It is true that Seb being sent to Azkaban is never explicitly mentioned in the game, but I think there are a few main reasons that people think he goes there

1. In the books, imprisonment in Azkaban is the punishment for using any of the unforgivable curses (yes yes, you can talk all you want about the MC hitting everyone with Crucio and getting off scot-free)

2. Ominis outright says that we “may never see Seb again” if we turn him in, implying he likely won’t be living at home either, and wherever he goes, he’ll be there for a long, long time

From my research, Azkaban is the only prison in the Wizarding World, but if he were being sent there, one would think Ominis would've just said it outright. Maybe he was just scared to think of the possibility, but I don't really buy it, since he was the one to suggest turning him. I can't really find anywhere that says Azkaban takes teenagers, either.

Seb may get released or sent to another prison due to his age and the circumstances behind it, but he also has use of dark arts in general and Inferi control on his list of crimes which don't have any circumstances behind their use that could be used to lessen his punishment.

But Seb's use was a case where he killed his uncle and he can't apply self-defense to it and Seb was using dark magic and his uncle was trying to stop him doing it for some time.

Yeah, im also wondering if theres any way of aplying self defense to a situation, like if your being chassed are you allowed to use an unforgivable. The NPCs seems pretty forgiving regarding your use of them in the game, but im not sure if its really lore accurate. And regarding the justice system, i guess in it's eyes your not even supposed to know how to cast them so no matter the circumstances, your guilty for even being aware of how to cast it

I like the current implementation of the UC, it feels like given the scope of game and the time they developed it in it felt right as well as the first new Hogwarts style game in a very long time. They'll be able to see the reactions, discussions, and hopefully if there is a sequel perhaps that will come more into it.

I did have a fun idea though last night of a Hogwarts Duelling Club game for the switch, where you use your joy con as the wand and press buttons/move it certain ways to cast spells and you could play solo, couch co op or multiplayer

The thing that I love about your character in Hogwarts legacy is that you can either choose to be the hero of Hogwarts, or the true villain yes I know Rookwood and Ranrok are the actual villains but you have bested them so that leaves only you. Hear me out, we learned the unforgivables for our own selfish needs, whether you wanted to for another reason, deep inside you did it because you wanted to. We have most likely killed more people than the actual villains did regardless if you use the unforgivables or any other spell. In the end you took the pain simply because it was power, if you choose the other option to use it to help others, its a excuse to use it regardless if your character knows that or not. In the end you went to the dark path purely because it was an option or speaking for the character, it was a opportunity to learn new spells, to become stronger. The ancient magic you have is extremely powerful and with a high level you can bring the downfall of Hogwarts if you wanted. (which we don't obviously) I'm probably leaning this rant towards my personal storyline but I think in the end you can become the actual villain who fooled the people to loving you as the hero.

But when I was a kid in my collège (11 years old?) I was in the '' House '' of Saint-Exupéry..

Everyone is responsible for their own actions, regardless. Sebastian is subject to similar conditions as Harry - dead parents, living with aunt/uncle who are bitter. It is the different choices they made that defined them, not their upbringing. Yes, we can all make mistakes, and we all hope for redemption, but in the game context, our characters should have had the choice to follow Sebastian, stop him, or disassociate from him before that encounter.

Finished the game and gonna level up to 34 to officially end it. Fig passed on but I sent Sebastian off. Yes his life is hard and his uncle wasn’t the greatest but felt like he crossed a line.

always make sure you have 25 wiggenweld potions

I ended up running around at the start for like 10-20 mins before I figured out that I had to hit the bubbles with its coloured spells lol

I mean you can one shot infamous foes with a nice little combo

The thing is though it was Sebastian casting crucio and he got it to work but I doubt it was as strong as a literal dark wizard casting it (I know I worded this terribly I am exhausted)

I haven't casted imperio once on Ominis and I always seem to forget that that's an option

I've done like 6 playthroughs and I'm on this 7th playthrough rn with 99% trophy completion technically I should have 100% with a platinum now but one of the trophies were bugged on my last playthrough

it pains me to see 602/603 conjurations completed

so basically what I gotta do now is do another save and 100% it and complete all those collections again bc one of the butterflies weren't working

If you complete the puzzle like seconds and see if she keep saying that...

there's the one side quest where you place the bells up in the music room , then there's another where you have to return / destroy Ferdinand's frame

the first one you have to do so she already will complain about it , but I don't know what happens if you either return Ferdinand's frame back to the three broomsticks instead of destroying it
