Ya I felt his death more than fig
agree, it was just something abt the eyes and the trust
Sheesh
Thought I could save Fig by doing only good choices in the story, sad to see I still can't
Yeah I wish rhere was different endings
There is, but only small difference nothing amazing
yeah.. nothing rlly changes besides that creepy scene lol
I think only different ending is if you chose to keep the secret of the power, or use it with that creepy scene like you said x)
Toob's death is the one that impacted me the most, despite not seeing how it happened
Lodgok's death felt stupid because of how he brought the journal to Ranrok and Fig's death is forced (Besides I saw it coming because even before his death, whenever I solve a spiral ancient magic thingy the MC says "If only Fig was here to see it")
Who is toob
Friend of Deek
Oh is the dude who died in the cave or whatever
Yes, kinda sad if you read the story and the notes!
Didn’t really care about it cuz we didn’t even know him
Don't even know why Lodgok brought the journal into the cave when he's trying to destroy the drill. He obviously knew that he might not come back out alive and had no idea if he would run into us.
Ya bro could have brought it to the 3 broomsticks
expelled = azkaban?
talking about Sebastian
why no professor garlick at the end of the avengers assemble scene?
He get expelled and then awiats trial at the magisterium. Will likely end in azkaban though
I wanted her to throw out like 50 cabbages
But we don't know it yet. We only know he will face Magisterium
I dont know, but I think only the ex-ministery of magic peeps show up by the looks of it, Shah, Kogawa and Howin arent there either
Use of unforgivable curse and murder of his uncle. Most likely he'll be deemed guilty and sent to azkaban.
true! Im just saying that me personally think it will likely end in azkaban, but we dont get a difinitive answer to that
Thought it was clearly written, had to test it. Seems like we don't really know but he will most probably end there yea
Can he end there that young tho?
it truely sucks you cant "save" anne through sebastians quests
holding out hope we get a second game that will continue her story!
welll not everything has a fairytale ending
Don't think wizarding world has some kind of juvenile court for minors
maybe they will send him to mungos for a psychological investigation / treatment
give him a second chance later
i want seb and I vs the entire wizard world in hogwarts legacy 2
Doing hog warts side quest after main story just exploring is such a nice feeling
I’m missing two side quests and I have no idea what they are. Lol.
I have the well and manor treasure ones, which seem to be the ones that gets missed. 🤷🏻♀️
I finished the main story with the evil ending and it felt weird
My character chose to claim the power but in the end he sealed it? I thought he’s going to consume it all lol or maybe for safekeeping? Then just lie to the prof where it is hidden. Guess the good ending is the canon one 🤔
He's one of the more popular characters. I think they will bring him back somehow if they decide to do a sequel. I doubt the sentence to Azkaban will happen in that case.
One of the big issues I’ve come across, is that I keep missing chests, like the one in the snidget dungeon
You can always check your completed quests in the pause menu and then cross reference them with a online list of all the side quests to see what you missed
You need to use revelio alot more 😂😂😂
That doesn’t do crap, considering even in the relic tomb, there’s just this whole gate that’s inaccessible.
The snidget one has a crate you’d think you’d use to climb up to get to the chest, but no.
Just had the death of fig spoiled for me
Thats all i know but the amount of times i have seen that spoiler posted it makes me so angry
Why are you on the "Story-Spoilers" channel and complaining about people spoiling things for you?
It wasnt spoiled from this server
This server has been good with big spoilers, some people dont realize something is a spoiler tho and drop it in general
If you don't want further spoilers, I would get out of this channel. We are free to talk about any spoilers here for those who have completed the game.
I dont care at this point, fig dieing is the big moment of the game i assume as him and sebastian are the only characters i care about
the fact that you face zero consequences for essentially assisting in the murder of Sebastians uncle is wild to me. It was such a good story up until that point but anything to do with dark arts gets hand waved away.
They ran out of time to do multiple endings
Honestly he had it coming and I don't even like Sebastian all that much.
I haven’t gotten the book yet, but I’m sure the makings of Hogwarts legacy must have something detailing that.
Sebastian is deliberately manipulative. But I absolutely hate the Uncle.
Yes
Flawed characters are fine, he was obsessive about his goal and wound up facing consequences. But we just... walk away and its only brought up during the ceremony then done.
Fig’s death was disappointing anyway, if you choose to open the container. I only saw him get hit and that was it, but there’s an extra scene or whatever if you choose the good option
sebastian is by far my favourite char in HL
I can forgive Sebastian because he is a child.
But I cannot forgive a grown man for projecting all his own hate, fear and frustration onto a literal 15 year old whom he is responsible for and who is in an extremely vulnerable state.
I thought it was dumb Harlow didn’t die but Rookwood did. I used Avada Kedavra on him too.
Dark Arts are like drugs, you can't just tell people not to use them and expect them to just listen. You have to properly educate people.
I feel like I enjoyed the game the most when I didn't think about the story
Yeah and the lines were blurred between wanting to help Anne and just wanting to explore the Dark Arts. He justified it to himself but I think it's dubious at best.
I think the unforgivable spells should have had more consequences in this game
The whole using ancient magic to remove Anne’s pain seemed to also have been abandoned after the uncle’s death? Cause it wasn’t even brought up at all to the keepers like Sebastian requested.
Yo yeah it was totally ditched and I thought i accidentally took a wrong story path and got the bad ending because of it
Like, I used them all the time and only enemies took actual note of it, I'd have loved it if someone actually told you to stop using them or whatever
I'm curious if Sebastian did actually remove Anne's curse by sacrificing his Uncle in the catacombs. Would be a DLC or sequel plot twist
He would have needed the prism thing for that I think
👀 someone mentioned it earlier but I’m wondering if it get removed when we killed rookwood
yeah I felt like they kinda left that to interpretation? We get to speak to ominis/sebastian but they don't mention if anne is actually better now
Tbh the end of the game felt like I was just finishing the prologue of a much bigger story. Not just the Main Story but Sebastian's as well.
Only Natty's and Poppy's really felt like they were finished, but even they could easily reopen into different adventures against Dark Wizards/Poachers in the future. I'm fairly sure they at least have a sequel in mind.
And (hopefully) at least have a draft of where that would lead.
I really hope this game just gets a season 2 at some point, it'd be really cool
It has to. The choice at the end of the main story felt like the adventure was just beginning. Either siding with the Keepers or Isidora and to continue down their respective paths.
I don't get it tho, maybe I have to rewatch the films/reread the books but wasn't the OWL's the graduation test for wizards? and apparently at the end of the main story we did those?
The OWLs are for 5th year students, but there is still years 6 and 7 with NEWTs being the final exam in 7th year
ah
yeah I read those books long ago and the films too, I'm not super knowledgeable on harry potter stuff, thanks
Why can’t we change our wand, when we get the Keepers’ wand? 😩
So this wand was a 1 time use, in the game and then you have it in your inventory, but you can’t equip it.. 😭😔
I'm guessing years 6 and 7 will be sequels.
I hope if it will be a sequel then we can atleast import our character
I'm sure that would be an option. Similar to Mass Effect.
In fact, I think it probably will be a trilogy. Someone mentioned in one of the streams apparently a dev said "Hogwarts Legacy 2" before correcting himself - but unsure how accurate that is.
anyone else thinks its kinda weird how big the world map is but almost no main quest stories lie in the lower half of the map except maybe 1 or 2 quests?
its all like filler side quests
I mean if it took 4 years just to make the story we have now with dozens of gaps that shouldve been filled not filled then think how long it will take for them to make a good 2nd or 3rd game
I think the time was more about the technical aspects of the game as opposed to the narrative ones.
Also considering most of the foundation is already there (Castle/Surrounding area) they would probably not need a lot of time for a sequel compared to if they were making it in a completely different area. Ofc I could be wrong.
Well rather than a sequel i would rather they just fix the holes in the story and add game modes like duels/multiplayer/quidditch
I mean if modders can do all that theyve done already in a week i dont see why a team couldnt
I don't think they'll make changes to the story tbh. Also just because there are some shortcomings in one game, doesn't mean they should give up on a sequel all together. Usually the shortcomings are addressed in a 2nd game.
No but id rather save another 60 pound and just have them make 1 perfect game than 2 mid ones
I'd rather them do a proper multiplayer then half butted and tacked on
Dont think they will do multiplayer
Nope
Can anyone help me? Im losing my mind. Ever since the update my game has been runnig smooth. Now im fighting ranrok and it glitching and super slow all of the sudden. I cant save while in battle and restart but i cant do this like this idk what to do
maybe, close program and alter your graphics settings in the startup menu. that ranrok fight is pretty heavy
the autosave should have saved before the fight
So is Anne dying or is she just always in pain?
His uncle destroyed the relic before he even died so I really doubt Anne is okay. I just never understood if she’s Dying or if she’s always in pain
Can the curse be reserved by killing ||Rockwood||?
I’m not sure. Hopefully that’s the case but I don’t see why it would be that simple
It wasn't said even after finishing the questline. But I need to know 😭
I dont think curses are reversed by the caster dying
No it’s not
You can do the curses after the rookwood fight so Ann is still sick
So it's all for Nothing lol
Some spells and charms are lifted when the caster die
It’s too bad ancient magic didn’t really wind up being anything more powerful. I haven’t collected all of the hotspots yet, but I figured it was going to be a bigger deal.
wdym a bigger deal, you wipe the floor with big bad evil wizards like rookwood as if theyre little babies and ur like 15 years old 💀
Yeah. I kinda expected we would learn spells that were actually ancient magic instead of just the finishers we got. Don't get me wrong. They're brilliant but I can't help but expect more from magic that's supossedly able to fiddle with the universe itself on a grander scale than regular magic.
That
I picked the choice to release the dark magic into the world, and have been doing side-stuff to get 100%. I'm wondering, did choosing to do that change anything compared to being a keeper of the forbidden magic?
Not a thing. Wish it did. Like giving your character unlimited ancient magic meter if you chose to take it's power or reduced spell cooldown if you chose to keep it sealed.
Hahaha, whaat? 😅
Honestly we didn't even have much knowledge about ancient magic after finishing the story. We know it's a thing and part of what it can do, but not what it is. The keeper's goal is just to ignore it until it is not a problem anymore.
That's pretty much what I gathered too, then wondered what the intention was behind creating the Ancient Magic (the story writers), I'd be disappointed if this isn't expanded upon
Wasn't impressed by the story. Just another "Hero with unique innate ability save the day, mentor figure dies" story.
I'd rather have more in-depth school life like house cups, curfew, sneaking into restricted section of the library not as a one-off quest but on a daily basis.
And relationship/friendship building, brining friends/companion onto adventures
Yeah, being the only kid with the ability to see and use ancient magic is a mary/gary sue trope
Yea no. Don't believe that one bit
And makes our character rather isolated from the other students, but it's understandable why no relationships or romance arcs were created
I think there is no romance stuff because our characters are still very young.
Facts
im 8 hrs into the game how much longer for hippogriff mount?
@void otter I was asking how long it takes to get hippogriff mount
You just have to keep playing
alr
oh not much longer just pay attention to poppy
alr ty
Yeah this isn't Rockstar were talking about. Causing the gay boys in Bully to fight eachother in the hallway because your male character kissed one.
How's the game so far for y'all
It's a masterpiece for me 😍
you need to do the main story quest with onai
Hard agree
@kindred walrus this is your channel
Ight i managed the fight
I'm crying over fig
Hi everyone. Not sure if this is the right channel/section to ask this question. What happens if during "character creation" you choose "witch(gender) and wizard(dormitory) or vice versa"?
I did like the story but as you said a more school life story would of been more amazing similar to the bully game!
most interactive part of the game is petting cats and spinning globes
Lol the cats meow like they are sick
I’m stuck on this trial quest and you’ve got to go to this coast place far away and try kill this dragon looking thing but it’s so hard anyone got tips
I can’t even use curses
You need to stay far away, keep avoiding his attacks, use the items around you to throw them at him, have patience and don't rush
ok but can i just say the art in the third trial, no matter how glitchy, was just chefs kiss I mean for how the game has been so far on ps5 and how they did the deathly hallows in the movies i think that they did pretty cool
You're not wrong I loved that quest
I mean my hair went through the basin at the end of the quest, and you kinda knew right away with the art style what it was going to be, but it was a nice shift
Most definitely
Question: If we don't turn Sebastian in... where will he go at the end of the school year? Home to the uncle's house that is full of bad memories? Living there all by himself with just 15 years? 🧐
Or will he join us in the Orphanage 🥲
Plot twist, he is our brother
I really wanna know xD where will he go. Where will we go? Back to the Orphanage, not speaking about magic for the rest of the (every) summer? Dang.
with the ancient magic i think you are far beyond a normal student, you are the new keeper, you either absorbed it and are going to be busy using it, or you need to be near it at hogwarts and keep it safe. im sure the ministry will also want to have a word with you seeing as they knew you had ancient magic affinity and sent you to hogwarts for that reason. and as a top g boss in the wizarding world you can bring along your friend seb who totally didn't kill anyone and is completely innocent
I agree! Seb did nothing wrong!!
If by "nothing" you mean "kill his uncle, use every unforgivable spell, uses a dark magic book and relic" then I agree too, he did nothing wrong
Killed a civilian* not like he is evil or trying to kill. The uncle I mean
But yes, completely
It was all for good intentions tho
It was Solomon's fault for not saying the safe word :v
So? Tell me that, rob a bank and say your intentions were good by giving to the poor. Does work that way
That’s just Robin Hood lol
:v
In all fairness, if Ominis and our character hadn't gotten involved when we did, then Sabastian likely would've gone down a path of no return.
Sabastian seemed determined to do it by himself. He'd find someone else
We didn't push him
Fr classic slytherin determination
However, we were involved.
I meant that if Ominis and us didn't stop him when he started using the relic, then he probably would've just gone full bad guy. Sabastian's a good kid, but his desperation was forcing him to make some bad choices.
Facts
Do u think the relic could have saved Ann
He still did what he did when there were many different ways to do it. He used imperio and scared his sister in a brutal way
He tried all the different ways already tho and none worked
It was probably a monkey's paw of a sort. It would've ended the curse, but it may have replaced it with something worse. That, or Sabastian would've been corrupted by it.
He definitely didn't have to force a goblin to cut his own throat right in front of Anne, now did he
:(
the way you say this so nonchalantly makes me laugh
I mean he didn't have to do anything. The fact is, Sabastian had power to help his sister by any means necessary, and he believed that he needed to. To Sabastian, results are what mattered most because he was desperate to save his sister.
I'm not blaming him for using the curses, I'm blaming him for HOW he used them
🤣
And him using Imperio in such a cold blooded fashion showed that he was making a mistake by going down this path. His flippant use of Unforgivable Curses was causing him to let go of his humanity, making these brutal acts easier for him.
Oh I know the intention the devs were making. It worked
Bro is anakin
Sabby to me, is the start of a mad man with access to the dark arts
More or less, yeah. Sabastian definitely represented the Slytherin determination taken to the extreme. When left unchecked, it can turn to an obsession, which means more and more compromises become acceptable.
he could have used any other spell to idk, push the goblin away, accio, etc
@summer igloo not at all, Anakin had Palpatine bsing hin 24/7, Sebastian does it all on his own
It's why I like Ominis so much. Despite him being the "purest" of the Slytherin, he puts his determination into ensuring his friend doesn't go down the wrong path.
Hallo, I rejected all 3 Cursed Spells and finished almost all of the story is there any chance for me to get the Spells now?
I went to the Guard of the cursed spells place and Sebastian wasnt there can anyone pls help?
Sabastian can teach you curses you don't know in the Undercroft after you finish the story.
if you sent him to Azkaban he's gone, otherwise he's in the undercroft
I went there he wasnt there
Fr! I stood by and said why did u not use Expelliarmus?! Why expose us lmaooo
Is this confirmed
I didn't turn him in, and he was there to teach me Avada Kadavra.
Not for me ...
Thats why we Ravens and Slyths get along lol
I just have 1 last mission and thats to get 34 to win the School thing and thats it
Once you have the little memorial for Fig, Sabastian will be in the Undercroft after he talks to you.
I said no one should learn those spells, got to the undercroft and learnt it, then yeeted him to Azkaban... like Palpatine would say: For a safe and secure society
I mean they are very similar tho anakin wants to save padme and Sebastian wants to save Ann
Welp let's not forget that Dumbledore my killed his own sister. At least he was involved tho.
Dumbledore isn't a bad guy too but he did some bad stuff as well.
yes, but the death of Padme, and his mother was staged, and he had Palpatine corrupting him for 10 or so years
idk brother I just cant get those spells
The difference is that Ankin was considered evil :p
Still doesn’t change the fast they are alike in many ways
I know
Well then maybe he just doesn't teach them to Gryffindor. lol
Lmao that would be insane if u couldnt learn them due to ur house
Why reject when you want to learn?
I haven't learned any of the curses, just in case it becomes relevant in an addon.
I thought it would effect maybe the Story line and I didnt want that
I thought it would change the story too but oh well
Maybe if you reject all of them they just don't become available.
I learned them lorewise "just incase". Like, even Harry resorted to use Imperio in the last book
I played too much kotor to know i can use the dark sides powers with a good guy play through so it was instant dark magic for me
lol I'm glad I'm not the only Kotor fan using Kotor logic in this game. 😂
Kotor system wouldve been perfect for this game. Hopefully sequel will have something like that
I wish
ME3s system is much superior to Kotor imo
it's almost like the same studio made it
Did anyone else find the final boss a huge let down? Boring and repetitive for a final boss fight
my point was why should they use an inferior system when there's a better one
the whole game is to easy
idk, he didn't survive me pressing LB+RB 3 times
I finished main story and 60% side quests in 1 1/2 days
That's more or less how most bosses go down for me. Maxima Potion plus two or three Ancient Magic attacks.
the biggest let down is that gear scales too well and you're just op by that point
Is there anything to do after finishing side quests and main story?
What mode?
I had Sebastian teach me Avada then suggested to turn him in
Map exploration, challenge completion, and Room of Requirements.
didn't even use potions
@arctic surge hard
I have like 7% map exploration
Get to exploring then
2nd pensive fight was a lot more interesting because of the adds
Then you must've done 0 side quests then. lol
93% Quests and Map 11%
Ooooh! That makes more sense. lol
Yeah, in that case, I'd say Room of Requirements and challenge completions are your only real activity left in the game.
I have like 2 more side quest to do and im pretty sure it involves the stars and Merlins challenges
I just want those 3 Spells xD
every professor appearing felt like ME2s suicide mission, but without the good buildup to that
lol then I guess you better make a new character who don't give a damn about no morals. haha
Agreed, the ending was definitely rushed. I'd assumed the relationship quests would've factored in to who your allies were, but they basically just amounted to an unceremonious pat on the back from Weasley.
It still baffles me that we didn't get a relationship quest from Ravenclaw.
Its okay @distant lintel you and me talking about kotr is the relationship quest between our houses
lol I always figured Slytherin and Ravenclaw interactions would result in debating random nerdy topics.
But yeah, outside of Amid and that one trouble maker with the glasses, there aren't really any Ravenclaw students that you bond with. And even then, I can't exactly say that the two I mentioned were all that spectacular to be around. One got you in trouble and the other just kept complaining the whole time.
Spoiler for anybody curious, you have to actually play as all four houses to the point where you find the map chamber in order to platinum the game
Oh, you don't have to beat the game?
I just finished niam quest, when will i get avada?
You can get any curses you don't have in the Undercroft from Sabastian once you finish the msq.
just finished it! 10/10 honestly
I feel like the ending was a bit rushed and ended with too many loose ends for my liking. I'm not unsatisfied with the journey, but I definitely hope we get story expansions in the future.
Is the quest name in the shadow of mountain?
agreed, or maybe a part two but added onto the game where no second purchase of a pt.2 game
i get what you mean, i was really hoping to finding a cure for Anne
Also I was anticipating for Isidora to be way more relevant than she ended up being. Plus we have no clue about why we're gifted with Ancient Magic or what that all entails for us. Then you have loose ends for all the relationship quests (plus no Ravenclaw relationship) and it feels like a very solid Part 1 of a story.
yeah i want to know where my parents are hahah
Has anyone actually turned in Sebastian? People were complaining about there being no consequences, but this article claims he gets expelled.
He does get expelled and you lose out in future interactions up to that point
Yeah, if you turn him in he get arrested off screen. I didn't turn him, but I'm glad I didn't since arresting him is super underwhelming.
It also wouldn’t allow him to learn the truth that it wasn’t a goblin but a dark wizard who cursed Anne
No, Ominis tells you that he was allowed to speak with him before he got taken away, and he told Seb that it was Rockwood
In any case Seb will end up hating both Goblins and Dark Wizards
Thanks Felicia I just assumed that scene would be omitted. I never turned him in and actually saved the progress on another slot cuz I’m too much of a seb simp. It makes sense Ominis shows up to take his place in that scene after the eulogy
No
Idk why some people snitched on Sebastian when he didn’t snitch on you at the library
I also have no idea why someone would do that
People will say he was sussy from beginning but also let him teach you curses 🤦
yeah.. in my opinion he is the best written character in the whole game
how so?
Snitches get stitches
do you mean me? ^^
yes
Well from my point of view Sebastian is the only one friend who really has character development and is also in a morally grey area in his story. You even get to know his family. I didnt have that connection at all to Natty or Poppy (even though the quests with Poppy are fun and she is lovely) but I feel like our character is really a friend of Sebastian, he gets involved into the main story a lot and you cant help but feel sorry for him and also torn between him and Ominis.
Its not always just black and white like we used to know the Harry Potter universe, I think it gives a good glance at the dark magic, which he tries to use to do something good. Of course he gets on the wrong path but there are many factors who play into it -> the desperation to fine a cure, the obsession with dark arts in general, the harsh reactions of his uncle, who doesnt even try to understand him and the helplessness of Ominis
I am not sure the uncle never tried to, you only know that Sebastian never accepted his answer to it
coupled with a few other traits you see as the story unfolds he actually has a quite dark/shady character, not actually grey
I agree because, it seemed like our character really wanted to be friends with Sebastian and was showing more personality with him than with other characters. Like there's one mission where the character is basically upset with him lol
also I think you didn't listen to the small conversations after the classes he has, they're quite telling about his character and intentions
Adding Seb into the main story was good. It’s too bad Poppy and Natty didn’t get as much involved. I really want to know more about those two.
It was wishful thinking on my part I’d get a Suicide Mission (like in ME) where all my friends come together to help me stop Ranrok and do whatever with the Repository. I mean the teachers were cool but it would have felt so much more like the story I had in my head had it been my friends.
Anyway, Sebs story with the Triptych and Relic was well written and for me was way more enjoyable than the main story plot.
Well right in the first scene with his uncle, he is yelling at him for trying to make his sister happy, like a little present, even if it was in hopes of a cure, the guy is 15. He is a child. His uncle is yelling at him, not even saying hello, nothing. And then blames Sebastian for his sister having pain from the curse. Then blames him because he is his fathers son. I get his frustration with Sebastian, but he is the adult, he should know better. He even brings a friend and the uncle has the nerve to blow up at him. Its his sister after all, more precisely, his twin.
It was wishful thinking on my part I’d get a Suicide Mission (like in ME) where all my friends come together to help me stop Ranrok and do whatever with the Repository.
the dialogue at the start of the game hints a lot towards you having a lot more interactions with your classmates, and actually goes into the direction of "it would be good if you befriend some, otherwise bad stuff might happen"
THIS ^
Yes! And Sebastian is upset with our character. It feels like a real friendship. Yes it gets dark, yes is pretty unfair to Ominis and also to us. But its a highly emotional situation. What I dont like its that people tend to think he is sus in the beginning because he is Slytherin. Heard that a few times tbh. Like, people just expect bad things from Slytherin students. And I dont like it :D
Yah when we started arguing with him and there was a small clash. I really enjoyed that.
Hell yeah! I was just saying that to a friend today - I wish we would have had a mission with ALL our friends. Because as we can see in Harry Potter, Harry is truly strong only with the support of his friends!
I know right not all of us are jerks lol but yeah, I loved that story with him and I really hope in the future we'll be able to help Anne or at least hear more about that story.
What I dont like its that people tend to think he is sus in the beginning because he is Slytherin. Heard that a few times tbh. Like, people just expect bad things from Slytherin students. And I dont like it 😄
start a new game and actually listen to him after the first few classes. he is NOT a nice guy
Yeah because with the other friends its always just happy and almost a bit shallow? Like I want emotions in a relationship
Well now that the sequel is pretty much safe, I really hope so too! We got to know all our friends and now they can build up on that!
I keep seeing the 6th year and 7th year rooms and I’m like… future sequel?
I am on my second playthrough and know pretty much every interaction with him. ^^ I also dont want him to be a nice guy, we have plenty of that in Hogwarts and they are all shallow. I got the impression that he is very loyal, once you are his friend. There was no need for him to cover us. Yes, he said he likes his friends to be in his debt, I saw it as a joke and he never brings it up again.
Facts
Hopefully! The whole story has so much potential!
not just interaction with you, but dialog between others which you can just listen to
Oh, what interactions do you mean exactly? I am interested to listen to your point of view (:
like for example after your first charms class he talks with Ominis about accioing people around, and there are a few others, all kind of "oh he's just making weird comments", but the point is if you take them all together the picture of him gets quite dark
Okay, interesting, thats never how I interpreted them actually. I thought the conversation was about him proving a point that Accio actually also works on people, whereas Ominis says No, it would only work because you are using Accio on their clothes. So I thought it was about how Accio works
that's exactly my point, in isolation you can think "oh he's just saying weird stuff", but the frequency and how he acts otherwise do tell you a lot long before you even start his quest line
Well, I think its a fact that he is pretty much into Dark Arts anyway, like he said, people should learn the Dark Arts and how to use them responsibly. I never had the intention that he would use them for pure evil purposes at all. I have to admit though that I felt like the use of AK on his uncle was not necessary. But then I guess it was out of rage / growing hatred but then again... we are talking about 15 year olds. Strangely enough I still just feel bad for him, even after what he did. So no, I did not turn him in. No 15 year old should be in Azkaban anyway. ^^
imperio on the goblin before that was also questionable at best, the only understandable use was crucio in his first quest, because otherwise the 3 would have just starved there
I honestly dont even really care about the goblin. If he just Confringos him or slices him to pieces with Diffindo or smashes him to the ground, or uses Imperio and lets him kill himself, at that point there was no difference. In the end you kill.
If we take that further we could also criticize our character for letting people explode with our Ancient Magic spell or killing dozens of people and animals
Accio or Levioso would have worked as well, sure you kill stuff for gameplay reasons, but for him cutscene wise there wouldn't have been a reason for him to do so
also in the first defense against dark arts thing where you duel him later he tried to Bombarda and completely fumbles it
Yes, there was a choice to use an unforgivable spell, but as how I see it, he does anything to protect his sister. We all killed Goblins before, even Solomon. I get what you mean that it was unnecessary to use an Unforgivable curse but I think that was a scene for character and story development and it kinda makes sense for his character and his intentions. I just wasnt shocked or saw it in a bad way
Thats true, a bit ambitious. Interestingly enough Hecat didnt really care that much ^^
I wasn't shocked myself, it was pretty clear from how his quests were structured, even in the first playthrough, that he'd use it
it was just, in my opinion, irrational
Yeah, okay, I get that!
"In The Shadow of The Mountain" bug
Upon getting to the Troll fight section and defeating the Troll + all the other enemies, it is still prompting me to "Defeat the Troll" as the main objective.
I tried posting this in the game help area, but I'm on cooldown
restarting the quest wont help? I never had that bug so I cant really help I think :/
How do I restart the quest?
Try to die or abandon it
yeah, this
Ahh got it, thank you
If you go to menu and unselect the active quest it will ask if ur sure u wanna abandon
anyone else find it kinda odd we kinda like kidnapped highwing from poppy? Like it seems like poppy and highwing had a bigger connection and we just "rescued" highwing and it feels weird even with poppy's blessing
ye that was odd. I was expecting we could bring poppy to the vivariums
I played the first playthrough with a few friends and we were all like
eh, we just call it poaching instead of "rescuing"
I thought we were bringing highwing to poppy, but I guess they'll never see each other again
Well poppy did say that high wing took to us more than anyone else, which includes her most likely. We did end up telling Poppy that high wing was safe and we were looking after them. It would’ve been cool if a scene would’ve shown us flying in on high wing to a poppy cutscene
Yea, safe in our bag
lol i have high wing in the vivarium and i don’t really take her out unless i’m going to poppy
Just finished the dark magic story line, I hurt now
Im stuck in the Ranrock Dragon Fight, in the last 1/3 of his health. ain't got no healt potions left. if i abandon and restart. where will i restart? at the start of his fight or way earlier? and nothing seems to really do damage except throwing his rocks back at him after doing 3 of those spheres and ancient magic, not even avada kedavra seems to do dmg after removing his shield by striking the spheres. am i missing something?
And a lot of the time my camera will get stuck at him so i cant do the spheres.
you might accidentally press the right stick if you play with a gamepad and target lock
but ya, it's just hit the orbs with the correct color and then shoot the dragon or just ancient magic it, dunno about your gear but for me each use drained a complete phase of the hp bar
completely upgrading your gear, even without runes gives you 3-4x damage easily
im playing on pc with the keyboard. my stats are Health: 1885 Defence: 226 Offence: 296 and everything except for ancient magic seems to do miniscule dmg
I play on pc as well, but with a controller, I don't like how the camera snaps to targets in this game, makes mouse look in fights feel very sluggish
iirc my stats were also around 300 at that point
though enemies do scale with your level
i am level 30
That fight really is all about hitting the colors with the right spells (praise colorblind options). And when he is targetable just unload dmg spells and if you have AM up def spam that. Bursting the last bubble above him should kill him and it starts the cutscene after the last bubble whatever color is broken.
am i missing something for unlocking Sebastian quests? trying to learn imperio and all it says is be lvl 17 to trigger quest but im lvl 19 and dont have any sebastian quests...is there a certain trigger?
Did you finish Main Quest Fire and Vice?
||does anybody know how many more main quests there are after defeating Ranrok? i know the story is fully complete but there still are main quests"||
Two more
Agreed. Use our powers for good and kill lots of house elf masters.
Anyone having a problem with the battle arena not registering on the trophy progress? Stuck in 50%
Yeah. I thought it was kinda strange. At least I thought we'd be able to take her to the room of requirement and show her highwing in a vivarium. Maybe a relationship quest where we both fly on highwing.
my question is whats gonna happen to all those animals in the room of requirement when someone elses uses it?
does poaching die down and they are eventually released? kinda doesnt seem probable as voldy went to the forest and was killing unicorns with ease in the 1st movie
The Room of Requirement is different for different people. So our room and someone else’s room can exist at the same time. So the animals are fine.
so why doesn't every student enter it? wouldn't that be a good way to give everyone their own dorm, study hall, etc?
Not every student can enter it. They need to desire something strongly in order to access it, and even then it may not always work. We got access to it because we were in need of privacy that the house commons couldn’t provide, and we get continued access through by having a shortcut there through Deek.
so technically you or deek eventually let the animals go? or can the room be passed to someone else after you die?
Also the room is secret, it's not like everyone knows how to find it. Hermoine mentions it too, "You found it Neville, the room of requirement!"
It’s likely. The animal handler in Hogsmede buys and cares for animals elsewhere.
i cant explain how much this game brings back so much nostalgia, the amount of fun running around and going to classes, doing achievments, murdering poachers i love it, i just got 45/45 for achievements and it has been a blast, time to start my seconds play through
but did you pet every cat?
Does merlin have a beard?
um wat? on the last quest i select4ed ti wanted to use the power and not have the repository be back?
i wanted to use that red power for myself but my characther still put it in the reporistory
Yeah all it does is show who you are as a player lol. You don't get to use that power nor does it have any real backlash
||after seb kills his uncle and there is the dialogue option where you can choose to say that he took it too far or that everyone should know the spell, I chose the first one and I didnt get to learn avada like the quest said, but then he says to meet him in the undercroft, have I lost my one chance to get the spell or will i get to choose again in the undercroft?||
You will be able to get it afterwards
But that also depends on an option of yours later
I def going to get it next time, I was wanting to get it originally I just didnt realise i chose the wrong answer, thanks for telling me, afterwards I felt so bad thinking I ruined my entire savefile
Yeah I changed my answer after not getting it haha
I think if you don't turn him in at the end of his questline you can still learn the curses.
|| I feel bad for gaslighting him but I had to complete the spell collection ||
I think you can approach it as not gaslighting him at the end, if you don't turn him in and learn them in the undercroft.
I don’t know what ending to get shall I control the bad magic
Me personally I did the good ending lol
Yaaa
the game isn't that long if you don't commit to the collectathon (though you need a certain percentage to win the house cup from what I've seen)
Yeah if I remember right there was only like 34 main quests. But the side quests add up though
most of which are not necessary for the story
grinding through the story until main quest 30 iirc actually makes the game a lot easier and especially faster as well
Yeah when I beat ranrok I was like level 31. I did a bunch of side stuff making myself more powerful before the end
if you don't have access to the loom/not use it the game can be challenging on the first playthrough if you do as much as you can before the main quests
but if you get the loom and upgrade gear you start to faceroll everything
Can't wait to have good ~~mods ~~ updates on pc
I would like to see an update with added difficulties
Currently doing my last few Treasure Vaults and then... Nothing more to do in game 😦
So on rewatching the memories it's apparent that Isidora modified her memory to imagine that her father said "thank you" afterwards when that didn't happen in Charle's memory and the slight "static" in Isidora's probably means hers was the modified one.
Also is it ever expanded upon why the Keeper's destroyed Isidora's portrait? Is it even confirmed that they did? Or are they just wanting to silence her and make sure no one follows in her footsteps?
@knotty pasture @shy herald lol i just did the fight today on my first try after i put only ancient magic enchantments into my equipment. 3x Ancient Magic Attacks and Poooooof 😮
yup
the game def needs higher difficulty levels
replaying the start for the achievements I wish there were more options to take someone with (one from each house)
and that it would actually effect something (sure some dialog is a little different, but not much)
What on earth is boils? There is apparently a potion to cure it
Giant bumps on certain part of the body
In what house does the Azkaban mission happen?
Yes I agree. Added difficulty would be brilliant!
Hufflepuff
Yup Hufflepuff
This is an early quest before encountering the Map Chamber

Hey just a question why are mods disallowed on this game?
It’s against the eula I believe
BISCUIT.... sob sob... what am i suppsoed to do without her ...sob. ...
Its 1 different quest per house. The jackdaw quest that leads you to the map chamber. Gryffindor does the headless hunt like Harry did with Nearly Headless Nick
so two chances to learn it in the same quest? or different quests
Not a quest per say, but if you don't turn sebastian in at the end of his quest you can learn the curses after. I believe.
@marble pivot That is correct
I couldn't remmeber if you refused to learn all of them that he wouldn't teach you any because you stood by them being unforgivable. For me I think the only unforgivable curse is the cruciatus curse
When do we get Christmas decor? It’s winter time where I’m at in the game. I just learned transfiguration and have yet to see the great hall decorated for Christmas
Bro it's been a couple weeks
I’m 40% done cause I’m just messing around with side quests and decoration and I take breaks
I’m going for 100% hufflepuff normal mode, and then 100% on all houses on hard as well
Holy that ps5 exclusive quest was amazing
im jealous of all the ps5 owners. I wanna run around a resident evil mannequin house
Hufflepuff
I haven’t gotten that far yet and I’m done with the main quest line
i think the ps5 exclusive quest released today right?
Honestly no idea, I didn’t know it had a release date for it
i seen a lot of tiktok lives playing it today, thats how I found out about it
I’m playing video games for over 20 years, love RPGs, and this might be the best quest I’ve ever played
making me jealous i see, a true slytherin
ranrok gave me a run for my money lol
Best RPGs I’ve played:
- Hogwarts Legacy
- Xenoblade Chronicles 1-3
- Harry Potter: Chamber of Secrets (Gameboy Color Version)
- Octopath Traveller
I agree that hogwarts legacy is one of the best rpgs
Think about it. Avalanche only did Disney Infinity and some small stuff? - and now they‘re beating records of Rockstar and Square Enix
I know it’s kinda crazy lol
They quest got everything. A horror atmosphere Stephen King couldn’t write better, it’s long, hard, really good bosses, decent plot, a unique gameplay mechanic …and is worth the achievement
not released today but it is like a year exclusive to ps5
uff as an rpg I'd say it's rather weak, esp if one's accustomed to bioware games
It’s definitely better than bladurs gate or mass effect
how so?
Anyone else hoping Professor Weasly becomes our Dumbledore now that 🥹 Professor Fig is gone. Because well he's not gonna be our Dumbledore.
did u never play Nier Automata?
@tribal arrow linking here, who is krypta?
wait its german word, english is crypt
where you learn confringo
that's the dungeon
so wait-- you can learn the 3 curses outside of the story? is that true or misinformation?
true
No if you decide to not learn them
sebastian will teach you after his story depending on your decisions
so yeah its what i feared, you miss your chance, you don't learn them
if you turn him in you won’t be able to learn them if you didnt learn them in tje story
you can find Sebastian in the undercroft to learn the spells up until you yeet him to azkaban
i think i understand
so you dont have to finish his story line first?
is there an option where you don't send him to askaban and stop him from doing the 'unforgivable'
Nope
You can decide if you want to snitch or not but he is evil xd
He will do it always
TT that's sad. i like him. guess it depends how the story goes.
no, you can actually tell him that no one should learn the killing curse, then teleport to the undercroft, learn it, and then tell on him
Wouldn’t call him evil just a teen trying to save his sister who’s going a tad to far lmfao
its not right to be 'evil' for being driven to save your twin sister from a freaking curse
i assume you both know what i mean with evil xd
I am stupid so don’t count on it
i mean technically he is evil since he killed his uncle
Can I say that?
Yeah but his uncle rlly should’ve done better. I get both their sides but ones a hormonal teenager and the other an adult and he sucks at emotional maturity
if you listen to him outside of his story you'll notice that he is not just trying to save his sister, but that he has a bad streak in any case
I think he is, based on all the comments he's doing, they seem fine in isolation, but the amount doesn't paint a pretty picture
Meh I think it’s not right but it’s not like I don’t get where he is coming from
i heard his conversations but nothing scream 'bad or evil'. he's open minded
I would of bet anything that ancient magic could of removed the curse, if i had a chance
or find a way to crack the curse. in the hogwarts legacy universe, if i could-- id have my character be a cursebreaker
Yeah. He’s anti-goblins but it’s understandable since he believes they cursed his sister. Doesn’t make his hatred right or correct in anyway but I don’t think him feeling that way makes him evil especially cuz the ones we fight do fight alongside Ranrok
That anti goblins depends on your decisions
"it be fun to yoink people around with accio, if you're so inclined" (first part not 100% accurate)
"I like people in my debt"
and a few others
Maybe but I feel like it could backfire like with Isadora and the emotions she tampered with
Girl that’s just someone being cunning not evil I’d say
He doesn’t like goblins from the start cuz of his sister. He only changes his mind when you tell him the truth so eh
not really fitting the definition of "cunning", but okay
yeah but certain things you cant. like i may be going out of things here, but i learned from magic and fantasy fiction, curses work under certain rules. "Children should be seen and not heard" was a clue that means she was caused pain whenever she thought of what happened. if you could remove the memory-- perhaps the curse would become benine
yes and you can only tell him the truth if you dont snitch xd
True
and there is a simple solution, the pensives . you could remove the memory and see what she seen without risking the curse
But my ass ain’t snitching on him ever his uncle had it coming should’ve been emotionally matured lmfao (jk doesn’t justify him killing his uncle but yk)
but im going off the deep end with my imagination-- like most ravenclaws do 😛
Ominis will tell him if you do
How does ominis know
He cant because if you snitch sebastian gets lifetime vacation in the holy triangle
I like Omnis too. he's tragic and had to deal with alot, not ot mention blind, but awesome he can sense with his wand
i been honoring omnis' trust despite loyalty to sebastian
Ominis is best boy
You tell him, he then is able to speak with Sebastian one last time before he's carried away
i heard if you snitch sebastian will never change
That’s possible
I mean pretty sure Azkaban would make everything worse cuz dementors
Its the holy triangle
Made jackdaws lover (?) crazy
well i guess i wont know till i get there, but yeah trying hard to know what choices i make and how big impacts there are to story. i do plan to play super good, super bad (or rather semi bad) I don't have the heart to go full dark on my fellow students, i always go the 'im joking' route sometime
Ah yes
Eh your choices don’t impact the story too much
darking slytherin witch who isn't afraid to be tricky and deceptive -- esp for a glasses wearing nerdy girl
he does, he then hates goblins AND dark wizards
So he gets worse
he is a dark wizard himself lol xd
it feels like it does, but i can understand that
Awesome
oh and dont forget the part where one of his best friends snitched on him xd
Sebastian was great but I did it all for Anne tbh
well I just told you what Ominis told the MC what Seb told Ominis
Yes but I don’t think he sees himself as one he just thinks he did what’s necessary but I think you know that so why am I saying this lmfao
yes all good
I just couldn't turn on sebastian. in the restricted section he protected us in our quest for ancient magic... he was deserving of our trust to let him in on it, so i felt
Big oof. Yeah not doing that ever. He ain’t a saint but I like him too much. As I do with ominis. Wished we got more Anne tho the trio seems adorable
He’s a good guy. Just lost his way trying to save his sister
and despite how false hope can not help Anne-- i do believe the magic in hope can overcome dark magic, from a magical theory angle of things. without hope, there is none at all
"I like friends who are in debt" ~Seb ca. 1890 while sneaking into the forbidden section of the library
ROFL
That’s not evil tho. Also he might’ve been joking lol
that debt is paid depending on your decisions
gettin cruciod should pay that debt lmao
Def
Should have had more time all 4 of the group with MC Anne seb and ominis
Also how were we fine after getting hit with cruciatus but natty wasn’t
she be weak, we just walked it off
yes hahahah and i was sad because i wanted to get cruciod
Okay rude
Main character is just built different
Well at least it ends up with natty not blaming herself for her fathers death anymore
ye and we shouldn’t forget that crucio depends on the victim
oh and natty got cruciod while being an animal
Also they say u havw to mean crucio and seb probably didn't mean it cos he's our friend
i need to read more of the books but ... i wonder what the wizarding world's view on 'hope ' is in magic
i doubt not meaning it would open that door
its a shame we don't have expecto petronum. id imagine that be a great finisher in the game, even if its not custom to our own
Nah he did otherwise it wouldn’t have worked but it might’ve been weaker
I don't think any of the crucio options but have that of an extreme reaction
Because you can’t have it
Yeah that's what I tried to say
nevilles parents were disabled after it
It’d be useless cuz we don’t meet dementors except in the Hufflepuff house quest
Whoops sorry
and it would force you to be good because only ppl with clear heart thing can cast it
Nah Ur all good u said it clearer than me
I meant in the game
They should add that sceptumsera
they wont because it doesnt exist
Pretty sure Dolores umbridge can cast it so that’s incorrect
snape is liquid
Snape invented that spell
Oh yeah
Umbridge isnt evil. She is 100% sure she does the right thing
Pretty sure Lucius has one too but non-corporal
Snape is the only deatheater who is able to cast it
And he sucks
Oh god, she's a sugar rush that is guaranteed to get all your teeth pulled. I hated her and glad she got what she deserved
At least in the books
Actually I don’t think she thinks that. She just does what benefits her
No she is strictly for rules and discipline
and i wrote something wrong she isnt 100% sure, she is 100% convinced
I think absolutely corrupt and evil ppl like Voldemort can’t cast it but I do think others could even if they aren’t good
Snape was, everything what he did was to protect harry yk
He bullied children
And only did so cuz he loved lily not for Harry or James he is not a good guy. Movie snape is but not book snape
hmm i think magic decides it xdd
wouldn't that include pure evil?
technically yes, because umbridge can only cast it because she is 100% convinced in what she does and thinks
no, Snape was selfish, that's basically the reverse
im sure Grindelwald could cast it too
Okay voldi show me your Patronus
Yussss big time
Voldi wasn’t convinced at all, he was scared of death and harry
It was a joke
i know
Whoopsie
But voldi was stupid af, He literally made Harry unkillable 2x and everyone in hogwarts 1x
no idea who that is
Cuz he was paranoid lol didn’t act clever when he was scared
Yes but the first time was when he killed lily and james
He didn’t kill lily immediately cuz of snape
Otherwise the sacrificial love stuff wouldn’t have happened and I don’t think voldi thought that would happen considering how he underestimated love constantly
sacrificial protection btw.
Yea but also the reason why they got targeted in the first place. Shouldn’t have blabbed
Yeah was too lazy to type that tho I think I ended up typing more big brain
Ye but because snape asked voldemort to not kill lilyand voldemort said yes, lily had that decision that saved harry
iirc neville and harry have birthday at the same day
so if voldemort knocked at the wrong door the franchise wouldve a different name
I know but it wouldn’t even have needed to come to that if he hadn’t told voldi about the prophecy
How to make a prophecy not come true?
by not telling anyone about the prophecy
He probably would’ve won then. I don’t see him giving the longbottoms a choice to do the sacrificial protection love thingy but idk prophecy is prophecy so maybe
Yeah if he heard the full one he probably wouldn’t have blabbed
only the part about marking as equal would be enough to not do stupid things
„i cant mark him if i never meet him“
But snape was stupid lol and voldi paranoid so yayyy we got a series
Wait i thought about it for a sec and it actually makes sense why snape told him
Wait why
since we know the prophecy is the only way to remove lordi from existence
he was evil already at this point
Yeah but he fully supported him
So why would he tell him if he knew it would erase him from existence
ye because he was a spy
He was after that. Once he found out lily was the target or well Harry
I think he was after. Cuz he became a spy cuz he was in debt to Dumbledore so he’d save lily from voldi which was after he told him
He didn’t snape overheard the prophecy but didn’t hear the whole one cuz aberforth threw him out of the hog’s head
because its a threat to your master to it makes sense to tell him
Yes exactly but wasn’t your point he told Voldi cuz it would erase voldi from existence? When voldi was his master???
Since he only changed sides after voldi targeted the potters which was after he told him
ye if u assume that he was a spy already
He wouldn’t have wanted voldi to die otherwise
He wasn’t a spy before he was after he told him. Why would he be a spy before?
If it was for Love of lily he wouldn’t have joined the death eaters to begin with or called her a mud blood
maybe because he is good hearted
He only changed sides cuz lily was in immediate danger
A good hearted person doesn’t bully children for no reason
Ask Ryan Reynolds
Pretty sure he doesn’t bully them to the point where he becomes their greatest fear
Snape is not a good person at all. Hes hella selfish
wait was the wrong one, Adam Sandler was it iirc
Ewww
Yeah Snapes kind of a 🍑
Re reading the books and omg he's so awful like I can't wait for him to leave the page
I like Movie Snape. He got some bad qualities and a weird obsession with lily but man hella enjoyable
Yeaaaaaa hes the worst
It’s kinda crazy what he did to Lupin in the third book
“Here’s how to kill your teacher”
i mean that weird obsession is called love of your life
It’s weird
And gross dude needs to move on and not ruin her sons life
If he truly loved her like pure love he wouldn’t have tortured Harry like that
Just completed the main story surprisingly was not expecting that
It's deff the Alan Rickman part of him in the films as to why anyone enjoys him I swear
Yeah I always thought that was weird at times
Absolutely
Snapes logic is very flawed
Not expecting what exactly?
i finished that crazy long find 16 keys. I take the tokens back to the chest, insert them, and the chest opens. Out pops the merlin cloak. cannot find it in my inventory. Anyone have a clue what's going on?
It’s your house cloak not the merlin cloak
Also it’s transmog. Check your gear, hover to your robe and press square (playstation)
Appearances
lol, really? well, that would explain it. ty. i still cannot find the merlin cloak. i've enabled it via watching, and through twitch and the potter website shrugs
its not in transmog.
Did you get a pop up in the character selection that the merlin cloak is now available?
i think i did back when i completed the avalanche requirement to obtain it, but i can't remember. so maybe there is a bug with its release?
Im not sure.. recheck if you claimed it on the potter website as well. Like claim it on twitch>connect twitch to wb account>connect pottermore account to wb> connect ps account to wb account> claim the drop again in the pottermore account.
no idea. all those boxes seem to be ticked. if the merlin cloak is only transmog then even if my inventory was full it shouldn't have made a difference.
I almost missed that "REDEEM" button on the wb page yesterday
Finished the main story. What the heck was that? It was- so sudden and not good
Yeah it was just like that. I remember when i read some spoiler that theres a headmaster fight at the end but it didnt happen lmao
Oh wait i still need to do my OWLs maybe there is one 😳
anyone have issues with getting the telescope to zoom? nvm, it was due to a custom fov i'm using. disabling it allowed me to zoom the telescope.
I only have two tokens so far and also need 11 or 12 demiguise moons
when do i get my second upgrade been like 7 hrs or something of playtime and I still havent gotten a owl
after story quests
other houses have special storyline but what are they? I only know the hufflepuff one
Ravenclaw you go to the owlery tower and do a puzzle, gryffindor you do a quest for nearly headless nick, slytherin is the only one i dont know
i see , that's nice
It’s about the headmasters houself going into a cave near Hogwarts
You’re supposed to get a ring but jackdaw sold it so you only meet him lol. Nothing special
Yeah he wants you to retrieve an heirloom from a former master, apparently Jackdaw had a crush on her
Oh yeah you go to the owlery tower for ravenclaw because jackdaw stole a wand from olivander and he wants it back cuts its an heirloom wand
My guy was two-timing lol
wait...
haha, you were faster though :D
heirloom wand... heirloom ring? was jackdaw getting the deathly hallows? tf
well there is no deathly hallows ring so ^^
lol
the ring horcrux in harry potter was the resurrection stone, it was the gem in the ring iirc
No just a thief trying to impress a girl
he was getting "his" deathly hallows
aaah yes, I forgot ^^ Was just thinking about their normal appearances ^^
Also the ring is from the gaunt family not the black family
Dont forget the Toast
YESS THE TOAST AHAHAHA
🍞
Should I open it contain the magic
what should i do with the repostory
Great game but what’s wrong with the developers for excluding figs death if you go evil, why even give us an evil option if it does nothing story wise
After ranrock dragon gets down to like quarter health and he begins to walk sorta? What is the best thing to do in this situation? It's really hard to dodge when he runs at you.
Try to keep your distance. If you've got confringo and expelliarmus then I'd just spam those
Hold the dodge button to fast dodge. You just have to learn his pattern
I missed Poppy already
missed or miss?
What is it about releasing the Ancient Magic at the end that makes it inherently evil? Is it that we don't actually know what it is? Or that the emotions were taken without consent? If I'm honest the Keepers seemed a little suss and completely okay with Dark Magic. I mean - Isidora using the experimental spells on Children was taking it a little too far, but I still don't get how that choice is the "evil" one.
And tbf the story didn't really give us enough info on what that type of magic even was to make an informed decision.
What makes you think they were okay with using dark magic?
The fact that San Bakar literally uses Avada Kedavra to kill Isidora. And also that was kind of a cheap shot without taking her head on.
Casting it out of necessity doesn’t mean they endorse it
Also right after she dies there is a release of some white vapour stuff that appears to go into the Repository. I'm fairly sure it will function like a Horcrux for her.
It means they went to the effort of learning it and he could have used any means of other spells to incapacitate her or whatever.
All you need to know is the wand movement and incantation, with enough conviction anyone can use it
I think there is more to it than that - you need to put significant effort into mastering it. Most famous "Good" wizards would never have used it to kill someone.
Don't get me wrong - I think making Isidora somewhat sympathetic and the Keepers slightly flawed makes for a much more interesting narrative.
To cast unforgivable curses, you have to mean it, it’s basically the only requirement besides the movement and incantation
Isodora was getting drunk on the residual power stripping smoke one of pain brought her.
And taking that pain takes the rest of their emotions as seen with her father. She was already more powerful. He had to catch her unawares and had to stop her before she killed them. If she had, no one would have been able to stop her from taking emotions from the entire world
I don't disagree with any of this. But the use of Avada Kedavra to kill her I think was a delibrate choice to make the Keepers appear more grey. I don't think any of the "Good" chars from Harry Potter ever resort to it as a means to kill.
Aurors we’re given permission to use Unforgivables by the Ministry if a situation calked for it.
To catch or kill Dark Wizards not nearly as maniacal as Isidore was becoming. She was literally using her magic on children and amassing power from it
That was a controversial decision by Barty Crouch Sr for a particular period of time at Voldemort's height that would have gained significant backlash.
Well Avada kedavra wasn’t banned during that time
I know - it was outlawed in 1707 by Gump
Lore wise, “good” people have and will continue using it in times of need
So why was Sebastian's questline so controversial and divisive?
Bc he is a child
Ah so if he did the same thing in 2 years, that would make all the difference?
Also it’s alluded his uncle was hypocritical and that’s why it’s “divisive”
And despite claiming that he regretted killing Solomon and that he “didn’t mean it”
He even tells you much earlier in the quest line that you need to really mean to use them for them to work.
Sure he can regret it after and want to make amends.
But at the time, he 100% meant and intended to kill his uncle, even out of anger and frustration he felt at the time
It's divisive because he was seduced by the Dark Arts and used finding Anne a cure as a means to justify engaging in seriously Dark Magic such as raising Inferi and learning torture curses, that really have nothing to do with curing his sister.
Anne doesn’t care much about using dark magic, I’m pretty sure, but she’s rightfully upset that Sebastian killed him
It’s very much the same vibe as the Snape discussion as to whether or not was a good person, which is neither here or there
All I am trying to say is that the Keepers are not the epitome of good as they would have you believe and Isidora had some qualities about her that make her somewhat sympathetic.
I'm not trying to say anyone is either good or bad. If anything this started by my saying that both parties have shades of each.
They never claimed they were perfect “good” ppl, just keepers of ancient magic and devised the trials to train ppl with the same abilities
My issue was more the two choices being framed as "good" and "evil".
My question was simply where you got the idea they use dark magic but dislike it at the same time
Because a character in the HP universe using Avada Kedavra to kill someone is synonymous with being a Dark Witch/Wizard. Dumbledore/McGonagall/Harry etc never would have resorted to it from a narrative standpoint. It makes me think it was a deliberate decision.
Except you’re wrong lmao
Yeah and they knew that while they could use their abilities for hood (like ending the drought) there are some lines you just don’t cross.
Like manipulating the very fabric of a person by taking something that isn’t yours to take.
Isidora didn’t care that her magic took away more than pain. It stripped someone of their emotions entirely. Taking away a vital part of what made them a person
Dumbledore literally asked Snape to kill him so Draco wouldn’t have to
Exactly, they were curious and willing to experiment with it at first when they saw how relieved her father was but afterwards shocked by the side effects
With the particular clause being that Dumbledore gives permission to Snape to do that, which in turn doesn't wreak havoc on his soul. Can't say the same about San Bakar.
It’s the same principle, it’s not out of hatred or spite, but out of necessity
In other terms “the greater good”
She clearly deluded herself into thinking that her victim's were thankful. The static in her memory confirms this. She had the aim of healing people (which ironically fits with Morgana's backstory), but got seduced by Dark Magic in the process.
I think if you start justifying killing people out of necessity, then it is a slippery slope. He could have used any other type of magic to incapacitate her, but he opted to murder her instead.
You can kill people with incendio, diffendo, flipendo, … but they’re not banned and you’d still be killing someone
I don't think Isidora was as "evil or evil's sake" as Voldemort was. She clearly had good intentions and became delusional in the process.
Magic is all about intent which is reiterated often throughout the series
I know, but they frame the Dark Arts as having a corrupting influence in a different manner to other forms of magic that could kill. Ofc I think AK is preferable to incendio lol. But the narrative emphasises the unique nature of the Unforgiveable Curses.
With them only being able to be cast with your full intention
They already showed that she was much more powerful from inhaling the dark residue left behind and easily blocked Rakham’s attempt to stop her.
He had to use something she wouldn’t be able to block and use something quickly before she used her newfound power to kill them as she nearly did Niamh
He didn’t have the luxury of time
Harry Potter used imperio after that one death eater spat on Minerva
I think it was Crucio. Minerva used Imperio.
Oh oops yeah thx for rectifying
He used Crucio didn’t he?
And he used Imperio on a goblin to get the trio into gringotts
I mixed those situations up ;w;
I think the Dark Arts have a corrupting influence beyond simply wanting to mean them. Unless continued use means you gradually want to start automatically inflicting death, torture and control over people.
Oh yeah for sure, but a lot of other factors determine how resilient you are against it
At the end of the day, I think San Bakar using AK on Isidora hints towards some moral complexity on their part, that I hope is expanded upon in a sequel. Their destroying Isidora's portrait also supports this. I just hope the choices won't be boxed into "good" and "evil". If HP tells us anything, it is that it is more complicated than that.
I think they hinted at it being complex when he hesitated on giving the memory, as for destroying her painting I think it’s their way of ensuring she can’t influence others to finish what she did or something along those lines
Fig even says right at the start that it’s not about the magic itself, but the one who wields it
Sebastian, while good intentioned, became fixated on Dark Arts being the only solution. To a point he wouldn’t consider anything else and was willing to go to extremes and manipulate his friends because he thought the ends would justify the means.
Also (and I disagree with this on a practical level), but AK is framed as the absolute worst of the 3 curses, which is why I don't think Harry etc ever resorted to using it.
He did try everything else tho and nothing worked
I just think I wish for moral complexity. If siding with the Keepers will always be "good" and siding with Isidora will always be "bad", then the story will be incredibly dull.
I mean maybe that’s why they didn’t add different endings
What do you mean?
They tried Nurse Blainey, the head nurse at Hogwarts and St Mungo’s.
They could have looked beyond such a tiny scope. Tried healers in other countries or those that studied Dark Magic Curses.
At least in Solomon eyes they tried everything which is why he gave up
If making the keepers choice have a different ending than the “bad” option, then it’d enforce the logic that the keepers are 100% good
I think the issue is that the narrative did not explain enough about the nature of the magic being kept hidden to make a justified decision on whether to keep it hidden or to use it. And lets be real - the Keepers hesitations almost resulted in the fall of Hogwarts.
I partly blame the character you play as, bc they killed him before ever knowing which curse it was or control him to undo it or idk
Instead they just killed him and was like “yeah he’s dead and cursed your sister you’re welcome”
The only reason that really justifies it being an evil action (in using it) is that the emotions were taken without consent. But also these are people that are long dead.
And let's be real - just keeping it stored under Hogwarts means the events will probably repeat in the future with more people knowing about the repository now.
Hopefully this is all explored in a sequel, because I felt like a lot was left unclear.
I think the empowering bit scared them the most and Isi doing what she wanted without taking no as an answer
Keeping it at hogwarts also keeps it safe since it is protected by magic
What makes that power any different than the power of the usual ancient magic? Is emotion magic more corrupting? It's all pretty vague. Why is it red?
I think it’s just a matter of power, they knew that kind of magic gave her more power and she didn’t follow their logic and morale so they were scared of being overpowered by her bc it’s not a matter of skill anymore since she can just rip pain out of anyone, sniff it and be more powerful
Isidora says that the power made her feel like what she was doing was right and that she needed to continue. And that the rush it gave her was incredible
So yes. It was both corrupting, and addictive in equal measure.
It made her believe that she had to keep taking pain, believing it was good and either not realising or not caring that it took the ability to feel anything at all.
I wonder if she could take away her on pain
They still didn't really explain the difference in colour, which was pointed out by Rackham. I think this would be a key plot point. Also Isidora clearly had good intentions, which were warped by her childhood trauma of the drought, the death of her brother and depression of her father. She had that intent before she crafted the spell that created residue that corrupted her, so I think the intent was pure.
Another problem with taking emotion is it could potentially rob someone of their ability to use magic properly
As emotions and magic are intrinsically linked
Also the parallels between Isidora and Morgana were not lost on me. The similarities in name too cannot be a coincidence.
Also I felt there was a parallel with Sebastian and Isi
It's pretty clear that the removal of pain also removed the ability to feel emotions that cause said pain (love as a key one). I definitely got that much. I just think the details seriously need to be ironed out for the whole thing to be believable, because a lot of it is hazy atm.
And then we were forced to make a key decision based on relatively incomplete information.
Tbf not even the keepers knew what or how she did things, it’s a whole unexplored side of their ancient magic so it kinda fits being vague
Key in lore and not gameplay wise
Yeah and I guess I hope this will be explored in a sequel. More importantly I hope the writers already have these answers and aren't just making the main plot up as they go along.
Well the impact on gameplay was non-existent. But I'm sure it will carry over to a sequel, in a similar manner to Mass Effect.
And then it may have gameplay implications.
nah I doubt the endings will carrry over
there will probably just be a canon ending
I can see both having pros and cons but idk
Also we don’t even know if there will be a sequel so
I think it's easy enough to have a slight change in narrative based on whether you went one way or the other. Ofc in Mass Effect it was much more convoluted with many decisions impacting the sequel. I think for HL it will just be two paths they will cater to.
I kinda hope there’ll be a dlc where you can choose to be an auror or something else
The Ancient Magic storyline will definitely continue so whether the repository was kept or used up will definitely have an impact on the next game I feel.
I'm thinking years 6 and 7 will be sequels to make a trilogy, maybe you can do some Auror work on the side?
Even if u choose to let the magic out it still stays in the repository for the time being
Oh does it? I just watched a quick clip and thought it was all released with the MC playing around with pieces of red magic and eyes going all cray cray.
Ya he inhales the magic and stuff but the rest still goes back
ye that ending kinda sucks and I didn’t even know fig died in it cuz the cutscene is different
Did he die in the "sniff red stuff" ending? Do you ever see his corpse?
he dies but u never see him die 😐
Okay weird.
Yeah I found that weird
also the main character doesn’t even acknowledge it really
It almost feels like they decided to make fig die just so they could have someone die to make it feel sad
Which it didn’t feel sad it was just hella random
Yeah
Yeah the sequel definitely needs to work on some character development. They have some good foundations on the characters they have, but they need a little more complexity.
Lodgok’s death I thought was very well done as it had meaning behind it and it genuinely mad me feel sad. My character also had a reaction that showed he cared for Lodgok
Which none of these happened with Fig
I thought logdok would betray us tbh
I got that feeling at first but after that first mission I felt he was gonna be loyal especially since he’s good friends with Sirona
Ya I was like bro scammed us out of a helmet
fig was useless
Anyone else choose to wield the ancient magic, and told off fig exclaiming this was MY power? I need to finish isadoras work and need to save my best friends sister bro!
more like professor
uh
hm my lawyer has advised i dont continue this joke
I turned Sebastian in to the police when I finished the game

How did you do that?
It was lowkey insulting to have Weasley look over my book and tell me I had a lot of work left to do when the quest to give her that book was literally the last thing shy of 100% left in my challenges
They could have just included the good ending fig death scene after the battle but changed the dialogue instead of making it so ambiguous for the bad ending
@vital gate the house cup mission?
I think it's talking to Weasley right after that does it, or that did it for me iirc. If that doesn't, then the house cup does
But I did every other sidequest in the game prior to finishing the MSQ, so #32 hit in postgame
Remember the last shadow mission where Sebastian and ominis are arguing and after I talked to Sebastian, I talked to ominis, and I agreed with ominis about turning him in
That's the boat I'm in now. 1 MQ left and 1 SQ but the trophy popped after summoners court 5
Yeah my trophy popped at 30/32
Friggin snitch
Oh weird. I'm 31/32
Maybe some of the discovery-only quests like the cursed tomb treasure, henrietta's map, well well well, don't count correctly toward it
They do count
Have you completely finished the companion questlines?
Yep
I'd done everything possible at that point except the final non-postgame 'talk to sebastian'
That’s the last one in Sebastian’s questline
That’s the one you need to get the last side/relationship quest
Yeah, that was the only one I hadn't done when the achievement popped, ingame displayed 30/32. There is that one more where he apologizes to you and such, hadn't done that yet either obv
Are you playing on PS5?
Might be the haunted Hogsmeade quest counting as a side quest for the trophy?
Oh, very well could be that, yeah! I think you have it
Now if only Penny would stop silently gawping her mouth at me when I'm in her menu
Like a horrifying muppet, she is
Yeah like it doesn’t count for the field guide but does for the trophy I guess?
You said you did it after beating the game. That's before you beat the game
I sold to penny once and then left lol
I already had more than enough money
I sell to her regularly. If I'm going to start my own dragon hoard I may as well get an extra 10%
Yeah after the game I talked to ominis and he said he’s having a trail in the ministry
I picked all the nice guy choices naturally as a Gryffindor and Harry Potter Can't do any less
Idk it’s it true
Hello i have a question. I want to buy the game. And i need some help from someone who played it (multiple storylines/houses)
Anyone here who played more than 1 house??
No
Damn
Can someone explain to me how different the game is depending on what house you choose? Is it like a completely different game? Or is it mostly the same?
Only 1 mission is different. Your common room is different. That's about it
I haven't played more then one house but from how I understand it, its only common rooms and house related quest. From what I understand Ravenclaw only has the common room, nothing else.
does story change if you tell weasley everything
No
@cunning bobcat @midnight pawn Are house related quests a big part of the game?
No..
Your character still, "lies"
ok
More like gimmics
Ok thank you
Can somebody tell me which Part of the Main Quest is before the "Alohomora" Quest starts?
HOW COULD YOU!!! he was a bro
people that turned in sebastian are the same peple that didnt give back biscuit
@cunning bobcat @midnight pawn i send a screenshot to my friend of this conversation who is playing the slitherin house. And he says he “can’t imagine” the game being the same when you choose another house like gryffondor
He thinks his main story mainly revolves around slitherin stuff
Sebastian story is not limited to the House you pick.
Cuz we’re the best house
It's not like "MOM OR DAD DIED" it's more of slight dialog referring to your house.
The biggest change I'd say is the house quests. Slytherin goes to the chamber while Hufflepuff goes to Azkaban I'm pretty sure
Choose the house you want. All it affects is where you sleep, the colors of clothes you find and the quest to get to the map chamber. And a few character dialogues saying your x personality cuz you’re in x house.
So if i choose gryffondor my game and story will be like 90% the same as his?
Yep
Thank you
Have fun when you get the game!
Thanks i wil 🙂
It's just slight stuff meant to give you more of a personal impact and journey, then your friends you've been playing alongside with.
@lethal coyote not all keepers are holders of ancient magic. Just Parcival and the bad chick
I think we're deff going to run into her again 👀
Hopefully, however.. she kinda got killed. But we should find her in the painting someday right? Haha
Dumbledore also was in his painting after the kill curse
Maybe
nobody?
I'm betting HORCRUX someone had to do it before Tom in order for Slughorn to tell him.
Complete Percival Rackham’s Trial
Very good point!
Hmmm, I think right after you go to Hogsmeed
After the first trial of Parcival 🫶🏻
1 more question guys sorry. You said slytherin goes to the chamber. And hufflepuff goes to azkaban
ty
Where do gryffondor and ravenclaw go then?
Slutherin goes not to the chamber
Ravenclaw does a mission for Olivander, nothing special. Slytherin goes to a cave for blacks house elf
Huffle to azkaban? What aboyt gryff?
Headless head pumpkin hunting
Pan said they go to the chamber btw
Gryffondor goes pumpkin hunting?
It was fun
Yeah they find a ghost's head in pumpkin patch
I wanted a whole minigame

Ravenclaw has the most boring one
Wich houses did you choose
I chose Slytherin
Then went to ravenclaw, gryffindor and saved Hufflepuff for last because I really liked that mission
Okok cool
Doing the exact same order! Now at Ravenclaw tho. That special house coat is pwetty
yes you interact with the Headless Ghosts crew
Was the Chamber cool? I just know slytherins go there but didn't wanna look into it further
Most definitely I can't lie
It’s not the chamber but just a cave lol
Yeah it's just cave that leads into a secret....well chamber but it's not the actual chamber we know
Chamber won’t be opened till Tom comes. Wouldn’t be canon otherwise
But i guess the blind guy could open it, now I think of it
He’s the heir of Salazar, in theory hahaha
Yeah, but I think the developers can do way better stuff in terms of new content. Chamber of secrets is overrated anyway 👌🏻
Facts
True, I think I was just hoping to see it before Harry 😭
There is a note for the chamber's entrance but it literally says "golly gee there's a snake on this faucet and nobody knows whyyyyy~"
I wanna pet the snake tho
Fair, would be cool to petrify the whole school
Fax
He went too far tho he needed therapy
#sebastiandidnothingwrong
Imagine that on twitter 😂
@stable spruce You need to state that you'll keep the power for yourself
Fax no printer
will remember that. will it be like a question someone will make and u answer blah blah
i loved it when the character said MY power, gave me anakin vibes.. MY new Empire
It'll be really obvious, Fig will ask you what you plan to do
and then fig had that obi wan look of "your new empire?"
Iconic
got it got it thank you!
Leave Sebastian alone, LEAVE HEM ALONE!
Ominis would be the best Slytherin Heir to control the basilisk…
For one he’s blind himself so no risk of accidental oetrification…
And two he doesn’t carry the same level of reverence for blood status that the majority of the Gaunt House do.
So he’d probably just order it to hunt dark wizards lol
lemme add these emojis 😭 😭 😠
Hahahahahahaha YES!
Sadly there is no ‘emoji with bad make up’
I also was confused on natty being cursed with the crucio spell cause her eyes look dead and back headed, and she doesn’t speak after the curse was done. Then we cut back to the hospital and natty is paralyzed and fine, like why?!
Yes, very true! However, I believe he’s dark wizard in the making. There is way more to that guy honestly.
I don’t think so he’s a sweetheart
I want more Ominis… he’s really interesting for a not main NPC (like Sebby, Natty and Poppy)
You don’t normally get many older generation Slytherins that aren’t blood purity fanatics, never mind a Gaunt
Him and Sebby are my two favourites lol I just love them
And heavily against the dark arts due to trauma
I think he could snap so hard due to his trauma 😂
Trauma gets everyone in the wizarding world including him
Well he’d be a bad heir if we go by slytherins perspective
Was even a think in the 1800s.. 😂 we all can relate 2023
Fair fair
Right?
He’s so interesting
He’s got a certain sarcastic bite but he’s actually really nice and far too forgiving at times
Like Anne with Uncle Solomon when he dies
Also. I wanna cure Anne! I want the choice to do it and suffer consequences
that rat
Oh yeah in Slytherin’s eyes he’d be unworthy
Lies he had it coming
I wish we could but we can’t
I love the way he says that lol
Genuinely annoyed but also not wanting to fully go off
Maybe, I’m very sure we will get DLC’s. That’s 99% certain looking at the sales
I love ominis Sebastian and Anne
Also, I’m mad fan of poppy tho. She’s amazing!
I need more of the three. Also love the constant teasing between them and also the mc
Uncle Solomons death wasn’t the saddest death but figs bro hit me in the heart where tears don’t come out
Lodgok was the worst for me even tho I saw it coming
Yeah I reckon actual discussion on DLCs will start after last gen get the game
No point trying to start now, they’d have to pull resources from getting last gen ready
Yah I really liked Sebastian’s jokes when walking up the mountain.
I didn’t even noticed at first, was so distracted. Didn’t see his body dead so.. haha
Sebastian literally casted avada kadabra on his uncle!
I believe the discussions are already there. They can make art work, get a idea on what the story will be.
I ment Fig haha
Uncle was pretty dede
Oh he died due to too much magic I guess
And then Anne just burns all the Inferi with her flame thrower. I want more of her and that cast
Lol… #getgood. But on the bright side; he will be reunited with his lovely wife
Yeah that’s true
Yessss
Plot twist: Anne Will be evil, the dark magic consumed her and she kills Sebastian
And then we kill her,
Or Sebastian kills Anne by accident and corruptions after the years
“You were supposed to protect us!”
“I am protecting you, you foolish boy!”
Listen to him Sebby
I was thinking either Anne or Seb go dark side and we have to fight then win them back with love and friendship
Imma fight with my boy seb
Yes, but I think this story needs a bitter sweet ending.
The world can burn
He’s doing a bad job at protecting tho he be missing that emotional maturity
Also poppy needs to kill her parents. And I wanna be Bambi animagi with natty
I was confused on how fig died but it was a sweet ending that he sacrificed himself
I’d send him to jail but Ominis gets so genuinely upset about losing him
I couldn’t do that. So I’m going for the (hopeful) redemption route.
If Seb lets me down again I’m done
Could you be a Phoenix animagus and if so would you be immortal??
Also whoever wrote that ravenclaw dude: why.. 😂
Kinda of related but I assume Gran is paying for her tuition cuz that’s what I thought of initially when she told me her parents are poachers and don’t give a f about her
Who? The broom guy in broom class?
Don’t think Animagi can be magical creatures, only mundane animals
That would be a interesting theory. I could swallow the killing curse like in the book
Imagine sending him to jail his uncle should’ve been able to handle him better but he didn’t he had the same level of emotional maturity AS AN ADULT
No, the star guy 😂 but that broom guy is also cringe
Big sad
All these relation quests had an open ending, it’s killing me
im on the third movie rn
Like the name or the character in general?
Hopefully a sign well get more
All of him.
Oh we will, will take some time tho
K I thought he was just mid
I am not a fan of releasing this on old gen tho. Might be unpopular but after 2 years new gen it shouldn’t be the case anymore
Well everyone who has old gen needs to be included on the journey too
Normally yes, but it’s pretty normal that after 2+ years they stop making old gen. Like from ps3 to ps4 and xbox360 to Xbox one. It’s the cycle
I can kind of get Solomon’s perspective. He lost his brother and sister in law to a tragic accident and got saddled with their quite young kids.
He doesn’t seem to have a wife or parent to help raise them, I don’t think he ever fully knew how to raise or ever wanted kids
He loves them, but he knows the dangers of Dark Magic and doesn’t want to lose them to obsession as he lost his brother and Sidter in law (who were so obsessed with studying they died to a faulty lamp causing carbon monoxide poisoning.)
Which can I add is an interesting choice. They didn’t die from some awful attack but something much more mundane (and not that uncommon for the time)
It also slows down game makers, in a lot of ways. The game needs to be optimezed for old gen, which means we get less quality. The core needs to be stable for both
I am not saying I don’t get his side lol I get both their sides but Solomon didn’t try to actually make Sebastian understand his side (or at least we didn’t see him trying) he just told him “no”. He also never showed Sebastian how he actually felt like his emotions which might’ve helped Sebastian see his perspective. That’s why I said he should’ve done better
Sure, if we weren’t going on nearly 3 years into current gen.
The fact that they still made a version for last gen is quite the power move.
A lesser dev team might have just dropped it like GK did. It takes a lot more effort, time and money to also make a last gen version of a game primarily made for current gen.
Also it makes sure we get a dlc later 😂
