I have created a character at level 1, I have gone to the mods, I have made a copy of the character with mods, I have activated only that mod the dungeon, I have uploaded it until they have given me the mission to go to Hogsmeade and I have gone to see if the dungeon was there and it is not, Why can it be?

What level does the character have to be to be able to see the entrance to the dungeon?

Max Talent Points also broke it. I tried to load the character with it and it wouldn't load. I then removed it and it still wouldn't load, deleted all of the mods from my list, even the ones that worked, and it still wouldn't load

Most Nexus Mods pieces for HL are broken due to the update for the official mods. Some have been ported into Curseforge, but not all. I'm working on my 2 mods as it is & it takes a while to do.

Guys, don't update The Big cat broom. It causes failure to load your saved game. By that I mean you click load and it just goes back to the same screen. Removed that mod and everything else still works. I messaged the mod author on CurseForge

Well I found a work around if the game continually crashes after getting mods, Even after deleting the two hidden directories the game and doing a reinstall. it did not work.

Totally by accident another program was grabbed by my Computer security suite and managed to break my sound system with a faulty and interupted driver installation. To fix that I had to do a full factory reset on my PC. When I reinstalled Legacy it worked like a dream again.

It would be nice to see the player sent to Azkaban adddon mod, even if it just a screen that states it similar to the "Your Journey Has Ended" screen. have Aurors appear and you'll get that screen. There was one on nexus but it never worked for me.

Hi everyone!
I have a small question related to the mods of the game, and those proposed on Nexus Mods.

I've installed the Very Hard Mord and Ascendion III - FPS Hotfix mods, and in parallel to that, in the game's mod launcher, I've installed a mod that unlocks the main story quests at a slightly higher level.

However, unless I'm mistaken, my “Very Hard Mod 1” mod doesn't work, even though it's supposed to give X5 HP to enemies. I did install the Hogwarts Mod Merger that goes with it, but it doesn't seem to be working.

Is it a compatibility problem between Nexus Mods (Vortex) and the launcher included in the game?

I really need to increase the game's difficulty, this is my second game and I'd like something more challenging.

they are very meaningless anyway so if you want to clear them getting a save from some other place and cheat them is fine, some ppl get ocd by not having them

Yes, 1 Kill all the gobins in and within site of the camp, 2 Open the gates and walk in to look use revelio the carts will automatically roll away. You character will say something about them going too. Note bouth the outter and inner gates need to be open.

You can just enable and it works without doing anything if you use it from the library. If you want to test it ingame, just go to Hogsmeade and change the time to night. Vendors should leave their shops and go home.

Obviously, they can't possibly monitor every single mod in existence, so they restrict their 'official' stamp of approval to the mods that they have vetted and allowed to be posted on CurseForge, which is where the in-game mod manager searches for and installs mods from.

If you cannot find it through the in-game mod manager, you can't use it.

Remove mods one at a time til it works. Then add them back one at a time til it crashes. Then you know which is the problem.

Also consider reading the comments sections on mods on CurseForge. A lot of them will tell you which ones aren't working right now or causing problems.

To all the modders. Is it possible to either disable a huge amount of all shaders or to preload and compile them all and save them in a Cache? Because working on a mods is pretty much impossible when you have to compile 300000+ Shaders each time you switch am map or restart the pc.

For example, my first mod got approved in a few hours, Noway they could have checked everything that fast before they approved it.

The mods I have installed are the Victorian hair mod. The Victorian outfit mod, party like it’s 1890 riding attires, saved outfits nod, stand up straight mod, open common rooms, Celi hair, Socialite hat, and unlock all gear

Might be open common rooms. I read some people having trouble with that one. Your best bet it to disable mods one at a time and attempt to recreate the issue. Once the issue stops, you know thats the fouled mod.

Heyho in Need help with a Problem i´m having. The mod i´m working on doesn't work and the only thing i think could be wrong is something i did with the modmutator.

All Steps we took:
1- Create empty Mod
2- copied the two Widget Blueprint we want to modify in to the mod folder
3- Change the values of the both Widget Blueprints we wanted to change
4- Added a ModMutator to the Mod Folder
5- We used one ModMutator to override both Widget Blueprint with modded version.

There was no mistake/ error massage while uploading.
When i started the game nothing changed in game with the mod installed and activated.
So my guess is that the override in the modmutator didn't work
It there something special we need to do do when we want to override two Objects (in our case the to Widget Blueprint) in the same ModMutator?

I do have some screenshots that can help explain the Problem, but its not possible to post images in this chat post them in this chat.

Hello everyone i got a quick question. I've only used 1 mod so far in my first playthough of the game (played without until i was level 30 now im 35) and i have noticed that i dont get any achievements as i progress through the game. The 1 mod I use is the quick unlock of locks and I've been opening the game from the mods file/view. So is that the reason i cant get any achievements or because i use a mod? I'm aware its a stupid question just wanted to make sure that's all!

Hi, I'm sure what I'm trying to do is possible but I have no idea where to start and I've been at it for a day now with no luck so I'm hoping someone here can help. I'm trying to create a lighting mod using the creator kit, a simple one to start that just gets rid of the color grading/neutralizes the image as a base for Reshade. I'm very new to modding but using the creator kit I was able to track down files that are the ones I think I need- that being some stuff from the postprocessing folder and some stuff to change the color of the skylight as well. I edit them to the best of my ability but every time I upload and test nothing changes...any help is appreciated

you cant modify original files. you must use the mod mutator class and override the orignal file with the modded one. you have to make a copy of the file you want to mod to your mod folder then make changes to it.

and well there are a lot of things that can crash the creator kit.... sorry.
since i dont know what steps you did i cant really tell.

But maybe this will help you

Basic first steps for mod creation:

1. press create new Mod in the top left corner (create an empty mod) That will open a new folder. That folder is your mod folder. Everything you will change in the creator kit needs to be placed here
2. Find the Object, Blueprint, etc you want to modify/change and COPY them into you mod folder
3. Change the copied Objects, Blueprint however you need them
4. Add an modmutator and override the vanilla/normal Objects, Blueprint etc with your modifed version of them
5. Upload the mod
6. Test the mod

You can text me per dm and send some screen shots to better explain your problem, but im really not sure if im able to help you

hi, so i recently got mods to work today, so ive been playing on a modded save. i stupidly only just realized that achievements aren't earned on a modded save. i made decent progress on the modded save, but now want to return to my unmodded save. is there anyway to make my progress on the modded file copy over to the unmodded file? the only mods i used were cosmetic mods. i just dont want to have to go through the hassle again of doing 3 hours worth of quests.

it was app the skip intro one that was broke (probs not broke) but i took it off and can play

Guys, I just wanted to say... If you're having trouble with mods, disabled them one at a time until your game works properly. Then, when it does, you know the last mod disabled was the problem. Re-enable the others and enjoy your game. Don't forget to report problems to the mod author !

I've found that a lot of mods tend to break the game when you first update them also. Update, restart, then load in. Usually fixes the issue.
