But I was only playing Tranquil until it stopped ranking me up, then I quit perilous realizing you have to know PVP just to survive trios in rift

Which yes I like the battle royale component of Naraka but less than 1000 hours compared to someone with several thousand

Same experience I have playing the evolution mode, like I don't need to be perfect at PVP (I already sweat in PVE as is), but there comes a point that Naraka trying to add more variety or content inadvertently just reinforces how difficult the game is

So having strictly PVE half of new rift map is a godsend to let people learn stuff before they get eaten by the wolves immediately

so there is still a place for the solo rat playstyle, but also teaming has it's own place.

There's a ton of reasons why almost everything you learn in PVP doesn't at all translate to Showdown's PVE gameplay (outside of movement) but I won't get into that. PVP skills definitely translate to rift

I think the other problem with rift lfg is if people are into rift, which is few and far between, they just stick with who they already know from what I've seen

From what I understand, there's a level of comfort in the extraction genre teaming up with people you trust even if you know they aren't good. Because they ultimately won't screw you over, unlike strangers who could inadvertently throw just to take from you after if they survive

I don't play other extraction games though so my knowledge is limited

Being infinite for trios, formless for duos and almost formless in solos. the problem at hand is just that fighting mobs is 99% of time horrible idea

in aquila's past optimal rotation included just killing one camp at start for money to get aquila buff

and that was entire pve

all other mobs were just annoyances

that grief u when u open chest or something

its never optimal hitting them

in new map sometimes u may be forced to kill them for quests

but idk these mob quests are absolute trash
