Nah, there's a main story quest that unlocks a new zone with sebastian.

But it has like, merlin trials, and about 10-15 chests, I went through the entire thing, then abandoned the quest to go pickup some potions.
When I returned to the quest it reset the Merlin trial, and literally every single chest was reset with new loot.

So then I just kept abandoning until I had my collection log completed.

It's really a game play decision. The games is designed for replayability, and if they make a 5-10 question quiz, people will complain of screwing it up and needing a walkthrough to get the right house. Make is simple and the game pace moves on and people should figure out what you get. The wand creation aspect was interesting however.

Warner Brothers and Sony have a 1 year exclusive agreement and there is a level/dungeon in Hogsmeade that is exclusive to the Sony PlayStation for a year. On Feb 10, 2024, the rest of the platforms will be able to access/play that level.

Literally taken me 2 hours with Slytherin and Hufflepuff. Ended both runs at Level 15. I ignored side quests but collected every field page I came across and did the Assignment quests for the spells. Definitely worth it imo

use some pkmn nuzlock kind of rules.
exemples
-no potions
-if u die, delete character and restart (or cuz of long intro, restart from safe file in common room right after house selection)
-only use gear from chest, but only able to open 1 chest per region/ castle area (u could make gold chests not count if thats to hard)
-no use of shops with exeption to get the seeds and stuff for RoR
-no use of talent points (u could make an exeption for extra spell slots, as 1 bar doesnt make it harder, just more annoying)

My old laptop from 2018 actually runs Hogwarts Legacy surprisingly well. It's a 1080p laptop with an RTX 2070 and i7-8750H and 16GB of RAM. Only in Hogsmeade does my FPS completely tank and the game will stutter like crazy. Everywhere else it's very playable. The CPU is pretty trash so I did have to turn down all settings that rely on the CPU. But the GPU holds up surprisingly well. Of course I prefer playing Hogwarts Legacy on my desktop PC where I can play the game in 4k 144FPS, but still.

Your FPS without frame generation turned on is irrelevant. Frame generation has an impact on performance. It's a double edged sword. If you turn it on, your real FPS goes down, but because of the fake frames inserted, your perceived FPS goes up.

i think if the game had great graphics... then you can go down in resolution a bit...... example RDR 2 looks gorgeous in 720p compared to some games in 1080p......

but size of monitor is also important if you play on 40+ inch TV... then it becomes blurry... but if you play on 24 inch... then it looks okayish

This game has one major issue that really gets on my nerves. I REALLY hope they change it in a patch.

Uhh, my laptop's basically the best specs a laptop can have, but it's massively overkill, and was incredibly expensive

MSI GT77HX Titan, i9-13980HX, RTX 4090 Mobile, 64 GB DDR5 @ 4000 Mhz, 2 TB Samsung 980 Pro

I usually get over 100 fps at 4K, you don't need a laptop this high end to play any game.
