So I saw the videos on the houses. One question went by my head. If the movies take place in the 90s-00s, I am sure Hogwarts is kind of affordable seeing its kind of simple aesthetic, the fact that it's kind of overlooked at from other schools etc. Yet on the school of Hogwarts in the 1800s (were wealthy people were scarce), the school seems like LUXURY. How the heck do so many people attend and pay the school? I'm guessing in that time there arent scholarships so how come there is so many people in england that are that wealthy?

Yeah I see what you mean with supplies being more expensive - however I think the school is funded by the ministry so students would not need to pay to attend, just to buy their own personal equipment

Or at least that is the case in most UK schools
