Oh good grief. I think jumping to the CF dev community will be useful since more experienced mod authors are there. They'd know how to summon the correct actor to the level better than me. I've managed to load all of the students in a level to check their outfits, but even I'm still learning.

In most cases this happens when the outfit is meant for the other gender. So if your character is male, the female outfits will appear with a !-icon 😉

Mods negate the achievements, so if you want all of the achievements, you'll have to finish your unmodded game.

Adding hair physics can be done if one knows how to do em. Sadly, I see many just making their own instead of fixing what exists.

To hide the jitter issue around the head in the female character’s jog animation, a hairstyle with strong hair physics really does the job well. I’m not expecting hair physics on the level of Dragon Age: Veilguard quality, but I’m still hopeful.

If uninstalling the game didn't work, then go into the hard drive itself & delete all of the game folders. Make sure everything is updated before reinstalling the game & verify the game files before starting it up.

The mods made in the kit have to go to Curseforge to cook in their cloud cooker to go into the game's mod menu, but you do not have to release the mods to the public if you don't want to. If you want to keep sad mod for just you & 4 friends, you can add them as testers & just keep it to yourself & a small group at least.

Modded items, especially outfit and appearance mods, often have specific requirements like waiting for the shop to restock, checking your Collections menu for appearances, or ensuring the mod is applied correctly to your save file.

There's a vendor restock mod that you can add that will automatically update the shop for a certain amount of gold, so if it's an outfit you're looking for, I'd get that mod.

Hey, i normally dont post but I have performance issues while playing hogwarts legacy, basic i know, but i feel like i have tried every single option but nothing seem to be well optimized. I have an rtx 3060TI with a i5-11400F @ 2.60GHz. 2560 x 1440 180 hertz monitor, I turned on the fps counter and it changes rapidly from 130 to 60 to 57 to 100. Also checked for bottleneck thats not the case I turned gsync on, off, vsync on, off, what should i do? i followed like every tutorial on youtube I even completely debloated my gpu and installed it again, everything. This is my last hope i hope anyone can help me because i just want a good visual experience but not even like 100+ fps, just stable experience. If not i might just buy a ps5 pro lmao. anyways again really hope anyone can help me 🙂

You definitely don't need FModel.
Just make sure to delete all LODs except for LOD0 and export the mesh with the armature while disabling the checkmark on "animation" and the "add leaf bone" in the armature section.

I have an i9-9900KF processor, an MSI 2070 Super, and 32 GB of RAM. But Hogwarts Legacy won't run without the FPS dropping below 60. After just a few minutes of play, the FPS drops below 60. Especially when I enter Hogwarts from the Great Garden, the FPS definitely drops. What can I do?

It might be because some mods aren't compatible with other mods, but also could be because of your load order. I recommend loading your mods in batches to narrow down which might be the one causing the issue

So whats needed is basically a real mod checker that runs a check on a mods to see if there are conflicts before placement of the mod in the list and checker determines its correct placement in the mod listing. vortex when it first started was great then they faulted by allowing access to players computers via mods for feedback and updating. it has been a few months since I've used modding programs so may of been resolved and only been installing in-game Hogwarts mods that also have conflicts.

Is there anyone who can fix the jitter issue at the head area in the female character’s jog animation? I think only a handful of people are aware of this problem. It becomes especially noticeable when the hairstyle is put into a bun or when female character animations are swapped with male character animations. I really hope someone can fix this. My friend, who develops mods for Hogwarts Legacy, suspects that there might be a missing bone in the female character’s skeleton. It would be amazing if someone could fix this using the Creator Kit.

Hey yall, I recently installed the game and modded the hell out of it like I do with a lot of games. I installed deathlysallows victorian female reshape mod and then peeks shorter skirts mod, along with a few others. the shorter skirts mod says it should be compatible with the victorian female reshape mod, but when i boot into the game none of the skirts are shortened. also, when i use certain outfits, my character completely breaks and its just the head, arms and legs that are visible. i cant find anyone else who has ran into this, id love some help

I finally got the game on sale, and spent 4 hours earlier tonight modding the game, and forcing Vortex to work... only to find out that apparently Hogwarts Legacy REFUSES to run with "unofficial mods". I wouldn't mind just using the in-game mods, except I heard they disable Achievements. I looked up trying to rollback my version, but that requires 70g of space on the C Drive, which I only have 8g to spare, since I do all my gaming on the D Drive, which has 4 terabytes available.

Is there a way to rollback without using the C Drive or enable Achievements with the in-game mods? Cause at this point, I've wasted my entire day off trying to get this game modded, and I'm thinking about just refunding the game and moving on to something else.

Nope. Gotta mod through the in-game manager. You can still earn achievements in the game, but you need to do it on an unmodded save.

That really doesn't sound like a normal problem. Either your installation is extremely corrupted or there's something extremely wrong with your computer.

So yesterday, I had a few mods that weren’t showing up in game. So I wanted to uninstall them since I didn’t know how to have them show up in game. At first, they wouldn’t uninstall. Every time I would click uninstall and that I was sure I wanted too, it wouldn’t do anything. After awhile it would say “install” at the bottom of the screen but if I clicked on the mods, they would still say “uninstall”. Finally, I found a way to fix it from someone on Reddit, which had my deleted two mod folders and two files that had to do with mods. Which would make the game think I had never used mods before and would delete and uninstall all mods. When I got back in the game, I tried loading the modded character with no mods, and it wouldn’t just load and load and load. I then tried loading my character from before I started using mods, and it would load the game perfectly fine. I tried loading the modded character with all the mods she was wearing at the time, and I would just get stuck on the loading screen for HOURS. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling, restarting my pc, turning my pc off for awhile and turning it back on, verifying the game files in steam, and more. I don’t want to have to start all over again since I had just gotten to lvl 20. So if someone has any ideas or can help, I’d be so grateful!!!

Check the localappdata folder & see if some of the mods got stuck in there. I've noticed that you gotta manually delete the mdos in order for the updates to take effect.

Guys I cant install or uninstall mods, I was trying yesterday and figured ehg ill try tomorrow and now its today and same issue.

Hey, quite few people had similar issues with the mods too.

Check for updates or try Delete all files from your mods folder to start with a clean slate. If you can launch the game, add the mods back in small batches to find the one causing the issue.

Make sure your OS is updated before start the game b/c Microsoft is bad about reserving memory when they send out an update. I've noticed that my game crashes when I have updates on my system that need to be installed. Get all the OS updates out of the way before you start the game so it's not eating the memory in the background.

Sometimes it's legitimately the OS system update that crashes it cuz HL requires a lot of memory to run, especially in Hogsmeade. Get all updates done & close all other open programs before you run HL.

It might be the bug that got reported earlier this week. However, try turning down the game's graphic settings to high or medium & see if it behaves. Sometimes the Ultra setting is too much on the system itself & causes a crash.

Does anyone know why my game keeps on crashing:((?? i have 10 mods installed through ingams mods (purely cosmetics, clothes, hair, and a couple other).. I’ve fiddled with settings, making sure not to make the game too demanding to run (even tho my pc is supposed to run it well on ultra).. my game never crashed when i used mods through Nexus, and then i had quite a few more.
Its rlly starting to get annoying.

Are there issues they have not fixes yet or what? I would also imagine the mods im using are compatible with eachother

Since the update I can’t delete and update mods I delete 1 mod folder and didn’t change anything and when I open hl my other apps got frozen and when I close hl the other apps unfrozen

I have absolutely no clue how mods work but I tried the casual NPC and the Victorian clothing mods together and the whole world feels so much cooler now!!! Hats off to whoever does this stuff

Currently, my game with mods has glitched and unloaded textures, but this only happens in the mods version. In the normal version, all textures are perfect and load normally. Could someone help me with this or let me know if it's a general bug?

As of last night, all of my mods are working in the updated version of the game. I run with less than 20 mods & always delete the mods in my mod folder if I see they have an update.

Advanced Stunning (Land 10 heavy stupifies)
• Learn to block: 
Use Protego to block an incoming enemy attack. A red or orange halo around the enemy's head signifies an attack you can block. 
• Hold down the block button: 
After blocking the attack, do not release the block button. Instead, keep holding it down. 
• Perform the heavy Stupefy: 
While still holding the block button, your character will automatically cast a "heavy" Stupefy after the block is complete. 
• Repeat 10 times: 
Continue blocking and holding the block button to land 10 heavy Stupefy spells on enemies

Master the Finisher (Perform 3 Finishers)
• Stun an enemy: 
Use a spell like Stupefy to briefly incapacitate an enemy.
• Look for the finisher prompt: 
When an enemy is sufficiently stunned, a special prompt will appear, indicating a finisher is available. 
• Perform the finisher: 
Execute the on-screen command to perform the finisher move. This is usually an Ancient Magic or another specialized move that you have unlocked. 
• Repeat 3 times: 
You need to perform the finisher move on three different enemies. You can do this in a single fight or across multiple encounters, as long as you successfully execute it each time.

Advanced Stunning

How to manually remove mods

Ok guys, i need help. I enabled the Elder Wand (Deathly Hallows Cast) mod. For some reason, it shows up for my male ravenclaw character, but not for my female Slytherin character. I don't think any of my mods are interfering bc I just tried them all on my Ravenclaw and it worked fine.

Edit: i ended up enabling my mods slowly, 5 at a time, and that worked. I guess it was too much trying to enable them all at once .
