If you’re talking about the ancient magic hotspots, where you have to go around and collect three of those glowing white lights, it does give XP, but its main purpose is to give you more ancient magic meters once you collect enough of them.

unfortunately this bug doesnt have a fix. biscuit shouldnty have despawned. go around the area and spam revelio. if you still cant find him try to go to a save before you started the quest. if that doesnt work and you still want to complete that quest line you will need to start a new game.

and you dont necessarily have to complete your field guide in order to do this last "quest". (if i recall correctly you need level 34)

the game was priginally created for pc as console systems (even the new ones) are out paced by computers. especially since you can keep upgrading a pc. that being said there are numerous bugs with pc and playstation versions that pc players dont experience. so @thorny wyvern is right. the game does become more extensive the more you explore and load in new things.

A male and female for the breeding one

And it's only ten for the breeding one, and there are thirteen different beasts total

The unicorn is the hardest to catch imo, and the graphorn you have to fight obviously, and there's only one of the phoenix so you can't breed that. So if you really wanted you could skip out on breeding the unicorn and the graphorn

But then beast catching difficulty goes out the window if you just switch to story mode for it

It’s arguable that not sending him is actually the “good” choice.

He’d get a life sentence and Azkaban doesn’t rehabilitate prisoners, they’re just left in there to rot. Hopeless and often with no family or friends visiting.

He’s a 15-16 year old kid. He doesn’t deserve to spend the rest of his life in absolute misery because he felt backed into a corner with the one adult who was supoosed to look after him calling him foolish and fighting him to stop him from trying to save his twin.

Was it a bad thing Seb did? Yes absolutely, but it wasn’t premeditated. It was very much impulsive and again, he’s a teenager. Teenagers are very impulsive because they’re not yet fully developed as adults.

So first off, no, the Hufflepuff quest and Jackdaw's Rest come after the Merlin Trial quest. It's Restricted Section, then you talk to Fig, then you meet Natty in Lower Hogsfield, then you unlock the Merlin Trials. You also have Potions and Herbology, it doesn't matter whether you do those before or after you meet Natty but you need to do them before you'll get the Hufflepuff quest.

And he was prob right in there being no cure at the time. They know the exact curse or who cast it so they have nothing to go on nor were the healers able too. The point of Seb's storyline is the dark arts leads to tragedy and i think to accept that you can't fix/cure everything and use the time you do have with family/friends by spending time with them and make them as comfy as possible than let obsession with a probably currently non-existent cure take away from that and lead you to ruining yours and their lives.

You'll be able to unlock the first Unforgivable (the Cruciatus curse) in the quest called ||In the Shadow of the Study|| - it's the part of Sebastian's storyline. This mission will show up when you finish quests ||In the Shadow of the Bloodline|| (Sebastian's storyline) and ||The High Keep|| (26th main quest). I can see that you are doing the sixth quest right now, so you have to wait for a while 😅

I don't think there's really a "best" skill tree. I usually do mostly Spells and Core, with a smattering of the others (except in the case of one character, where I spent no points in the Dark Arts category at all because she objected to learning the Unforgivables).

No, there isn't, I'm afraid. The only sort-of indicator for which keys you have or haven't collected or not is whether you've learned Alohomora yet, since three of the keys are behind level I locks.
