there's a formulae to it for sure, but there is certainly a trick to making these look reasonably unique within the style

there's also much more of an emphasis on what this looks like at distance, which is how you see it in cards and ig - a lot of these customs look awful up close

it's best not to take these customisation events too seriously - they're very often just a popularity contest, and ppl create alt accounts and use bots to up-vote

I've also had ppl contact me in the past asking for an up-vote in return for an up-vote, so if they reach out to every entrant they get a lot of votes

It's why I stopped partaking in these contests long ago. Always botted, shameless and clear as day, yet they still win the prizes because it's just one of those things they can't technically prove, even though it's blatant and we all know who's cheating.

This is the first event I joined dealing with custom characters. The moment I saw that, I deleted my posts. The only way this would work, is if there was a judge system. They could pick three judges (only known after the event so no one can ask for their votes) to make a final decision. That way the people actually meeting the requirements for the event and the ones that actually look good can have a chance.

The trouble is, if you get judges, guess whose friends are never losing again? Gotta remember, this is a game that has a reward for successfully reporting hacks... but to my knowledge, no one's ever gotten it.

The staff are just as biased as the botters, you think they can't tell people are botting? They don't care.

Oh, yes that should definitely be taken into consideration if they ever decide to use judges. If we can find people in the discord that aren't going to be completely biased, and aren't afraid to give criticism, that would be a good start.

Even if judges aren't used there should definitely be another method. The discord channel is apart of the game which should be enjoyable. If there are going to be events that players want to join, then it should be done right and everyone should have a fair chance in winning.

Ok so, you download the image with the QR code. It has to be a png file if I’m not mistaken. Then, when you’re in the game, go to face customization and click on IMPORT. From there, you select the picture.
