I don't know much about eSports and don't usually care. But I love this game.

there is no official group or division but all other regions have tournaments organized by different orgs where everyone can participate and qualify for MSC and JCUP. For EU/NA its done by EGL, however it is not the whole year and the current competition is done for this year.

If you mean group like people organizing together there are multiple ones in NA as well as EU, like STR, BWG and others. Usually its just some competitive players and their friends under one name but there is no professional org atm in western Naraka esport.

i think casters should avoid talking about topics they dont understand or know about, just to fill the silence. today there was commentary on how people "started" using F3 on yoto in trios, when this was the F choice that was consistently used throughout. making up stuff how its interesting to start seeing the one F that we have been seeing all the time since game release. its just CRINGE. why even open a topic you dont know anything about. /rant over

well to be fair, they might not know that they are wrong. it sometimes feels like the casters learned stuff about the game from a fact sheet and not by playing; there are some random stuff they state casually that are wrong.

they're pretty good at the descriptive commentary of what's going on. which is good for a viewer who doesn't have background in the game. i think those random stuff that they are wrong about isn't as important because it's not that important to new viewers and are obviously wrong to people who play the game.

that being said, i think the inbetween game commentary is a lot weaker for the same reason you mentioned. with the high volume of games (and casting) hoping that caster learn and improve aswell

Hi to be fair, Caster here. I've been playing sense the first closed beta actively a high skill lvl. Do 1 v 1's weekly, 3 bans etc. There is a lot of things I might say about the game that are opinions I'm sure plenty of people disagree with. For instance in the case of professional play I think Yoto-hime is actually the strongest choice for solos atm. Im sure many people might disagree and think it is Takadea. These sorts of things I do not think it's fair to criticize on as they are really opinions.

That said you can be sure if the other casters are saying anything thats blatantly misinformation I try to let them know so it is corrected. It is like any game that is really just starting with its esports. My fellow casters and myself are going to continue to grow with the game. Keep the feedback coming and trying to keep it constructive help the casters help you guys have a better experience.

yoto is pretty much the strongest solo along with takeda, wuchen and justina, which you can see from pickrates. But you do say blatantly wrong things quite frequently, not talking about opinions here - but simply explaining mechanics wrong or misrepresenting what just happened in a fight. Also you have some pretty strange comments sometimes, one specific strange thing that comes to mind is when you said something along the lines of "jaxy is scary because he's in the lab looking for new combos every day" when jaxy pretty much never does this, these strange little things arent too bad though it's mainly the first thing i talked about that can be quite painful to hear sometimes. You have good energy otherwise i think.

yeah i know it's very old, but i just used it as an example of what i mean, these wrong statements happen quite frequently not just that time and is something you could try to improve on (im not sure how to improve on that other than playing a lot and being very very familiar with all the mechanics though, sadly)

the casting is quite good otherwise - just saying people who recognize these errors are likely to feel its quite painful to watch

All I'm saying is you are never gonna get 100 accuracy from casters in a game like Naraka. Please keep the feedback coming specially if someone gets something blatantly wrong. That said things change a lot with this game an very fast. I don't know about the other casters but I play the game 3-4 days a week and I definitely try to keep up with everything.
