Mods like this are possible causes, that's my guess... That or I have my inventory "full" (which should not happen because I have UnlockGearLimit and I can loot a lot of stuff, but maybe is bugged and not working properly).

Nexus mods are unauthorised and unsupported. The only mods that are approved for use in the game are the ones you can find in the native mod manager. That's probably your issue.

Everytime I try to install more than 1 mod (In-Game mod), the game just does not load the save, when I load the save or create a new save or just play, the game freezes on Loading Screen forever with background music.. that or I get black screen with background music

I have tested installing random mods, installing 2, 3, 5, 9... I only managed to make it work with 1 mod, just 1 mod (the one I have)

I'm afraid that's the only advice anyone can give you so far as the Nexus mods go. I meant in regards to getting the native mod manager to work properly.

On the latter point, the CurseForge server would probably still be your best bet since that's what provides the in-game mod library, so they might know what's going wrong with your game in that it only lets you install one mod at a time.

If mods are not updating, go into your hard drive & delete them out of the Mods folder. That will leave the system no choice but to take the update for the mods & run with them. Sometimes the game does NOT uninstall the old version & update it into the new version properly, so you have to manually delete the old versions out of the hard drive. It's a pain to do, but until that issue is fixed, we don't have much choice.

Try removing all the mods, load an UNMODDED save, then exit back out of the game entirely, reboot the game then try the modded save. That should clear the cache & refresh the memory to where it behaves.

Is there anyone who could design a mod that stops the player character from switching between random idle stances during conversations and cutscenes. Right now, they cycle between 3 different poses:

Neutral standing (arms by side)
Arms crossed
Awkward hand clasping

I personally hate the crossed arms and clasping hands poses...they feel stiff and distracting. Ideally, this mod would either:
Lock the stance to just the neutral arms-by-side position
Or completely freeze idle animations during conversations

It would massively improve immersion for people like me who find the random idle switching jarring. If anyone knows if this is possible or is interested in creating it, Iā€™d really appreciate it!

i did everything so that i can use the mods from the main menu thing, and when i copy my character save and then put 1 mod on there and try to load it, its start to load then goes to black screen and doesnt do anything, just stuck black screen. i even re verify my game files then re open my game, tried to just copy my game profile and loaded it with no mods in it, still stays black screen. my normal game save loads fine, its only when i load it from the mod menu thing

Keep in mind that if the PC has an update from Microsoft, which is at least one a week, nothing will want to work right until you take the update for the OS. Neither the game, nor my kit run right when there's a pending OS update. They either freeze up, slow down or completely shut down & return me to my home screen. Make sure your OS doesn't have a pending update before you start anything.

I'd move the mods alone to a different folder first to see if the mod save loads. If it doesn't, then the save itself may be corrupted & you'll have to copy the unmodded save to make a new modded save. If the issue is a mod, then delete the one(s) causing the problem & download a fresh version of it to see if the game behaves. Sometimes it's the save, sometimes it's a mod, but hopefully it's not both.

Any current mod that just reduces the cooldown time for abilities? Not to just completely remove cooldowns, but to slightly reduce them or atleast reduce just the unforgiveables?
I've only seen two in-game when it comes to removing the cooldowns entirely. There was one before the modding update but doesn't work anymore.

The team that approves the mods has 2 days off, so there is at least a 48 hour period where mods that need approval won't get approved until they return. Be patient, b/c time flies when you're having fun.

Hey guys!! Iā€™m sure this has been mentioned before but Iā€™ve deleted all my old mods and tried to use the in-game mod manager. All i installed was a couple of cosmetic mods (less than 10) and as soon as i try to launch a save with them i get the loading screen for a few seconds but then itā€™s just stuck on a black screen (crash).
I also started a save with all the mods uninstalled and ehen i went to choose a hairstyle there were 3 empty boxes, i chose one (thinking it may be a mod) but it immediately crashed my game. If anyone has a fix or cause it would be GREATLY appreciated ā¤ļøā¤ļø

Uninstall each mod 1 by 1 until the error no longer shows. Whatever mod you delete that clears the error is the problem mod. Back all of your mods up or have a list of your mods typed up so you can get them put back once you eliminate the corrupted mod file. The problem mod will have to be deleted from your hard drive folder in order to get a fresh install from the mod menu in-game, but it's worth it.

I had that problem b/c one of my own mods got corrupted, so I had to delete the file from the mod folder in my hard drive & do a fresh install of it. Once I got a fresh install, the game behaved & hasn't given me an issue since then. It should be the same for you & hopefully, the game save will also load back up with a fresh install of the mod you had to get rid of in the first place. If the error returns, let the mod author know so they can do a fresh update to clear the corrupted file from CF entirely.

That's why backing up the game save & mod folder is so important. Sometimes the game doesn't take an update from us authors either from the in-game mod menu when we make an update for them, so even we have to delete our mods to get a fresh, updated install of a mod we were using. I had to put a fresh update on my summer MC outfit mod b/c the file on CF itself got corrupted somewhere between cooking & processing to where nobody, not even me, the one who made it, could use it.

We want our mods to work, but sometimes the game files do get corrupted, so do let us know if a fresh install still throws the error at you. We can push a fresh update to clear the problem if we know immediately, it's just the waiting on the cooker & CF to approve the file update that we gotta patient with. ā™„

When the female character is running, there is a slight wobble in the head area. Itā€™s on a micro scale but noticeable. Even if I replace the female characterā€™s running animation with the male characterā€™s, this issue doesnā€™t go away. If I use Wemod and set the movement speed to 0.1 instead of the animation speed, the wobble disappears completelyā€”but the character keeps running in place at the same speed and pace, without actually moving forward. So it doesnā€™t really solve anything. Is there anyone who can fix the jitter/wobble on the female characterā€™s head?

Animations can be worked on in the kit since new quests can be made & dungeons as well, so it's a fixable issue. I'm not certain on how to do it since I haven't done gotten that far yet.

Modding with the kit requires over 400GB of space alone just for the kit & the kit's shaders at start is over 300K that it has to run through. The kit's installation & starting shaders require everything else on the PC to be shut down & you can't use the PC until it's done doing both. Windows MUST be updated before installing the kit & allowing those 300K shaders to compile, else it will lock up the entire machine & crash. Mine took around 8 hours from install to the 6-figure starting shaders to finish & that's with it hardwired to my router, so be ready to go do something that doesn't require the computer for about 8 hours if you want to mod with the kit. Having the kit is worth it since you can make new quests, dungeons, import custom outfits for the characters & so much more, but even it has its limits.

For new clothes, you can get the restock mod to get the vendors to rotate their stocks. My MC outfit packs are in Gladrags if installed.

A lot of the old mods have been ported over to Curseforge to gain official status. Sadly though, there are a lot of the old mods never got moved over to CF for reasons that are only known to the authors themselves. Most of those that didn't get moved to CF for official usage no longer work as of the January 2025 update when the kit came out. If one gains permission from the author of an old mod to remake it for CF, then it can be remade or if the author is willing to remake it themselves in the kit, then it can be regained as well. However, the kit does have limits to what us mod authors can make, so not every mod that was made prior to the kit's release can be remade & ported over until the kit gets more upgrades for those more elaborate mods can be ported over.

Windows OS up to date, disk drive defragmented, a full virus scan completed & all other programs shut down before starting up? Mod files go to more than one place & it's the appdata folder, which is hidden. You'll have to clear the mods from there too.

Well I just found out there is a soft level cap. I used a mod to unlock the spells to collect all the field guide pages ASAP, and it stopped leveling me after I got to 18

Upon looking into it, its because only a set number of firld guide pages are assigned to the challenge and only that gives thr xp, and as there is more pages than the challenge some dont give xp. So not really a soft cap my bad.

Hello good evening, I bought the game Hogwarts Legacy yesterday and I still don't know much about the game and the existing mods for it, I played about 8 hours or so since I bought it and I found its graphics a little ruinous even though everything was on ultra, I tested the Ultra+ mod but I thought it was a little heavy in some areas of the castle and didn't change much in terms of graphic quality, I searched for other graphic mods on the internet but then I found reshade presets which I didn't test, and from mods even then I found Ultra+, can anyone help me (Note: I don't really understand how to install mods in this game, I only know how to install them if they already come with an installer and not just the files and have to replace the game files with the files that came in the mod's .zip file)

Alohomora normally requires getting the demiguise statues, but there is a mod to unlock level 3 of it. You'll have to hunt for it, but there is one. I don't mind hunting the demiguise statues down at night since I'm a night person, but the locations of them is a pain to remember.

I had to create a new save directly from the mods menu, somehow adding and removing mods from that save just works, and it works with the exact same list of mods that didn't work when starting from the existing unmodded save.
In short: try making a new save that starts immediately with mods

Are you sure it's not simply hidden? Go into Browse Channels and make sure every box is ticked. Also make sure 'Show All Channels' is ticked/toggled when you right click the server icon in your sidebar and view the options.
