|| When Harlow popped out to attack, I immediately hit him with Crucio and then Avada Kedava to make sure he had no chance to cast a spell at Natty…but then that cutscene with the goddamn Expelliarmus vs Avada Kedava quicktime event played anyway, and lo and behold he was still alive after being hit by the killing curse that one shotted his entire Health Bar, and of course he managed to get Natty with a Crucio in the next cutscene. I really really dislike the whole (boss fight spoilers!) ||Harry Potter vs Voldemort Expelliarmus vs Avada Kedava beam off mechanic in this game, because that was only possible for harry because of their wands having cores from the same phoenix and it should not be happening for the player character in this game since their wands don’t have that unique connection to the various infamous bosses’ wands||

But it doesn't become an actual proper wand link. It's just two spells fighting each other for dominance

It is unblockable by a Shield Charm. Not unblockable totally and completely. It can miss or be blocked by other means. And we have seen that spells can ricochet off of each other, like in book 4 when Harry and Draco tried to curse each other simultaneously.

Lucius Malfoy deflects Bellatrix Lestrange's stunning spell in OOTP (when she shoots one at Harry in the Department of Mysteries before he's handed over the prophecy) by shooting another spell at hers, so spells can be deflected in then books by means other than specific wand linkage and shield charms

It doesn’t happen between other wands that dint share the same core from the same beast,

It was hard to do lol but I was curious as to what would be different. If you turn him in, you speak to Ominis at Fig's memorial service instead. He tells you that Sebastian has been expelled and is awaiting trial. You tell him about Rookwood cursing Anne instead of the goblins, and he says that he'll let Sebastian know. Later when you speak to him in the Undercroft, he says that he told Sebastian what you found out, and that Sebastian understood and accepted that it was true, but that it only made him angrier.

House elves don't get paid. In their opinion, when they are able to serve a master as amazing as Dumbledore, that is payment enough. It is the highest honor to serve. This is similar to the idea that goblins have: if they make it, it's theirs.
Of course, there are the house elves who want to be paid (Dobby) but they are extremely rare. If you remember, other house elves hated how Dobby made them look because he wanted pay, which is the worst shame (almost worse than getting clothes).

This would lead to wands not working very well and unsatisfactory customers. This follows the idea that some wizards would request a wand made with a specific core that the customer would provide. We also know that Unicorns are rarer than other creatures.
Thestrals aren't exactly rare, and neither are other magic creatures. There are magical creature sanctuaries that hold them, and people can find them relatively easily. It's just that these creatures are often difficult to deal with.

And yeah I get that, but I find it more interesting if the roles are swapped and MC spirals down the path of dark magic. I decided to visit the house in Feldcroft because I liked Anne as a character, but upon going there I find a goodbye letter to Sebastian, saying that she has moved to an undisclosed location alone.
This seems weird as Anne is in such a bad state and Ominis still has a very close relationship with her, so why on earth would Ominis let her leave alone like that?

I just feel sad that the otherwise very interesting story line turned into nothing but misery, Anne did not get helped at all. We also learned that the MC can help Anne, it is not very ethical but it is an option and I feel like the game should've given us that option. Also the death of Sebastians uncle didn't sit right with me. I 100% expected Sebastian would kill him in defense of the artefact, to then use the artefact to save Anne, but he killed him after the artefact was destoryed, a death that was totally pointless and was only going to lead to losing Anne.

Overall I feel so bad that this quest led to a very ill girl ending up living all alone without her brother and best friend, just to suffer from her uncle's death and her brothers loss forever. An arguably much worse fate than just suffering from the pain she has. And Ominis and Sebastian treat it all rather casually as if Sebstian did not just ruin his sisters life permanently as she has nobody but Ominis and Sebastian.

Don't get me wrong though I loved this quest and the dark turns it took, but the end is so not satisfying I feel like the quest was left unfinished

You’re right, but I don’t know how exactly it warps the mind, let’s say MC absorbs all the pain magic and stores it in inside themself. And since it's not their pain/ it turned into a dark power I don't think it would become one with them but most likely will function as an obcurus would. (If you ever seen fantastic Beasts) But of course it's pain and would definitely feel like an internal crucio with constant screaming or crying in your ears. And your emotions would be very vulnerable to this magic so any strong emotion would lead to destruction and catastrophe. So in order to contain this power MC will have to suppress any strong emotions like anger & sadness. But also I believe that if MC manages to track anne down and convince her to let them help her, the magic isadora stored will be a great boost in helping her, also ancient magic too. (Ngl I wanted to take this chance to talk about my idea of MC having the magic inside themself lol)

I mean its clear that her absorbing the corrupted magic which was composed of emotional pain affected her mentally. It basically acted like a drug addiction to her.

MC only took a tiny whiff of it in the bad ending while Isadora took god knows how much over a period of time and given there's no known major events between that and GG's rise, its seems the MC has no desire to take over the world after the ending. As for fanfic ideas, you can do what ya want there.
