Usually unpacking and downloading goes together, but with preload you only do the downloading and unpacking is the installing part. Downloading deoends on your internetspeed, installing on your ssd/cpu

It doesn’t matter where you got it from don’t worry, it’s highly likely it’s the same issue that most early access has with steam and that’s that they don’t release their games automatically for early access, their games are released automatically for the official release meaning someone has to manually release it for early access, the same issue happened with F1 22

if you're on steam, after unpacking, fully closing steam and restarting fixed it for me. if its still not letting you upack, full restarting steam fixes that as well
