ok so, we've gotten that concept that gender and sex are separate but usually linked. Gender is strictly the social construct of sex. So because you are xy you need to behave like this. Because you are xx you need to behave like that. Like certain things, wear certain clothes, have certain hobbies. Like, knitting is seen as feminine. Wood chopping is masculine. Purely because it has evolved like that. Yes, they're all stereotypes. Right now it's being dissolved and diluted because it isn't good.

Gender dysphoria is the discomfort you feel because you don't conform to these constructs. "I'm not woman enough, I'm infertile" for example. However, what makes someone transgender is Gender euphoria, which is "now I'm no longer conforming to these standards I'm feeling so much better" or "I feel these standards are much better for me".

The tricky and a bit mind-melty bit is that gender exists only as you believe it to. Ultimately, you put these standards on yourself. It's influenced by society, but ultimately it's your own construct. You give gender the power and you give gender the standards over you. It means as much as you give it meaning. So like for me, gender is so insignificant I don't choose one.
