Ah ish. PC is vastly different from console from what I've heard. If you get it on sale, definitely.

As for servers, it really depends.

Just was on a community server that - overall - was great for what I wanted. But the host/admin was incredibly toxic to the community and it was just one fight after another from him alone. He also would make drastic decisions that impacted the players without mentioning it to anyone ahead of time (for example, he decided since a type of car in the game was having a spawn issue - most likely created himself by a coding error - that he would just delete all of those vehicles all together....with 0 notice to the community. So if you're driving away from base as he resets the server - you're stranded. If you've been storing things in there - all of that's gone....etc etc).

Then you have the issue of trolls if you're on like a public PVE server.

It all really depends. People roleplay as well, so checking rules and trying to figure out how you want to play is important.

Community is different than official as well - official has no modded loot and is kill or be killed lol

I'm actually watching a video on modding the files rn, because I'm most likely about to open a server and see what it's like from the other end.

My dad's a programmer of 40+ years now, so honestly will probably have him oversee my changes lol

Hopefully get a server that, at the very least, my friends and I can enjoy without much issue

We do want this server to remain English speaking. However, if someone does come in speaking another language - as will happen frequently the closer we get to release - it may just be because they can't speak English. If this happens, please do not just tell them to speak English.

You can DM us, or suggest that this is a primarily speaking server, but generally we want everyone to be included regardless of language. We would usually suggest taking a conversation in a different language to DMs instead of shutting it down completely

Yeah I don't understand why people don't try to at least communicate with someone who might not speak English. I'll literally use a captioning device to get the text from twitch streamers from other countries (you can set the caption language to pick up what they're saying, and then use translate to auto translate what's being said) and then use Google translate to put my comment into their language because the entire comment section isn't in English (Google chrome translates the comments of others for me).

Would definitely rather at least attempt to participate with the rest of the world the best I can, instead of expecting the rest of the world to cater to me. (I've truly tried learning other languages, and I can semi-speak a few; but I'm nowhere near close to fluent in anything else, so using translators is the closest thing I can do right now as I continue to learn languages)

My dreams are always weird too. I've always wanted to experience a lucid dream though.

I had a vivid dream once. I was in my home I grew up in. The doors were all locked. For whatever reason I didn't think of busting through the windows. Outside the windows were a very enormous amount of light, like, just pitch white brightness.

I turn to see my dad, he stood in the living room glancing at me. I shrugged and gestured as if to question why he was just standing there glaring at me with a straight face. His expression neither smiling or frowning, just a blank expression but looking directly at me. After a awkward whole minute, me, standing in the dining room, I had turned and walked past a part of a wall that sat like a pillar, acting as a divider between the living room and the dining room. Next to the dining room was the front entrance door. I stood in front of it, there, I faced my father once again. This time he was pointing towards the wall in the living room. Because of the lack of audio, I made a low humming sort of noise to break the silence. I could feel the weight of my body, standing, when I am very certain my body in reality is laying down on my bed. But in the dream, I'm wide awake, standing.

While trying to make sense of my situation, my father turned and walked through the wall he had been pointing at. I followed. He would of ended up in the bathroom. Connected was a small hallway, which led to two rooms and two different storage closet doors. One to my old room which would now be my grandmother's room, and another which was my dad's old room, now my room.

My dad, the expressionless figure from earlier walked through the mirror of the bathroom leading to my old room. I followed. As I entered my old room however, I bolted up from my sleep sweating and breathing & heavy.

I had that dream when I was 17. He died before that when I was just 13 few months from being 14.

I tell you this now in my early 30s.

I should write a book.

I got so many interesting weird dreams I've had mostly from my childhood.

Many claim it is impossible to remember being a baby.

It's possible.

I remember vividly as if it were just yesterday.

All I have to do is think, and it replays like a home video.

But if I'm distracted for whatever reason, then I'll not be able to remember at that moment.

I'm mildly autistic by the way. Not that as if that's relevant.

Dreams are weird. You can travel to other locations too. But I have not learned to master that.

I plan to soon write a mini horror story.

Whenever I feel ready.

My mind can't always decide on when.

I've had one when I was just a kid, but the description of it is beyond me as it was so long ago. I just know I've had it.

I can hardly remember a lot of them, unless tied to family members I'm very close to emotionally.

I still have memories as a baby. Not a whole lot, but some have stayed. Again because of my moments with family.

That and the constant interactions I've had.

The more you're with someone. The more likely you won't ever dare forget them.
