def turn ray tracing either off or to medium at most. other than that I'm playing with everything on high, but I have the FPS capped manually at 59. It honestly gives so much better performance with it capped like that. Let me ask my hubby real quick how he capped it but I think that's what made the biggest impact for me.

@wise oracle so I looked it up and apparently it has to do with constantly updating drivers in PC's, so they just compile them or load them every time to keep it fresh and crash free as new updates come out on your PC. like.. Driver updates for your graphics cards and stuff

I had really bad drops early on, regardless of quality settings. Low and Ultra also looked the same for me until I moved the install location to my m.2 drive. Running everything at ultra, ray tracing on at ultra, and it's silky smooth at 1080p

So even after update no matter what settings or fixes I try I can't manage a steady 60 fps 1080P in hogwarts or any other town. I have an MSI 12GB 3060 and a Ryzen 5 3600, 16gb 3200Mhz RAM which I've seen people recommend having more but my ram never maxes out while playing. & website says only 16 is recommended. I've tried the stutter mod fixes, exploit protection fix, absolutely everything I've found via online and nothing helps. From low-ultra quality I get nearly the same performance cpu and gpu usage never go above 70% fps capped or not, 3 different monitors HDR or without. Different Hz and every fix I tried I've reversed the actions of previous fix where needed. What's wrong is it my system or the game?

alright heres my rant before work, - yeah i think capitalism is basically taking it's hold on the gaming industry. it happens. You got your devs who make the product, but a select few who fund it I.e. "the board" or "top investors", whatever, demanding the games be made and released for profit as soon as humanely possible, which creates issues for optimization because PC is usually an afterthought since console gaming is more popular and the main money makers for games. (if you take xbox vs sony vs steam sales, yeah come on)
So yeah, you can have an i9 and a 3070 like i do but it doesn't matter if the devs of the game you're trying to load don't optimize it correctly.
Which is why i dont think im going to be getting a huge gaming pc again until i notice this trend die down a bit

Usually when you zoom out all of the way it shows everything, you can hover over the little houses and it will tell you how many chests, demiguise statues, and whatever else is there
