Speak for urself. Not everyone wants to be a killer. And our MC was a "powerful wizard" Becoz of plot Armor. We don't really struggle and spend blood, sweat and tears to get at the level we are at the game. We just have to trace a curve to learn all powerful spells lol, its completely unrealistic. But it's just a game, so it doesn't really matter.

The evil ending right? I literally didn't even realise he died, only when I was attacking Ranrok and MC said "This is for Fig" and I'm like "wait, where is Fig?". Then found out about it in the ending that he did actually die. I had to look back on videos how he died and it has to be the most hilarious death in the game. Literally shiftus deletus.

Like you went mad with power and he tries to stop you as it was hinted in the dialogue with him when you tell him that you want it all for yourself. So as in not a final boss but as a symbolic fight, like even one Avada Kedavra to kill would be enough.

There's one thing that I found weird in the game though. The lack of people commenting on your Dark Arts. Fig has seen me use all 3 of the unforgivable curses and doesn't even make the slightest comment. He's like "yeah this guy is for sure a good Keeper".

The only good person who did that was Poppy who once said something like "oh so you're using dark arts now?" (Paraphrased) in a disapproving tone during battle.

I've heard ashwinders say stuff like "heard you've been using dark arts, I'm not afraid" or goblins "an unforgivable?!" when they recover from imperio... But never do my friends of professors say anything.

Yeah I used all the dark arts in front of all the teachers during the last fight, nobody cared 😄 that is one of the biggest lore problems I have with the game

The last 2 seems to have the same cutscenes and whatnot, which is a bit sad... would have been nice to see more diversity.
Basically is "boring ending... just keep the power locked here, inevitably having the same problem in the future"
and "use the power for the world -> results in u being corrupted by the power... and well using it on urself".

no, power in general doesnt make someone bad.... just like having a gun doesnt make u a bank robber... it's about how you use said power (thou in the HP lore they do often tap in the "power corrupts" aspect, and the unforgivable spells are extremely powerful, and they do make u feel like that in game )

Yeah, I noticed that the game suggests you must sleep at night or risk being caught by Prefects early on, but that never actually happens in gameplay.

Hence why people like salazar slytherin centuries earlier wanted to teach them at hogwarts. 1. Its left open ended on purpose. The sad tragedy is she likely will die anyway. But now alone. There is no resolution because there never was going to be one. Sebastian was sadly just deperate for an answer that likely doesnt exist.
2. The ministry of magic is incompetant. Always has been always will. U can find a letter addressed to fig ignoring his inquiries about whats to be done about ranroks followers in favor of talking up the new quidditch stadium and as a personal friend to the minister of magic hed love to get him box seats anytime he asks
3. Expecto patronum is an extremely advanced charm that doesnt even seem to be normally taught at hogwarts. Harry just had special lessons for it and he chose to pass it to others
4. Simple. Gameplay reasons. Know how much work would have been needed to make underwater sections? The development time was long enough and hard enough on the devs adding underwater sections that everyone would hate anyway wasnt a good idea.

Its one of the reasons its the best side story in the game. The tragedy that unfolds all around you as like sebastian you keep walking down a bad road telling yourself its for a good cause as you literally torture and mind control your friends and it all ends in murder and devestation

It doesn't affect the outcome of the game or further dialogues, but sometimes you can get prompts from allies or enemies reacting to you using dark arts. Albeit rare. I hoped that they would've put in more of that. Because I've spammed the living hell out of curses in front of Fig, Natty and Amit. None ever said a word. Only Poppy made one dismissive statement. I've heard Goblins and Ashwinders call me out more often.

No he can only survive the initial impact. He will still die in the good ending when helping you close up the ancient magic into a confined ball again. So by choosing the good ending, you extend his lifespan with a few more minutes and you can let him die with his wife's wand in hand.

Just did some research: The decree for the reasonable Restriction of Underage Sorcery has been implemented in 1875, so 15 years before the events of HL. So the trace should've been there while we were playing the game. So there's two options: the ministry ignored some students using unforgivable curses and slaughtering spiders, humans and whatever else attacks our character OR the trace has just not been invented yet.

Well for me Sebastian's arc made me cry multiple times during playing because I lost my brother and my sister when I was a kid. I just KNOW that intense feeling of wanting to have done anything to prevent that.

So while his uncle is most likely right that a 15 year old tapping into Dark Arts will only make things worse, I know that I would've taken the same path if I had been in his shoes.

Seems kind of crazy you can help Sebastian cover up a murder, learn the unforgivable curses, and commit mass genocide while being labeled the Hero of Hogwarts. It also does seem weird (like you mentioned) that no matter what you choose to do with the ancient magic there's no impact on the ending or story. Really enjoyed the game and I feel like they did a good job with a lot of stuff, but it feels like there's a lot of stuff they cut out completely.

Honestly if you think about the story, Ranrok is kind of the hero. He is a bit misguided, but the only reason he is revolting is because the human wizards treated goblins like second class citizens and prevented them from learning magic. The power he gains also comes from of the ignorance of the Keepers who ignorantly believed if they sealed the ancient magic away nobody would ever try to abuse it again. I mean, the wizarding world is at stake and they make you go through meaningless trials that prove nothing while Ranrok grows stronger.
