I don't think this will happen. They didn't make the online portion of RDR2 after they released the single player. They were both developed in parallel and then as release got closer they probably focused more on the single player, then after released spent some time to finish off the multiplayer. Which is really key, since if they game isn't made to support multiplayer, it is incredibly tough to rewrite it to support online. And since the devs are really saying that this game will not have online, then I expect it to not get it or be made with online in mind. If they wanted to do online, they would probably make a whole new game.

I've been studying the language for a few years and I wanted to improve and finally say that I've gained fluency by living here for a couple of years.
I got a job teaching English and finally made the leap. It's exciting but nerve-wracking; I still don't technically have a place to live so I've been staying with my employer's parents while we try to get through the red tape and get myself set with an apartment, insurance, and a bank account.

Luckily, my employer is helping me out a lot.

Yeah, a lot of rice fields and farmland but it's well connected by train and I can travel to Nagoya and Kyoto in about an hour so it's not like I'm completely cut-off.

There are a lot of programs that are there to help you but, I gotta admit, while they can be a great help and hold your hand through the transition, I found it grating to jump through their hoops and hope that maybe you can get in.
Ultimately, I chose to apply for jobs directly. I'm a teacher and I enjoy what I do so I applied directly to schools. I appreciated this a bit more because I felt that I had the freedom to choose and explore my prospects. I didn't want to work for a teaching company, I wanted to work for a school, y'know?

If you want a launching pad, I suggest looking at gaijin pot. They have (I think) the largest collection of jobs looking for foreigners. There are other sites that will help you with direct access but gaijin pot is a good launching point to tell you what's out there if you're interested in moving to Japan.

Hmm, yea all depends in what area (job wise), I wanna learn the language first, like go to a language school there to learn

I know that language exchange programs exist that can help you out with going to Japan for the pure intent to learn the language but I don't know too much about them; I studied Japanese before I came here.
I definitely think there is a benefit to learning Japanese while in Japan and, honestly, finding a good language school that can give me extra support is next on my list once I get all the paperwork settled and I'm a bit more relaxed in my job.

Ye I wanna learn the language and move there, I find it will be much better to learn the language while there as you're surrounded by it and have to use it

I concur and that's a big reason why I made the move. I hit a wall in my language learning capabilities living in a place where practice is limited to YouTube videos and textbooks. I must say, I'm really happy to have a language foundation to help me out. The rural areas speak 0 English (a big reason why I chose it) so coming here and already having the ability to string together a few basic sentences to get my needs across has been really helpful.

£12k sounds so expensive though!

Yea aha, and you also need to have enough money to support yourself, I do wanna go and do it it's just getting the funds which could take a bit of time, think you're also allowed to work part time on a student visa with some places
