Me neither. It's perfectly fine to be uncomfortable about being a woman sometimes.
Thanks 😊 @sturdy void
Everett Clopton or Eric Clapton
Don’t know who Eric Clapton is.
What am I saying? Who cares who he is? Him. I pick him.
I pick Everdeen Cramia(no this isn't a real person, yes this is a name I made up on the spot)
I'd kill the first guy myself and probably neutral on the second
If I can delete Clopton. It's worth it
🙂
What about Hobhouse..
Omg just finished the main story…
I am so behind in power so I had to defeat ||ranrok|| so my basic attacks were doing 15 damage each 😭
I ||died about 9 times and got lucky on my last try||
I’m gonna try to unlock the house chest biw
Power?
You didn't upgrade gear?Use Potions?Plants?
Traits?Maybe lvl up to the recommended lvl?
I did upgrade gear and everything but idk why I barely did damage
Also I was on the recommended level
Huh,what about your other spells?
Everett is kind of a bully, isn't he?
Indeed. He's nice to us, but apparently to a lot of other people he's a total...you-know-what.
There's a theory that Marvolo could be Ominis' older brother. If so, I think Ominis got off lightly with the blindness.
To Salazar he would be perfect for speaking to the basilisk. No need to avoid the eyes if you’re blind.
So why wasn't Tom Riddle blind? Why aren't all of his direct descendants blind?
Why just Ominis?
I think his blindness has to do with his inbreeding, not with being an heir of Slytherin.
I’m not saying it was on purpose, just joking that it would be convenient
Ah. Yeah, true. That's an interesting question, though---does the basilisk choose to kill you by looking at it; could Tom Riddle look straight into its eyes and be fine? Or is it just something that it does without conscious decision?
That’s a good question.
I’m pretty sure a Parselmouth could order it not to kill them should it look at them. Seeing as Parselmouths have a certain degree of power over serpents
Personally I think it’s maybe a curse of some sort, considering they’ve tried all kinds of potions and cures to fi it and he he’s entirely missing pupils (which explains how he’s blind as there’s no hole for the light to enter his eyes) which isn’t a condition that exists. It seems more magical imo.
Maybe he was cursed in utero or some potion or poison was ingested by his mother and that was the result.
You know who else was like that? James Potter.
Tru, lol.
Yah it wouldn't be anything to do with being his Heir by default. Its a result of inbreeding most likely.
I'll say it again: Poor Ominis.
Does he have any family left?
I mean, any nice family members?
He would have been taken care of way better by his aunt Noctua.
I'm guessing not. :(
He has us now.
Damn right he does! 😤
No better family than friends who actually do care about how you feel unlike a few certain others
I'd like to think he has connections to keep him afloat. Though I'm in the minority since I kept my own MC's relationship with him largely negative and only develops into "tolerating each other" at best.
Though for narrative reasons, they'd never be friends because I felt like neither my MC nor him have any meaningful interaction chemistry I could develop. So I compensated with giving him connections to keep him afloat.
I'm gonna do the quest with Poppy next time I play.
Time to take down some poachers. 👊🏻
I just wish we could impersonate him longer. And-or other people.
"Can anyone corroborate that?"
Waaaaay suspicious.
I'm doing Niamh's trial.
I got stuck there, I quit and then I was just not able to get past the elder wand cause nobody was spawning for me to fight
Basically I saved in the middle which you shouldn’t do ig
That troll is a b****.
You can always reload a past save.
I don't think Niamh can be saved. She's dead.
Yup
All the keepers are dead
Very, very dead.
When my MC says she hasn't heard from Lodgok in a while...
crack Oh, that was just my heart. 💔
Poppy is so unhinged. "I wonder if you could go blind from looking directly at moonstone..." 🤣🤣
Poppy's parents don't deserve her anyway.
What if we accidentally killed her parents...
The Tobbs storyline broke me.
Although the spiders freaked me out. It was a storyline mixed with emotions. I love it
They’re abroad somewhere, I forget where.
Borneo
ty.
They're trying to poach spiders..
Hopefully they found the spiders. ❤️ Or better yet…maybe the spiders found them.
😊
They better have
That is the nicest threat ever.
"Dear Poppy's parents, I hope you get unalived by the spiders." 😘
Right? I’m so kind, aren’t I?
The Hufflepuff who tells people nicely to go touch grass
“Would you mind touching grass, please, if you’re not too busy?”
angelic smile "Avada..."
I’m a hugflepuff and I just.. AVADA…
I might need a house re evaluation
Lmaoo
But I don’t wanna start all over again 😭😭😭
You don't need a house re-evaluation. There's nothing particularly anti-Dark Arts about patience, dedication, and loyalty.
@gentle dome
Yeah
I was thinking having the patience to talk instaead of just killing them
I just kill them
Sometimes
Depends on my mood and their vibe Yk
@gentle dome True. But one can also have the patience to draw out their enemy's death and make it nice and agonizing. 👀
accidentally Bombardas poacher off a cliff Whoops.
I’m like saying avada… back n fourth
Lmaoo
I love that
I kill every poacher I see
Take my thestral for a stroll from Hogwarts around feldcroxt, and back to the train station, past hogs made and back to Hogwarts all on hoof
And kill every poacher
How do you get the thestral mount?
Dark arts
Oh, shoot, my PS4 version isn't deluxe, I don't think... Oh well.
I don’t think I have deluxe either
I just have dark arts or whatever
I don’t have the onyx hippogriff
I believe that was a pre-order thing.
Oh maybe I did
Maybe I like bought it instead of paying my phone bill for a month lol
Idk
😂
I was like NEED IT
Worth it.
Fr
I love thestrals so much
I also love the big water beast too
I love him!! He lives with my phoniex
Big water beast... Dugbog?
Oh, the graphorn. I don't think of it as a water beast. Can it swim?
You cannot. Just like you can't capture sheep. I suppose because they aren't magical.
Non-magical animals are animals too, WB!
Y'know, it's kinda weird to go into all these little agrarian communities and not see a single horse. owo
Where are the horses, WB??? We know you did something with them!
For safekeeping
Away from victor rookwood n stuff
Idk it had a swear word in the irl oops
The gif from discord
I know. :3
I didn’t wanna gets in trouble lol
That's how cruel Ranrok is..
Fighting brothers? That seems to be a recurring theme: Sirius and Regulus, Aberforth and Albus...
Sirona is going to be devastated.
Are we even gonna tell her?
I don't know, but I feel like we should.
Yeah, better late than never
IIRC there was a female Goblin in the second FB film
And I think the theory for Centaurs is that the females stay in a herd hidden away from wizards for safety? Like they must reproduce somehow and considering how much centaurs distrust humans, keeping the female centaurs safely away is for the best.
That makes sense. :3
||Granum and Marmaduke Dale…||Damocles Belby and Unnamed Brother…
Oh yeah.
Percy Weasley and Bill, Charlie, Fred, George, and Ron Weasley…
Percy and the entirety of his family, tbh
Yeah, but we’re talking brothers here.
Imagine the beauty of a female Centaur. 💞
I wanna see. 😭
You can try and put it through an AI art app.
I don’t have one.
Bing image creator is free
How do I get it?
Just Google Bing image creator, it has a web version,
Thank you! ❤️
I did a side quest with sirona later in the game (After lodgok died) and she asked me how he was doing 😭
That’s so sad omg
I hate fighting Solomon with a burning passion.
I can't get past him.
I do so well and then I die.
Just roll around him and bombarda him
Just do an Ancient Magic build and blast him into smithereens
Update: I was so angry that I actually defeated him.
Why were you angry about defeating him? Celebrate! dumps confetti on you
I was angry because I couldn't defeat him at first.
And I decided not to turn Sebastian in.
I know. :P
HUG
The Jackdaw quest is the only thing that differs from house to house, right?
Storywise?
Yes
All right, so...no real reason to go through the game with all four houses then.
If you want the achievement you can just play up to that point
The rage buff kicked in
Now I'm angry because I didn't get to kill him a second time 😭
Poor Anne. I mean Anne Thisbe. The one who broke Richard Jackdaw's heart and ended up in Azkaban. She went mad.
TW ||Azkaban is abuse. That's not how a prison should work.||
Which is also exactly why we should send Solomon there
Is the Jackdaw quest different for every house?
Yes
I just realized it is. I'm playing on my Slytherin save file.
I wonder how Scrope lost his ear.
He explains it to you if you ask
Hold on a second: Jackdaw was with Anne, but he was trying to impress Apollonia at the same time? What a player. 🤔
He wasn’t trying to impress Aphollonia, it’s more Aphollonia was obsessed with Jackdaw and threw Anne under the bus because she was spiteful and jealous and her word had more power due t9 her family
That makes sense.
That little girl in the memory was Isidora, right?
We see her with her father and brother when the Keepers restore their village after the drought.
Yeah!
Isidora's brother was sick. And Anne is sick too. That's a heartbreaking parallel. 💔
Is thia just for main story or side story?
both
Also he’s kinda cute so no Azkaban
Tho he did kinda commit yk
Stabby stabby
I am a big Seb simp. He's morally grey as a character and I like that. Makes him interesting.
He should've let me commit stabby stabby😡😡😡
I literally said that to someone yesterday , those exact words
Omg-
Like…all of them? In that order?
No but the same content
Should I turn Seb in to Azkaban? On one hand I’m literally in love with him and he did the right thing, on the other hand he literally did something that’s forbidden no matter the circumstances
NO.
N-O. Nooooooooo.
Nay.
All my friends are telling me to but I literally fell in love with the dude from day 1 and I’ve used forbidden spells too
They’re like “he’s dating Ominis not you” but still
Azkaban is cruel for anyone, especially a kid
Yeah after seeing Azkaban I don’t think he’d survive it
Do. Not. Do. It.
I could never bring myself to send him to azkaban
ur pfp makes me scream everytime I see it
So What did you guys do with the painting I put it in the hogs head.
I mean if he was just tattling I would let it slide but making stuff up just to get people in trouble is where I draw the line.
Indeed. I burned it.
Now burning it was a bit too much I honestly believe putting him in the hogs head for a while will at least ensure the next time he does squeal its the truth.
I hardly think so.
I think the sorting hat messed up ...I think you should have been placed in Slitherin.
How can you say that?! Didn't I just say I burned the portrait?? Of course I'm a Hufflepuff!
Yes but it had sentiance ...there is the difference.
Bah, it's not like I killed him, he has another portrait.
Maybe this will teach him to treat people with a little respect.
Lest he wants me to break into the library in the middle of the night and "accidentally" get too close to it with a candle.
For example if you set a giant spider on fire and watch it run around screaming in pain and you have the urge to make that one emperor's new groove meme ...
Which meme?
The just right meme.
Ah, lol.
Also I am curious what you all decided to do with the repository.
The first time around, I decided to keep it secret...for now, but to eventually share its existence. This time, I'm thinking I'll probably open it.
I chose to open it ...near the beginning of the game Professor Fig said "Magic is but a tool, it depends on how it is used" or somthing like that and I agree. Such power should instead be studied to see if there is a proper way for it to be used.
I put the portrait back in the 3 broomsticks. My mc doesn’t hang out there and those kids deserve punishment for getting someone to steal the painting. They could have talked to the owner of the 3 broomsticks about its lies, rather involving criminals.
ALSO LBH the keepers seem like kind of hipocrytes.
"The magic isadora used is bad no wizard should use it no matter what the case is." Yea may I remind you what spell one of your own used to STOP Isadora.
If your going to choose a hill and die on it I better find your corpse there when the dust clears.
It’s a simulacra at best. It imitated the subject it was based on. But it’s not actually alive. Just enchanted paints that move and simulate a personality.
You don’t need to feel bad lol
Tru. No matter what Poppy says, that backstabbing, ungrateful lil'...
Fun fact! The Unforgivable curses weren’t classed as Unforgivable during the time of the Keepers.
Well, actually, I think Crucio was, but not the other two.
Nope, none of them were. They weren’t criminalised back then.
You could use them on whoever and not get in trouble
Are you sure? 'Cause I'm 98% certain Sebastian mentioned Imperio and Avada Kedavra as not being illegal back then, but he didn't mention Crucio...
Yep, they were first classified as “Unforgivable” in 1717. After which, using them on any human, magical or muggle, was a one way ticket to Azkaban if you were caught and tried for it.
Huh. Interesting. Wonder why 1717...
There's likely no lore explanation for a specific date but let's say something in 1717 happened which likely skyrocketed the crime rate (Murder specifically) where wizards and witches were abusing them left and right.
Like let's say there's disagreements in the Ministry where some officials were having petty disputes which escalated that resulted in several people dead
But that's just my theory on it
It was also about 25 years after the International Statute of Secrecy was put into effect.
And angry or frightened witches and wizards killing, torturing or controlling muggles out of fear or hatred isn’t the best thing for trying to keep the Wizarding world hidden.
Plus moralities change and new laws are put into effect.
It used to be that you could be hung just for stealing a horse
But then as tines and ethics changed, only the most heinous crimes earned the death penalty.
Now there’s no death penalty in the UK, it’s life in prison.
Times change and so laws and ethics do too.
Not an illegal spell in his time and its a quick painless death and she's using magic that will turn students into vegatables with what's she's doing and is warped by the corrupt magic she absorbs making her blind to it all. She had to be stopped one way or the other and he didn't think they could subdue her so he did what he felt he had to do.
The magic had nothing to do with it a combination of Isadoras lack of training, poor mental state. and Poor understanding of the power she is weiding that lead to the results. Can cars kill people, yes they can, but we still use them but NOT without proper training and tests to make sure the person behind the wheel is ready.
She basically lobotomises all her patients and is implied to use it against her students against their knowledge
The reason why the Keepers were against her because she kept using it against students
It's like a teacher force feeding you drugs as a child because she said it was "good" for you
Then you grow up as an adult with lasting side effects on your body since the teacher jacked it up against your knowledge just to use you as a live lab rat
I am NOT defending what Isadora did I am just saying the magic itself is not bad she went overkill with it by turning her father into a veggie and using students as lab rats.
nod I would've liked to try healing Anne with our ancient magic...
Exaclty what she did for her father at first removing the trauma caused by the death of her brother so he could move on that showed promise.
Because she took it too far.
That was only when dhe decides since all emotions cause pain to simply remove them all.
Which is why I considered that she did not do the right thing at all
She just wanted to play god and assumed everyone would benefit from her methods of "healing"
But Anne very well could've benefitted. It was worth a shot, at least.
Not sure if the methods would be compatible
Since her ailment was induced through a curse
Still causes her pain.
I felt like it could have side effects
Yes a curse afflicted by ancient magic.
Not Ancient Magic actually
It's one that Rookwood made himself
And Victor Rookwood had no affinity for Ancient Magic
And your telling me that every goblin we faced did?
No they used something else
But Rookwood did not have the means to use it
But he was indeed the caster for it
Yeah, Anne wasn't cursed with ancient magic, but she still might have been able to be healed by it. shrug Who knows?
His line of dialogue in the encounter with the MC does imply that he was envious that some random had it
But the descendant of Charles Rookwood didn't
I was thinking of the side effects
Because Charles Rookwood didn't have the gift either. o.o
Like her method involved extracting pain. So I felt that if we used it
We have to take it on
I was originally going to write that my MC dies from using that method since it's an equivalent exchange to heal one but transfer the curse to the other
No, we'd just need somewhere to put it. Which would lead us to the same predicament Isadora found herself in... but Anne is literally dying here....
I don't believe in the method not having any sort of side effects
So which is why I wouldn't mind killing off my own protagonist for it
No what happened was when ranrock and his goblins opened the repository under rookwood manor Ranrock took the lions share for himself and his goblin giving them the power they needed to hold their own that is where the loyalists got their power from that seems very likely he gave some to rookwood and a select few ashwinders/poachers to secure their continued assistance as we see the same red smoky aura on some of them this same aura is seen on some of the spiders/mongrels so either some leaked out and affected them or their contamination had somthing to do with the poachers.
Sorry I meant Mongrels.
Though that bit isn't in the game in the story itself. Rookwood mentioned that he had no way of using Ancient Magic
The Loyalists all had to use to a device to manifest it
Ranrok had a gauntlet to let him use the powers from the Repository
Many Loyalists also have the same type of equipment
I think they likely engineered an equipment to enhance themselves with Isidora's corrupted stores of Ancient Magic energy
But the Ashwinders themselves don't use it based on gameplay
They used standard spells and curses
All we know is that Rookwood was the one who applied the curse to Anne and during that time Ranrock and Rookwood were working together what he used to create that curse is not told. For all we know he had a vial of the stuff he gathered form the repository and decided to see what would happen if a Cruico spell is fired at a target through it.
We have no evidence to back that theory up, however.
We have no evidence it was not and considering the symptoms of the curse IDK why Sebastian was still carrying on with the relic after he saw what Isadora did ...if I were him I would have banked everything on the ancient magic route.
If we have no evidence that it could be ancient magic, then we can assume it wasn't.
Him snapping and still using the Relic feels like a quest or an option got cut to save time tbh
But Rookwood's curse could be like Ginny's self made spell
The Bat Bogey Hex
If Ginny can craft a spell as a child that does have some nasty side effects even if not fatal
Then Dark Wizards like Rookwood likely have far more advanced curses beyond the Unforgiveables
Even so the ancient magic route was probably the best option....and it proved the original argument using the ancient magic to remove lets say the pain of a traumatic event or the result of a curse is not a bad thing. It is when it is used to lets say extract all of someones emotions turning them into a zombie due to some misguided belief that all emotions cause pain that is when it goes too far.
Goblin silver. That is able to contain AM though it seems to corrupt it in the process or at least is not the way its used in its natural state due to the color change from blue to red inside goblin silver.
The other issue is she's meddling with emotions which are connected to the soul in the HP verse and doing any magic that meddles with the soul is one that risks perilous consequences for the person doing it or to those they use it on.
There's also a question of how many times she used that spell on her dad. Like did he go veggie after one use or many. Cos she had no reason to do that to him again after the first time. Unless the effect is only temp.
Also after the first time, did he no longer have the ability to feel any form of negative emotion or any emotion regarding his son's death when it came to his mind?
I think it was implied that she used it a lot...
Like there's an ethical issue in it regardless of her intial intent
Many times
Prob
Since as her father became a living vegetable
She used her own students as a new source
Yah that came later
Many of which are First Years since they'd be easier to exploit
I don't like Isidora mostly because she was using 11 year olds as her live guinea pigs
Yah it seems clear the magic isn't meant to used that way to me
Like the original use even corrupted the magic
so regardless of intent, the magic isn't able to be used as she used it without a dark side effect
It corrupts the magic which in turn if absorbed corrupts the person who absorbed it. We see that from her journal entries. It twisted her utterly.
Which is kinda why I suspect there has to be a caveat in healing Anne through that method
Like what if it wants equivalent exchange?
I don't think Isadora's spell would work on Anne period
It doesn't
Its not designed for that
But brute forcing it will have side effects
And you don't need AM to lessen physical pain from curses
Which is why I suspect that Rookwood's curse is a self made curse without Ancient Magic
Prob
If Ginny could make a hex as a child
Dark Wizards like Rookwood likely have a plethora
Nah
Or thats just normal shield but better than the others or its just for the boss fight
That's just a gameplay mechanic
Yah assumed so.
To stop players from AK'ing him
Hmm. That one shots his shield everytime i think doesn't it?
Ya.
They patched it so you can't cheese boss fights with them anymore
So they removed 1 shotting bosses?
Yes
Only thing its not 1 shotting is Ranrock himself pre-patch
Also those AM giant guardians i think
You can't one-shot the Dark Wizard Boss Fights anymore
Oh you can't one-shot them anyways
Since those are midgame bosses
You have to get to Winter to get AK
Yah unless you do a thing that lets you do it early
||The forbidden "third party tool"? 👀 ||
Aye. But yah the side effect of the Isadora spell brings to mind the villain of LRFF13s plan which would result in ||humans being unable to feel any negative emotions at all. That's not human.|| Thats what Isodora's spell leads to but even worse since its all emotions eventually.
It was implied heavily that somewhere in her studies she came to the conclusion that the only way to free someone completely from pain was to remove all emotions from them....though it seems her mindset was that because doing this was making her more powerful it was some sort of reasoning that it was doing the right thing ....all the more reason the ancient magic should not be somthing that is stuided alone.
Likley she used her father for repeated experiments and once she deemd him completely free of pain she moved to the studnets of hogwarts.
"If that's the only way I can get you to hand over that book, then so be----Accio Intermediate Transfiguration."
tucks book under arm and walks away, muttering "Stupid Third Years..."
So Mr Morganach lost both of his children because Isidora went on a power trip. Sarcasm incoming: Great job, Isidora.
Well, I almost got to the end, but Ranrok in dragon form is a b****, so I'm gonna show my Gryffindor character some love now.
So, how come you don't get a choice between Amit and Adelaide's uncle, in terms of needing to bring someone who speaks Gobbledygook? 👀 I mean, we know for sure that her uncle understands a fair bit of the language...
Probably because Amit is a stand in Ravenclaw companion lol.
No actual relationship questlines but they had to use a Ravenclaw sonewhere so he was haphazardly shoved into the main quest.
Ravenclaw got a really nice common room and balcony entrance.
And then got shafted in everything else.
No companion and companion questline.
Generally unpleasant or boring NPCs
An absolutely AWFUL house exclusive quest that doesn’t even have you talking to a new NPC or go somewhere interesting.
Poor Ravenclaws. Why does WB hate them?
not sure.
WB: "NERDS."
Is there a guide anyone has found for the best talents? I’ve recently unlocked it and I’ve got 9 talent points to use but I just don’t know what to use them on, any suggestions?
Well it really depends on your playstyle, but I will say that if you're playing on Story or Easy mode, the Potent Wiggenweld talents aren't worth it; you're going to have more Wiggenweld potions than you're going to know what to do with, so you don't really need to stretch them.
That does help tbh 🤣 I don’t usually play combat games so I do have it on easy - but these talent things always confuse me like what’s the best ones to get first? I’m going to go out on a limb and maybe say the spell slots?
Personally, I recommend all of the stealth ones, and yes, absolutely, get every spell set you can
I also recommend the improved Incendio, because the ring of fire makes it much easier to fight Inferi
Let me take another look at the ones I have so I can tell you which ones I would recommend for any playstyle
Smashing thank you!
So I would recommend almost all of the Core talents, except for the Wiggenweld ones depending on your difficulty, as I already mentioned. I would also recommend Protego Mastery (the shockwave one) instead of Protego Expertise (the projectile one) because the former makes the latter redundant once you're a high enough level to train it.
I would also recommend sinking a few points into the Dark Arts talents even if you won't be using the Unforgivables; in particular, Enduring Curse, Blood Curse, Stunning Curse, and Curse Sapper.
If you're going to be using plants or potions a lot, then I'd recommend the corresponding talents from the Room of Requirement category.
If you're going to be favouring spells, then I'd get the talents for the ones you use most often.
This is a massive help thank you!
I wish Amit had a relationship questline 😭😭
sighs Tried everything I could to be stealthy, but can't get past the goblins unseen. Oh well. Still counts as not being seen if I don't leave witnesses.
promises to look out for the thief who stole Padraic Haggerty's family heirloom ---> turns around and breaks into the house behind his stall
Good detective work the thief could be hiding in that house.
"Sebastian is to come nowhere near Feldcroft! Nowhere near Anne!" Crucios Solomon from sundown to sun-up
Oh like he's in charge of the hamlet? Haaa....
“All evil goblins are welcome in Feldcroft and near Anne!”
He's invited some of the evil goblins around for tea.
Naw....
It’s the hidden conspiracy. Solomon was part of Rookwood’s gang all along and was working with Ranrok. He was only taking care of Anne because he felt guilty of his friend Rookwood’s curse and then tried to get her killed by Goblins so he wouldn’t be responsible anymore. 🙃
👀 Why didn't we see this before?! It all makes sense now.
He was actually fired from his job instead of quitting because he was a double agent and told Rookwood and Ranrok abt everything the Aurors' missions
That bastard...
Now let's not get too crazy
We're not. 👀
We're being very sensible
Agreed.
I suddenly remembered putting Ferdinand Pratt's portrait in the Hog's Head instead of burning it
Oh my god how could I not realize this sooner
Why?
SOLOMON DIDN'T FEEL GUILTY ABOUT ROOKWOOD'S CURSE...HE WAS THE ONE WHO TOLD ROOKWOOD TO CAST IT
He called me a bastard 😦
XD
And then he tried to stop Sebastian because he WANTED Anne to die
C'mon, why would he do that?
Because he's PURE EVIL
Like, 100% pure, undiluted evil?
He was so jealous of his brother that he wanted to attack his kids😰
He wasn't actually an Auror
He was just confined to a desk doing all the Auror paperwork
Because his boss saw so little potential in him
And he saw his brother being so successful as a professor
So he rigged the lights 😭
And killed his own brother and his sister in law
😭 Let's get Sebastian an Order of Merlin, First Class for getting rid of him.
Yes exactly
And Solomon should've been sent to Azkaban anyway
For attempted murder of MC and Sebastian and the murder of Mr and Mrs Sallow
Sebastian got rid of someone even worse than Ranrok and Rookwood
He's a hero 👏👏👏👏👏👏
❤️ writes his biography and negotiates the movie rights
It's even better than the Harry Potter movies themselves 🥰🥰 such an icon
I thought the cutscene in DADA class before you learn Expelliarmus was so cute. I love how Poppy is significantly shorter than everyone else. 🥺
Smol sensitive bean. 🥺
And she's interacting around with Everett and Sebastian. 💞
I bet Poppy and Adelaide are besties.
We need more time with Ominis that isn't spent listening to him scold Sebastian. :(
Sec I have something about this
he spends most of his time with me.. sorry…
Can I hang out with you?
i suppose..
They're married, buddy
Don't forget the gifts
I don't care. q-q
You gotta give them gifts, pal
brings gift card to Outback Steakhouse
I'm gonna pretend I know what an 'Outback Steakhouse' is
And assume it's good
Is a steak restaurant, silly.
And yes, is good.
All I know are the restaurants near the beach downstairs
@placid wyvern Thank god he didn't had one, he is pathetic
I can't wait to do the rest of my quests with my Ravenclaw.
Game when you’re playing Ravenclaw: ends after five quests
Best common room but shortest gameplay
Which could be good if you're planning to get those achievements
I meant the side quests.
Oh
Prisoner of Love is probably the best one
Talking to Anne in Azkaban hit hard.
I'm glad you love your characters because I like torturing mine
I wonder if Thistlewood is okay
Who what huh?
I like every version of Jackdaw's quest. I like that Scrope is helping in the Slytherin version. He is kinda going behind Black's back and that's... interesting.
I'm assuming she survived, but she has a pretty big scar.
I like the Hufflepuff version, going into a cave and fighting Dugbogs was not a good experience
Probably had to stay at St Mungo's for a long while
@placid wyvern Amit , who else! As a South Asian he made me cringe 😬
I like Amit. What made you cringe about him?
Maybe the Gobbledegook quest..? But I need more lore...
I think he deserves a background
Those godforsaken Dugbogs are so hard to defeat.
Especially since it's kinda early-game
I might continue playing on my Hufflepuff save file later.
You probably should
Unless it's late and you need sleep
My Ravenclaw should have kept Gwyneira the Diricawl. I regret giving her to Madam "I'm gonna turn her feathers into fashion".
WAIT WHAT
Did I spoil something?
FEATHERS INTO FASHION...?
I have never ever sold a magical beast so I wouldn't know...
Or I'm just a lazy bum
There's a side quest that lets you rescue an Albino Diricawl. You can give it to a lady who wants to use its feathers for fashion or you can keep it. And I stupidly gave it to the lady.
I think I might restart my Ravenclaw playthrough after I did the last fight because that bothers me.
I didn't know there was a quest like that....
I likely haven't done it either, must be one of the 5 hidden quests not on my map
Doesn't mean she'll kill it but ya I'd be concerned. I don't want her to have gone Cruella on that bird.
Yeah.
I'll just make different choices with my other characters. That's okay.
I'm just gonna imagine my Ravenclaw kept Gwyneira.
Yah your first playthrough or whatever doens't have to be ur personal headcanon
made a choice u regret 1 playthrough, just say in ur headcanon ur mc made a different choice
Yep. I'm gonna do that. I kind of wish there were more story quests.
I'm so excited for my Hufflepuff playthrough.
I'm gonna do so many great things with her. 🥰
🥹
@sturdy void Everything about him made me cringe, and he is not even a character but a Stereotype in a trope
Both my Gryffindor and Hufflepuff are Scamanders. 💞
I have never watched Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them
Professor Hecat is badass.
"I get new students every year, but I only have one Hebridean Black skull."
would love to see her whooping black's ass when they were younger
"I'm sure you'd be good enough to blast eachother to pieces in your own time"
Get a timeturner, buddy
sadly mine didn't work
Madam Kogawa's story is so interesting too.
I love that Imelda says flying class is only for "beginners and bumbling baboons". I appreciate the Professor McGonagall reference here. 😊
Just killed Rookwood 😍😍😍
slay
butterbeers on the house
i laughed at that way harder than i should have
Okay so need a spot or help, when fighting ranrock as the dragon and we’ve moved to the second area, what do I have to do because I’ve just been blocking his rocks for about 10 minutes now
@somber ridge helppp meee 😭😭
Omg nvmmm, just been stood at the top of the slide thing blocking for 10 mins instead of walking down 😭😭😭
tbh i've only completed the game once and wouldn't remember how LMFAO
that’s what I did for like 30 minutes 😭
I got so upset cuz I kept dying & couldn’t figure it out
Just did the third trial and wow that was sick
Niamh's trial? The one with the Trolls and Reapers?
That was so interesting.
I feel like San Bakar's trial was a bit short. I was expecting more interactions with other magical creatures.
Yeah
AK won't help ya there
No
Oh no
Crucio gives you invincibility frames tho
This feel like a dark souls boss
But it won't do any damage
Guess I’m setting crucio instead of sneaky
Might be better to set one purple and yellow spell for your slot
Yeah I’ve got purple yellow red and crucio now
Because if you can't break his shield he'll remain invincible
Second phase
Gonna redo the entire mission with more supplies because that’s hard
Salazar Slytherin and Sebastian Sallow saved the wizarding world. :3 Oh, and I helped a little.
I wish I could tell him that.
"I can't believe we found ourselves trapped in that Scriptorium. Never again." Really, Ominis? That's the first thing you say to me after I saved your ass? Not even a "Atta' girl"? 🥺
no
But...but please? 🥺
not allowed!
But whyyyyyy? 😭
married
q-q He doesn't have to marry me, I just want a thank you.
"Perhaps it has to do with the light and the darkness." "Perhaps it has to do with the light and the darkness." "Perhaps it has to do with the light and the dar---" Effie: "SILENCIO."
"Now that I have my gobstones back, I'm ready to take on all challengers! ...If I can find any." Y'know, as annoying as Zenobia is, I wish we could choose to play a game with her, at least once.
I kept the gobstones... (Just kidding)
lol. I wish I could be that mean and not care about it.
Yeah... only slytherins can do that...
I kept them and do play slytherin can confirm
"Wasn't putting Ferdinand in the Hog's Head a bit much?" I swear to God, Poppy, NOTHING I do pleases you. This honestly sours my perception of your character on replays.
given what his portrait's false rumors bout students has done to students over time, i'd just let it be destroyed
That's what I did in my first playthrough, but she threw such a fit about it I thought I'd show him a little mercy this time.
Not doing that again.
Next time, it's ARSON. 🖼️ 🔥
I mean if he agrees to stop his spying and spreading false rumors i'd allow him to be put back up. Dunno if that comes up though
As far as I know, you can't get him to atone for his actions, even as a lie.
Now, as for me? If he apologized to all the students he lied about, and actually sounded like he meant it, I would allow his portrait to be put back up...in the Hog's Head. Otherwise, he burns.
yah im not letting him spy and spread falsehoods bout students to black again then
god he even sounds annoying
Right? There's such a thing as being too nice, Poppy.
Yah.
Like if ur against just destroying the portait then just put in a dark room somewhere out of way
Yeah, but the game doesn't let me do that. So...oh well.
Right. They may be sentient, sort of, but even that, not really.
some are just not as limited as others.
Whatever happens to him, he has another portrait in the library, and I'd like to see anyone steal something like that from Hogwarts, so....
yah and you can just put his portrait in hogs head were he won't be able to spy on students
and he hates the hogs head. so if ur not ok with the burning you get that at least
and i expect someone there will either toss his portrait in a bin or burn it themselves.
I think il put him in hogs head cos that will piss him off and he can't spy on students anymore and its a lesser crime than arson
Il just headcanon he gets moved to a storage or destroyed later by someone else.
Or the portrait gets used as a dartboard so often that he can't see out of it anymore.
yah. W scenerio
god the cutscene during and after ||fig dies|| always makes me sob, its been three times now
end of main story spoilers!!!
We need to get to the room of requirement to throw the portrait and then have Crabbe time travel and burn it down
I wanna know how well my character did on the O.W.L.s. ;-;
100%
Were the star student after all
lol. I would reject that result. No way Effie got all O's.
When’s the last time we see/talk to Sebastian :/
(After NOT turning him in)
The story was so bad
Did you pay attention at all to it?
How come I can kill every enemy and nobody mentions it
The side story with Sebastian, was way better because it was more personal
@fallen saddle Isidora made everyone emotionless shells, how is she innocent?
She went too far trying to save his dad from pain, she wasnt evil in that way…
Then she started making students emotionless
Yeah… i shouldnt be in spoilers chat…
You haven’t beaten the game…
I believe it's after Eleazar's memorial.
I don’t think I’m at that part yet
Agreed. That's the real main story; everything else is just a side-plot.
i mean they are tryna kill you and npcs do mention you takin them on or rumors of it.
It's odd how the dark wizard and witch NPCs never try to use the Unforgivables on us during battle.
He says that he's glad he met us and then we never see him ever again
Because they have morals and we're soulless players..?
Whattt, when was this
They probably had children
So sad, I want him to say
The last Sebastian quest before we get the achievement..?
To say what?
Where do I see my achievements x
Stayyy**
Love how at the end none of our “friends” talk to us anymore, I walked past Natty and Sebastian and neither said anything to me
Bit rude, I have attachment issues likeee 🙄🙄💀
Do you okay on Steam?
Atleast Ominis talks to us
He’s said something to me yeah 😭
Confused?
Gaming platform
No then
Yeah. It makes me sad that Sebastian barely acknowledges the fact that I exist anymore.
I think it's decent overall taking into account that this is all fan fiction basically. Nobody knows (obviously) and writes this world better than Jo does.
The problem I have with the story is that, you are fighting alone against a army basically, while still being at school
I don't know about you but that actually sounds awesome
Frrr
I finished the main quests within a week, and it’s so sad walking around cause there’s not much left to do ;-;
I wish it was multiplayer so that I could hang out with my friends or battle
Sebastian’s quest was defo the best. It could have been the main story, it was that good
I know what happens but I'm taking it slowly through the main & story quests
I'm currently replaying on pc, can't remember how far I got on my switch
hi there, new hogwarts legacy person here, ive been plating through the main story and loving it all, im on a steam deck/PC there was a quest im looking for-its got a house elf you can free and a shop you can take over. is this a quest i can play or is it only for a specific console?
Wait until February
It releases for all platforms next month
thanks sooo much for answering my question, i appreciatre it
Same here. Lowkey feeling post-potter depression after finishing the game 🫠
😭 the struggle is realllll. It feels so empty playing knowing there’s nothing else to explore ;-;
bahahaha i feel ya. i was just sad i couldn't see him anymore. i'm expecting him to go full villain in the next game (he won't, but that'd be fun)
You just learn his spells then toss him aside huh lol
Ooh same here
HAHA I SWEAR IT WASNT LIKE THAT
Main story got over sooo quickly :/ it's quite sad
I would love to see a lot more
Did you do main missions only?
I was doing side quests too at the same time
Ah damn yeah well on the bright side if you didn't use unforgivables you can do a evil run
Ya lol
Noooooooo tobbs 😢
Why does some beast have a star next to gender?
why did i never notice lmao. i think i'm the only hufflepuff who didn't spend hours with the beasts nd all
What’s the canon ending for Sebastian?
there is none
devs will either pick for a sequel or keep the choice intact by letting you decide in a sequel which happened if its mentioned at all
Nothing official but a ravenclaw or Gryffindor would probably turn him in
A huff or Slytherin would be too loyal
Tbh I’ve decided not to turn him in
Impiro is a very useful spell what a nice guy for teaching us it
Sebastian deserves to know the truth, so never will mine turn him in.
say what you want.
Huh? I said nothing offical to start My message lol
yeah ikik
I'm just saying that I wouldn't betray sebastian like that...
most likely people trying to cosplay as a really evil slytherin or gryffindor
Sebastian's parents did nothing wrong.
Morally or legally
We see bad parenting from the first scene which isn't illegal
Morally. I don't consider reading in a cellar to be reckless behavior.
He's abusive and dismissive this is made clear immediately
He don't like Sebastian because of his dad/brother this is made clear immediately
"He keeps refering to me as my father's child"
He's not legally wrong just morally, a bad parent and mean to Sebastian
Er... I'm not talking about Solomon, you know that, right?
No lol as Sebastian uncle is his legal guardian he would be his parent I missed that lol
Of course people dead before the game did nothing wrong
Yeah, but Ominis calls them irresponsible and reckless without giving a good reason why.
They were studying dark stuff and Omi hates it. So he’s biased.
Where does it say they were studying Dark Arts? I don't see that anywhere.
I guess I misremembered. Sorry
They were regarded as optimistic, open-minded, and eager for more knowledge: traits which Sebastian wished to emulate.[1]
Their brother/brother-in-law, Solomon Sallow, told Sebastian that his father would be ashamed of his use of the Dark Arts. Therefore, it is likely that these individuals, like Solomon, held a strong aversion to Dark Magic.[5]
There's nothing that refutes them studying dark magic ravenclaw for knowledge style though
They were regarded as optimistic, open-minded, and eager for more knowledge: traits which Sebastian wished to emulate.[1]
They were dedicated professors as they spent nearly every waking moment in their cellar library,[3
That in now way refutes dark magic on a knowledge basis
Infact the specific keyword open minded points to plausibility
Hell even eager for more knowledge and dark magic not being illegal can be a hint
He notes Sebastian is just as reckless as his parents which again is a interesting key word choice
Additionally why is calling Sebastian his father's son a insult? What did your brother do that you dislike?
Study dark magic
It's definitely possible that his parents studied dark magic academically, but were against its use...but would be willing to make exceptions on a case-by-case basis because open-mindedness?
I can't make the argument they used it as there's not enough evidence but the keywords reckless & open minded
Having a thirst for knowledge and doing something to upset his brother (uncle)
Definitely points to atleast studying
His parents were either ravenclaw or Slytherin as far as I know unconfirmed but if Slytherin they are usually ok with dark magic aswell
Or it's possible that his parents didn't use dark magic themselves but wouldn't automatically disavow anyone else who did, and Solomon didn't really understand his brother at all.
At least one of them was probably Ravenclaw, yeah, given the whole knowledge obsession.
Without evidence otherwise it should be safe to assume they shared Sebastians house aswell though
Indeed. Without evidence, it would be safe to assume one of them might've been a Gryffindor or Hufflepuff, too.
No the lore and canon shows family's share houses lol
All the Weasley's blacks (aside from one) ect
We'd need evidence to say they were in another house
points to Lenora Everleigh Exhibit A.
I'm sure you're aware there are exceptions to the rule but the game makes us aware of this when it happens again like sirius black
So without evidence to otherwise we can assume they are Slytherin as the majority of families share houses
We have direct evidence that family members don't all share a House, and that it's not exactly shocking to be sorted apart.
Correct! But they are the minority so when this happens we need evidence of it happening
It could be a slim majority, though. Like I said, when siblings are sorted into different Houses, it's not a big deal.
With no proof of them being sorted into different houses it's safe to assume like the majority they shared house with Sebastian
It's safe to assume the opposite could be true, as well.
Incorrect as that's the minority outcome we would be evidence of that happening
But it's common enough that it could very well be true.
With evidence yes
And btw inside the known Harry Potter canon it's happened less than 10 times and one Gryffindor in Hogwarts legacy
We don't know the Houses of many people in HP Canon, tbh.
I don't think you understand the definition of majority & minority
With no evidence the majority outcome is assumed
That's a catch 22 argument
In the canon we've been told it's less than 10
I highly doubt that it's happened fewer than 10 times in the entirety of Hogwarts' history, or else the cases we do know about would make history.
Instead, it's just, "Oh, Parvati's a Gryffindor and Padma's a Ravenclaw. In other news, snow is cold."
In the canon we've been told it's less than 10 and one in Hogwarts legacy
So I'll just be generous and say we've been made aware of 10 confirmed cases
The majority is family shares house and with no evidence otherwise Sebastians parents were Slytherin
Or perhaps neither of his parents were Slytherin.
is a rule of Hogwarts that families get sorted together. Which makes little sense, if the Sorting is supposed to be based on personality traits.Dec 9, 2018
It...is supposed to be based on personality traits.
Well...I suppose more values than personality traits, but...personality plays a part in it.
Also I double checked and the canon people we know in different houses is less than 7 not 10
I'm not going to but we could compare that to same house families I can only assume the number would be much higher
If same-house families really are the majority, it's probably something like a 52%/48% split.
Regardless without evidence of the minority occuring the majority gets assumed
To add to the argument against families akways. Ding sorted into the sane house, in Ron’s Howker from his mother, it openly congratulates Ginny on being put in Gryffindor… which blatantly implies that you aren’t guaranteed to end up in the sane house as your family.
It’s fairly common. But it’s not A RULE that says families end up in the sane house. It depends on the traits of a person. Not their family.
Very true. Molly wouldn't have needed to congratulate Ginny on being in Gryffindor if that outcome just basically went without saying.

"harsher measure"
Additionally to major vs lesser arguments the burden of proof argument fallacy applies
Meaning the minority needs evidence
So probably less common than 52% of families. Maybe 49-ish percent.
Or less. idk. I'm not good at math.
You can congratulate when you already know the outcome
It's the parent vs kid dynamic showing affection I'm so proud of you sweetheart yadda yadda
Also Hatstalls wouldn’t be a thing if you’re guaranteed to end up in the sane house as your family (assuming you’re a pure or half blood .
MacGonnagall was a hat stall
Neville was almost a Hatstall
Congratulating when you know the outcome is meaningless.
Neville was a forced hatstall going against what what he should do bad example
What he should do?
Parents still do it
Participation trophy still exist lol
Molly isn't exactly a participation-trophy kind of parent.
Regardless it's somtning that happens and oh she is, in the books she's more affectionate towards Harry and ginny
Everyone's nicer to Harry in the books but that's another topic
She's not. It isn't that Percy gets an owl and, oh, of course, all of the other kids get a little something too. In Molly's family, you get something if you do something to deserve it.
What a migraine inducing reply
That's a movie watcher response not knowing Molly is more affectionate in the books
No, it's the response of someone reading the books. Percy gets an owl and new robes because he's a Prefect and Head Boy and whatnot; everyone else gets hand-me-downs.
She shows a little favoritism towards Ginny, but not a lot.
You absolutely assume Same house unless said otherwise
Across all Harry Potter media you can count Canon different house kids or parents on your fingers
So you admit ginny gets favour, why argue the point then lol
Exactly
She gets a little favor, because she's the girl. But, as I said, not a lot. And not enough to where she'd congratulate Ginny for doing something that is basically the equivalent of getting out of bed in the morning.
Any book reader knows Ginny is absolutely favoured
Regardless admitting she gets favour is a book closed moment
No, it's not.
No need to be dense , you admitted she gets favour thats it she's favored, that is the correct response
This whole conversation is a useless circle bottom line is with no evidence otherwise we can only assume as the majority is the case Sebastian parents were Slytherin lol
I admitted that she gets a little favor. That does not disprove my argument.
We can say it's likely that at least one of his parents was in Slytherin, but we can't just automatically assume it as fact unless stated otherwise.
It does, homies only point was ginny and Harry get favored, admitting ginny gets favoured is a case closed
Without evidence the majority outcome gets assumed kiddo
If it really even is a majority. Textual evidence would suggest it's not.
That's what I've been saying for half a hour lol
All evidence across all media points to it being the majority with i don't know, six Canon examples of it not being the case
Yep
Just because you only know of six Canon cases doesn't mean that's all there is.
The only relevancy is the confirmed Canon and lore not what you think or your headcanon
I'm going back to lurking before I get trapped into running around In circles with you too even now our conversation is repeating the one you just had with miss morganarch lol 😆
Textual evidence suggests that it's not anything to get excited over when someone is sorted differently from their family members. Therefore, not a big enough majority that same-House-family is the case unless stated otherwise.

The lore and canon states the majority and what should be assumed this debate is just getting silly now lol
Your thinking is too black-and-white.
Unfortunately the book pages where the lore and canon comes from is black ink and white pages
Ha ha, so funny.
Also I don't condone Batgirls behavior even tho she's agreeing with me just a fyi lol

Think of it like finding a shiny in pokemon games, pretty much same thing in HL
So how powerful is the HL MC compared to the Big 3 of the HP universe.
Well Harry was never powerful besides his mental capabilities
I am taling about Voldemort Dumbeldore and Grimwald.
Ah! Probably above voldemort and below Grim and dumbe
Really I would put Grim at the weakest of the big 3 the only reason he had a bit power boost was because of his elder wand what maid Grim dangerous was his cunning.
Exactly he was powerful in his own right and cunning enough tk make up for it in other ways
In the books when voldamort visits him he couldn't care less and calls him Tom showing his indifference
I would argue that Voldemort is stronger that Dumbledoor he held his own againsrt the later even against the elder wand.
Dumbledore effortlessly duels voldy avoiding his killing curses, even the movies do a good job showing this
Yea but he had the elder wand to help him with that.
I would argue that VOldemort is the strongest in Raw Power Dumboldore had the best Vestitility and Grimwald had the best Charisma and Cunning.
Raw power by itself means nothing when you can be overcomed and out maneuvered
And you would say the HL MC has more raw power.
I'm not sure, would you say it's Canon they got all of the talents?
<@&755190193367023772>
I put AD and GG above LV in power and skill given AD considered GG just slightly less skilled then himself and he never made that claim bout LV and he was calmly winning his duel with LV for most of it minus the one moment were he nearly died to an AK Nagini combo attack while he was able to beat GG while the latter had the EW amping his already insane power which was considered equal to ADs.
I also don't think LV had much versatility in combat at all since he mainly used AK in combat while GG in FB shows more versatility in his dueling style imo.
Yea but did not AD have the Elder Wand during those times I would think that LV was able to have such a close fight with someone as skilled as AD while weilding that wand shows how much raw power his spells have.
He did but I don't think him lacking it would make a difference in that fight. If he can beat GG when the latter was master of the wand, he can beat LV without it aswell imo.
well one could argue that instead of showing how strong AD was it showed how weak GG was?
Spoilers for Isidora's story ||It's so sad that San had to kill her.||
They should of let her cook longer tbh
Even if she still eventually dies
Let us see more results of her work
She took pain away from her dad , and he says thank you showing it worked
Later she took pain from the female keeper with no negative results of doing so
Ontop of the negative results and the bad things she did, it was also working aswell and possible to just remove pain
She
She was literally taking away the emotions from CHILDREN and getting high in the dark magic.
Girl was an addict who deluded herself into thinking she was doing a good thing
But it could of been used for good aswell, her father and the female keeper both show this
Additionally one of the keepers shows great interest in her work in the original memories
Constant paying attention and a slight smile
,,,Did you completely miss the part where we later saw the long-term effects of her dad having NO EMOTIONS LEFT???????
I understand the negative and never denied it
I'm stating the positive aswell,
She contuined to work on her dad when she should of stopped after maybe a few sessions
The female keeper gets pain removed and has no negative consequence
It easily could of been used for good aswell as the evil it was used for
Except it doesn't work that way????? It's a double-edged sword, you cannot take away someone's grief without taking their love as well
It does work that way, don't take it all. As per the female keeper she was fine after Refine the magic
We can't know her work stopped too soon
Her father became a husk
Niamh didn’t have anywhere near the level of pain and Isidora didn’t have the chance to get a big bit like she did to her father.
Of course it didn’t affect Niamh. For one she’s a weirder of ancient magic herself and wasn’t full of pain.
Isidora wasn’t using depression. She was collecting power, getting stronger off what she took and also becoming more mad. The damage she could have done if not killed could have destroyed the Wizarding World,
Magic and using it is highly dependant in emotional state.
If you turn people into emotionless husks, there will be no more maguc
Exactly my point don't take all the pain / refine the magic / let her cook longer so we can see it doing more good instead of mostly bad then kill her
Say you're creating congringo, everytime you cast it you burn your eye brows off
You stop working on it and it's now a known side effect thats the finished spell
She needed more time
She was using the magic in CHILDREN
On her own students no less.
She’s not a saviour and her work wasn’t goid.
Even her own notes have her mention that she had doubts but the rush of power was greater and convinced her it was fine,
Even though it left the patient a husk.
She thought it was fine because she got a rush.
The girl was an addict who was willing to hurt her friends and the children under her care for this delusion of grandeur
I understand it was evil magic and was evil but it could of been used for good
Are you aware multiple things the army used to kill in ww1 and ww2 they turned into designs for household items to help people like a blender, air conditioner, modern cars ect once the war was over? Evil can become good
Say the keepers even kept trying on I don't know criminals or goblins after her death, could of eventually made a cure for depression
You might be thinking omg practice on goblins, but goblin murder is legal in hp
Legal doesn’t mean ethical
Lobotomy is soooo helpful guys!!! /s
Of course not, it's not ethical to practice on animals irl but it still happens
You still suggested it
Like we practice on animals irl a goblin would be a fine Harry Potter equivalent
Actually irl in the modern era most of that level of testing is illegal
It's still done and has been done as late as mid 2000s
A yes
A sapient being that can think and feel and express itself and is self aware vs a sentient being that can’t
Taking into account Harry potter lore a goblin is basically a animal so yes same thing lol
they literally work in finance 0.o
Well, I’d argue that certain animals that have been used in testing could think and feel and express themselves, but not in any way that we would consider to be worthy of our level
This tbh
They're protected from being treated like regular beats because they own the banks
According to… Wizards… who have always thought themselves the ape being of the magical world.
Goblins didn’t ask to be classed as beasts, wizards did that lol
GIRL???????
Yep mid typing this
I didn't know my cat qualifies to be a neuroscientist if goblins = animals
Woooow I should get meow meow a degree so she can work in NASA
Being classified as a beast is being classified as a beast
Goblins aren't classified as 'beasts' actually but go off I guess
Mermaids however are barely a beast, wizards wanted rhem to be beings
Yes being responsible for the money protects them
And not the fact that they can speak multiple languages, including human languages, are able to build, create tools, have a whole society of their own…
Lore is lore you don't have to like it but if I was in Harry potter I could go kill a goblin right now lol
I wouldn’t put it past you
I wonder what they think of people from different ethnic backgrounds irl hmmmm
This is not the defence you think it is
Or have culture and traditions entireky their own.
Like their customs for anything made by goblin hands.
Even the coins they mint are all uniquely marked with a serial number for which goblin minted that exact coin.
But you know
Animals I guess?
using fiction to defend heinous acts is a shield not even harry had in the plot. Also, not canon they are classified as beasts, they are intelligent beings and only racist - supremacists wizards call them beasts because they're meant to be portrayed as DISGUSTING, evil people.
This tbh
Everyday it's a argument , yall clearly need another verbal warning from mods , haven't had one since yall argued with Lilith lol
Well obviously the people that lost due to colonization are only slightly above the beast categorization… being able to enslave dominated peoples is what allows them to not be considered beasts
talk about using jk's lore (and badly) to let out the mud and filth inside 🤣
Funny, I don’t remember arguing with Lilith
Neither do I
Me neither???
Projectus Maximus moment?
At least understand the lore a bit first before you come out with bad takes, right?
Chat logs show you were all arguing with liltih (not ominis or siren)when she tried to give a verbal should I link some messages
Maybe you’re confusing us with someone else, but I didn’t argue with her. I don’t remember them arguing with her, either
It's about time for their weekly verbal warning to stop arguing snd block who you don't like lol
Yeah man I never argued with Lilith
In fact, if any of us had been nasty with Lilith, she would have given us a warning or a mute
Projectus Maximus moment
It’s 3am and I should be in bedddd
Letting the dog out
Then it’s blanket burrito time because it’s bloody freezing in the UK tonight
I just double checked and goblins are def classified as being in HP. which makes sense because it would be crazy to be like, ohh I have a chicken manage my money 😆
Actually a chicken’s not a bad idea
the warned you too, dont at like you're not the toxic guest of the month 🤷♀️ your passive aggressive false innocence doesnt surprise me though
Since any beast can do it
they just using fake lore to project xD heavy
As I've said they are responsible for the money that's what saves them, as stated many time in the books they are expandable
Literally she stated it in public for everyone involved, but that’s neither here nor there
Expandable??? Do they just balloon out???
your goldfish is currently handling my 401k
Too much helium 😔
I think she was attempting to spell 'expendable'
He is telling you to consider rolling it over to a Roth IRA
No it was a pun
I meant expandable lol
Fun fact! Centaurs specifically requested to be classed as Beasts because they didn’t want to be put in the same category as dark creatures like Vampires,
Goblins still get treated like beasts despite the fact they’re classed as beings, have magic of their own and are highly intelligent on par with humans
She was, but I’m highkey obnoxious
he’s a financial genius
Inflatus lol
Goldfish, am I right???
yesssss
All wizards need to do is take the banks over and they can get demoted to beasts officially
Ohohoh there it is!
Not without a war breaking out lmfao?????
someone read the books and decided to only see and remember what the supremacist evil wizards think and say 😂(maybe it's the only part that resonated) gotta google what point of views are in story telling...
I mean, I love how you’re still harping on that despite all evidence to the contrary of them being actually civilized beings in their own right
That's the only part they can resonate with apparently
I can literally source and site direct lines from the books do yoy ever get tired of being wrong lol
She gootled it, and it came back HEIL
GIRL
YOY
LMFAO
Like
There’s a reason there have been so many attempted goblin rebellions lol
And it’s not because of the goblins themselves but the Wizarding folk constantly oppressing them
Yeah
thank you siren x D
Apparently to the Batgirl, oppressing minorities is a good thing
HELLO???????
Same principles applies
because fictional evil people in JK's story, that you're not supposed to like or agree with, say so
The evil people are meant to show you who you don’t want to be
Literally the protagonists always fight for inclusivity and equity
Something tells me we really don't want to know Batgirl's current stance on Jo's attitude towards certain people nowadays
"Because the bad people were rich and powerful, we gotta emulate them even if they're racist discriminatory tools amirite?" - Batgirl Logic
This is a fictional not real world and universe were fans of/ in a discord group for minimum it in no way correlates to irl stuff lol
lol
Wizards have been oppressing every non human creature since forever
It’s not just goblins.
It’s at a point where despite human and non human races being able to crossbreed (vampires, Veela, giants and goblins being immediate examples) the resulting being is considered a filthy half breed by many
Attitude has a way of translating into the real world
Yall bordering on breaking rule 1 and needing a mod ping here lol
I literally tackle this in my own fanfic kfjhsjfksd
remember to use "lol" at least twice in every sentence, so everyone knows you're a passive aggressive in denial
*lol
Lmao
Yes
Around these parts we call that being an edgelord… lol
we do not talk about fight club?
Regardless hp lore is fake and just hp lore
Isadora could of optimized her magic farther on goblins or beasts
This does not correlate to yeah practice on minorities irl
Could have*
But you are arguing this within the confines of the fictional universe and its morality
It’s giving… ravenclaw lololol
It would give slytherin to be evil for the greater good actually lol
Sorry I got confused considering the slytherin is giving you a lesson in morality and ethics lmao
Only everything we know about her experiments over the years tells us the opposite.
Isidora was addicted to the rush of dark magic, she needed more and more and convinced herself that taking away the worlds pain (and every other emotion) is a good thing and she gets all the dark magic juice boxes she wants
<@&755190193367023772> hey just a ping to check out this chat, they dogpiling and the occasional insult such as what this ping is attached to
Love how that's the message you decide to attach your ping to
I was waiting for another insulting message, unfortunately you sent it, sorry
I teach a pilates class 🤸♂️
Imagine arguing that lobotomy is humane and a good thing to do for people. They won't have to feel pain at all if they can't feel anything! It's like a doctor deciding to euthanize you for having a common cold
Wow, slytherin is so wholesome ✨
Well… in general lol
But it could mean so much for the expansion of the field of medicine! -This girl, apparently
It's not time to ping mods yet the insults have been very light you have to wait for somthing worse to be said
I have to give credit, batgirl at least has a spine ✨
“Are you depressed? You may need lobotomy!”
A lobotomy is just a lil noodle stir, nbd
True but irl lots of things used to kill is changed into things in household objects so if another keeper took the jdea of her magic over it could of been used for good
doctors hate this one trick
Just a little tap and a wiggle and all that silly depression will fall right out.
Just don’t mind all the other side effects.
Ignore the fact we could just break the wrong bit of the brain and make you 100x worse,
OMG SIGN ME UP.
baaaaaaabe, get the neck towel, I’m gonna be drooling for a bit afterwards!!!
"Being a living vegetable isn't so bad! You might be a zombie but hey at least you are still alive! Side effects are not covered by your insurance. Terms and conditions applied," - Isidora Morganach's Clinic Ad be like
It’s fine! I don’t really need my pineal gland for anything important anyway!
If you used a blender or air conditioner that's the irl equivalent of what could of happend if another keeper took over on isadoras work, somthing good from bad
Who needs a brain anyway?? It’s 2024, I can just download it to this super cool pc and think from there
That's actually semi possible btw
We can become AI? Poggers let's do it
WATCH ME HACK INTO MY FBI AGENT’S DEVICES
SEE HOW WELL HE IGNORES ME THEN WHEN IM LIVING IN HIS PHONE
Finally
Ascension
Oh right.. yes… an opportunity to improve oneself and not stalk their fbi agent… yes…
Lololol

Give him a taste of his own medicine
Watch the watcher

Me, watching, and then typing across his screen I like the blue on you better
Your background is nice. Very organised desktop

@deep cypress are the white embleshed gloves even in the loot pool I've been shop resetting for 5h now
They are. I’ve gotten them from chests before.
The loot pool is pretty big and RNG can be a cruel mistress
Ah jeez, ok
