In another save I unlocked a cage and I can’t save the moonclaf in there because I did that prior to the quest

There was also a part with a large area with a slope for an entrance and I thought there's going to be a big fight there and that there's no going back up so I killed all the Goblin mobs from a distance first before sliding in and then the quest said "Defeat all Goblins." My killing them before the quest line started bugged out the progression.

yes but how many colours for each species is my worry. 4 x 12 = 48, so far I have puffskeins, jabberknolls, nifflers, hippogriff, thestral, mooncalf and I know there's more. If each of those has 4 colour variants keeping a breeding pair of each is 48. Add in one more species and I run out of room

I think the Jabberknolls are the most with 3 colors, not including the shiny one, and each species comes with a shiny variant not including the Phoenix and Graphorn.

I feel every house has two types of people in it. The exemplars and the desirers. For Ravenclaw an exmpler is someone like Hermione brilliant and knowledgeable in a wide range of information. A desirer is someone like Luna not necessarily any smarter than normal but with a desire to learn about the world. The difference is Hermione reads something in a book and treats it as fact "Magic and electronics don't mix" Luna reads the same thing and goes out to find out WHY and whether maybe they were wrong. Hermione hears of the crumple horned snorcack and feels pity for the person who believs in it, Luna hears of it, thinks of Thestrals who most can't see and goes out seeking it in case its true.

I always figured magic gives off some form of radiation that messes with standard electronics. But then theoretically with the proper shielding on the device, they could be used within the same vicinity.

I've seen that explanation in canon along with crystals to allow them to co-exist, I've also in canon seen mention of bugs that feed on magic and evolved to also feed on electronics.

My point though is more Hermione reads in Hogwarts a history this fact and just accepts it. She never tests it herself, never asks if the ministry at the time might have had political reasons to ensure the test failed (like the flying carpet ban), that the person doing the test knew as much about the muggle artifacts as Arthur does and didn't plug them in or even that what they tested (radar) failed because they tested it at Hogwarts a place enchanted to ensure you can't find it on a map and might have worked perfeclty well elsewhere. The ministry itself doesn't appear to bother the nearby buildings, nor does diagon alley both of which should be heavily magical places but aren't enchanted like that.

An examplar works ike this they see hte knowledge in a reputable source, they accept the knowledge, they quote the knowledge. A desirer would want to know more about who and when and why the knowledge was aquired, they may test it themselves at the very least they wont assume technology working on ancient muggle magic is the same as modern muggle magic. For instance does any muggle born who hasn't read hogwarts a history have an electronic watch?
