If you don't want to show up on the hall of fame you will have to leave it.

What is the general procedure of the tournament? I see there's a check-in period but I'm wondering if we will get any further instructions when it actually starts.
How many rounds will be played? How many players per lobby?
Am I obligated to use the discord voice channels?
Is every skin/character allowed? I know emotes are banned but im wondering if there are any cosmetic or character restrictions.

So when. Check in opens there will be a message in #1082366582325514322 telling you what to do . ( it’ll just tell you who to message for check In )

It will be 5 games . And the amount of players will be decided when we see how many reach check in ( because people can’t participate if they don’t check in )

As for voice channels and parties , they are not allowed throughout the duration of the tournament to prevent teaming . As for emotes , any emotes except the Salute and rest emote will result in all points that round being deducted . And don’t worry about cosmetics you can have whatever skins or outfits you want . There’s a setting in custom games which makes it so that only you can see your own cosmetics

I assure you all of the players that were in the most recent Ta EU and NA solo’s tournaments , we’re console players .

The ones who came top 3 in both have all been playing since beta Naraka on Xbox and most of which have been trained

But besides that , it is close to improving to join as a pc player . We make the room invisible to steam players , we check every player every 30 minutes to see if anyone is playing on game pass as well . We also have internal sources checking the players during the tournament just to be extra safe .

Typically most tournament hosts do their first tournament without hero point rules and then quickly realise that if they do that , every single person will go the meta character . So they change to hero rules

It didn’t use to be a thing but with Ziping being meta , you won’t see many tournaments without that rule

How will the console tournaments be organized from now on? Since ps5 has the game now I think crossplay console tournaments would be super fun. Also we'd be able to set them up more easily because the playerbase got a huge boost.

Yeah I used to Love the game, and came back because PlayStation joined was hoping they introduced PlayStation and Xbox only cross-play, most people will say PC isn't that much of advantage but it's a never ending upgradable machine < they just talk outta thier ar** either that or we need keyboard support.

But going into a Royale mode knowing you at the disadvantage from the get go is an instant off put for me.

Eventually the PlayStation player's will realise this especially when they hit Asura League and realise how toxic PC actually is.

Cause I play in multiple tournaments every week and they do nothing to check your ping . So anyone can easily play on 110 ms and spam focus and never get parried .

Like in the last year , the same person has won every tournament on EU and every single time everyone complains and posts clips of them teleporting all over . Unfortunately because ping is an advantage on this game it’s encouraged

I’ve been encouraging people to Join tournaments since Free to play release , but after a year of giving feedback and having no response or signs of improvement from any tournaments . I can’t recommend joining tournaments , because it’s not fun fighting players on 110 ms teleporting everywhere

We are trying to tackle one problem at a time in order to get better and make the MS events a fun experience for everyone. That is Sam's ping (see attached picture) and that is also my ping in NA when I am in game. Telling players they can't participate over that ping is discrimination as it's still in the green. Not everyone has top notch internet and not everyone is located close to the node. Over that ping, you can't just tell players "your internet sucks, so you can't participate in events. Sorry, buddy". This becomes an issue when the ping is red in game. For instance, people from SA have way worse ping, unfortunately, and that makes them unable to participate as the ping can get red and can become a problem for everyone, including them.

I also don't want to be that person, but, as far as MS goes, at the end of the day, we are talking about an event that happens IN A GAME. We have plenty of events, but as far as tourneys go, you can use them to train, have some fun, meet some people and win some stuff. It's not really THAT deep. Our target/goal is to turn MS into a fun community in which you guys can meet people to play with and have fun while also getting some rewards. Keep in mind that most events have other forms of prizes, not money, so I don't see the point in getting angry over something like that. I understand your frustration and we did consider your feedback. We are actually taking steps to change some things and make the MS community better. As an example, we recently added a coaching system where those of you who are interested can get some extra help with the game.
