So there's currently a bug in completing the Conjuration collection. If you turn in a quest before getting all butterfly chests, it will create a bug in which you receive nothing when opening one of the chests. Now I wonder if they'll easily be able to give us the missing chest after a bug fix or should I expect to have to do a 100% run again. What are you guys thoughts?

I just killed the Graphorn literally instantly on Hard Mode with 2 shots of Ancient Magic.

Stacking 3 Lv.III Ancient Magic Bonus Effects is madness.

Enemies and especially bosses should have enough HP this isn't a 1HKO per phase.

Not teach, send the owl to get the quest. Seb teaches you after he does the bad thing. Do not wait for an owl from seb since its ominis owl that starts the mission at the tomb.

I think I went into the Percival Rackham Trial when my character abilities (and my own skills!) weren't quite ready. I'm on Day 4 of fighting the Pensieve sentries. I can get to the boss, and have fought him for up to 5 mins, but just not yet able to beat him despite a dozen tries so far. Can I quit the Trial and go back to world?

You just have to move around the thing. It will flip in different directions depending on which side you hit it on and if it's top or bottom. But you can't hit the right side and make it go to the right, if that's what you meant

98% of enemies. But Rookwood's righthand guy( forget his name) has his health bar in 3 parts and avada kedavra will bring it down a notch. Also, if you use it when he's below 1/3 health it doesn't actually kill him lol he gets back up and casts it at you for the cut scene

I doubt you can get a shiny Phoenix since it's part of the storyline. You don't even have to press any buttons to pick him up. It just automatically does it

Oh. If your inventory is full when you open the ornate gold chests the item is lost and you can't get it again. Make sure you have space in invetory before oppening ing them.

Doing the same thing, first playthrough was a goody two shoes Ravenclaw who always said the right thing and demanded nothing in return. I've made a second character now (not sure I'm taking her all the way though the game though) who's gonna say all the selfish stuff, steal the pets, etc.

Unless you need to stay in a specific area, in which case failing the countdown will nearly always return you to a recent save or checkpoint allowing you to reattempt the quest.

I've got a question for people of different houses!

I recently made characters to see the three common rooms I didn't choose (I picked Ravenclaw), and I noticed that Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff's respective common rooms have "gender" barriers. In Hufflepuff, the stairs form a slide if you try and climb them, and in Ravenclaw there's a couple of suits of armor stopping you from visiting the other side of the tower.

Do Slytherin and Gryffindor have similar things that I missed?

I have bad news for you. The game is bugged and you might not be able to complete your collection before they patch it.

If you collected a different butterflies than the one requested in the hogsmeade quest, the one they request may despawn without giving you a conjuration and you'll never get it back.

I'm in the same situation now and it's the only thing stopping me from 100%

There are 15 butterflies locations. In the Clementine quest she specifically tells you to follow the one in the forbidden forest. But if you followed another butterflies you'll still complete the quest. Except the one in the forest will now despawn

So if you are to start a new game. Beeline the hogsmeade quest asap and do not collect any butterflies before you finish that quest

Generally speaking I hope the next game let's us choose a wizarding profession. I for one would love to be a curse breaker with like individual magic puzzles to break each curse as needed. Or an auror perhaps, ancient magic is sure to be a powerful comat tool. Or maybe even magic construction. I do wish classes in the game were a little more involved. Like perhaps you're assigned more assignments and tasks that have to do with practicing intricate spellwork.

Kinda weird, but you would want acomplished wizards in such prestiguous and important teaching positions with the practical, and advanced, knowledge and skills that would be most useful to impart on young witches and wizards. What always kinda weirds me out is that we learn bombarda from the beasts teacher. I kinda expected to learn it from sharp or hecat. I feel like aresto momentum would be the beasts teacher, since it doesn't cause harm and can be used to help capture beasts.

A spider. It's the quest I think where I'll learn Imperio.
I climbed up a platform and that lone spider targeted him. He didn't even fight back.
He even dropped an item after he vanished.
I picked it up and it just had a code for a name with "_PLACEHOLDER" at the end. The icon was a red triangle with a "!"
Thankfully I manually saved just a few minutes before that part.

Uh oh. I think my manual save is bugged. It looks like the game doesn't like sequence breaks -- we're in this room where I immediately figured out the puzzle to open a door. But it seems that I have to read the note on the floor first before opening the door. The note gives clues to open the door. After picking it up, the next quest pointer tells me to speak to Sebastian about the note but he doesn't have a Talk icon when I go near him. 😬

Ah, I have that bug too. There are also three Puffskeins, IIRC, in the Forbidden Forest camp that also doesn't go out of the cage.

one thing thats frustrating me is summoners court. When u accio the ball before they show ur menu, it looks like it didnt work. (however the ball starts rolling slowly) When u do accio again, it just stops the ball and u get 10 points

you may need to play further to do that. You need diffindo and then to use that while leviosa it with its tonge

1. Get levisosa and diffindo.
2. When its about to flick its tongue use leviosa.
3. then use diffindo while holding it up by its tongue to slice the tongue off.
