I have to say guys, i have 12 hours into this game (getting in what I can around work )😂 and they did such a fantastic job! It really feels like the wizarding world from the books.

Nothing in the game has been a dissapointment so far and the gameplay, combat and exploration has been so fun and smooth.

I thoroughly enjoy this game - I'm having an outstanding time. It's one of the better RPGs I've played in a while, especially in a setting I've enjoyed for the last 20 years. I kinda grew up with this IP, so being able to walk around the castle and take in the sights is bringing back childhood memories, to an extent.

On the outside, I couldn't care about whatever JKR does with her money (she doesn't pay my bills), just the same as I don't care what you do with your money. I also don't care what either of you do in your own time, in your own house, etc etc. It's not any of my business.

Except there is an evolution to the growth of things and some of those tropes are not relevant as the narrative shifted. Some depictions of goblins may have been rather pointed and focused on antisemitism but as they were used in other media e.g. Tabletop games, handfuls of Fantasy literature, video games, mythology, folklore, etc... they narrative shifted.

Just because something was used negatively at one time does not mean that it will always be that way or that any use of it is intended as a negative thing.

Goblins were described and depicted like that decades before Rowling. So if those activists have problems with how goblins are depicted - they should cancel fantasy books and mythos that existed before. I was guesstimating on a source of revenue income for the simple reason;

Avalanche has to make their money to pay their employees. WB has to make their money for publishing & distributing the game.

$60/game, depending on studio size, I guarantee she isn't getting a lot per sale of the game. Again, she gets a majority of her money from the parks (not to mention books mainly, and movies too), and they're constantly building and adding new Harry Potter rides to these parks - yet there's nobody standing outside protesting - hmmmm, I wonder why. Game has constantly fps drops and for 10 seconds it limits 20 fps around and then back to normal fps. Especially after closing menu, entering cutscenes and transaction areas cause this issues. Normally have playable fps but this drops decreasing game enjoyments

Hogwarts Legacy Standard Edition / Full Release Launch Times
On Xbox Series X and PS5, Hogwarts Legacy launches for all players at midnight local time in your region on 2/10/23. The moment Thursday clicks over to Friday, in other words, you’ll be able to hop into the game.
