever heard of silvervale before they started drama about this game, and then there was like little to no evidence of the accusations, and their response of calling said alleged harassers 'freaks' only lead to attacks on unjustified parties

I mean, no need for it to be. Do a few things you come across on the map, do a quest or explore a bandit camp, do a few merlin trials and find some random chests.

If you just do all quests and then 50 merlin trials in a row, it will feel like a chore.
