especially if u do random stuff like fight some bot or something

and builds, there are basically 2 main ways

to build rn

either u go bolts, DR, vajra

or

HP, brimming form, DR, vajra

hp build u run with hp in weapon too

and u take hp pot

u can also make mega dmg glasscannon ranged build

with desperation

but thats rly risky unless u really know what u are doing

I'm actually noticing trends, some consistent some inconsistent.

I'll list them in a bit

Drop Trends:

• Drop rarity seems to increase significantly if it's your first Rift game of the day. I've gotten significantly better drops on my first run of the day vs. later runs on the same day.
• Drop rarity seems to be affected by number of players in a game as well as the equipment value brought into the game relative to the amount of players in the lobby.
• Drop rarity doesn't seem to scale well solo. If you get a solo lobby, it will be much safer to farm, but your drop rates are pretty bad even with the best maxed pink gear. For reference, the amount of rare drops with max pink gear loadout vs my rat gold loadout wasn't statistically significantly over the course of 50 games.
• Drop rarity across the board has been nerfed for Gold Chests, but upped significantly for destructible objects and random cabinets.
• Queue population is relative to rank and how active players are. Equipment rating seems to have no bearing on who you match with.

So the gameplay patterns go as follows:

PKers:

• You want to look for high population queues with sweaty players. Usually this will be NA or SEA in Doomed or Perilous. You'll want to max out your gear to up that player count + equipment modifier.
• You'll actually want to hunt down rats (unfortunate for me and other rats). The chances we found something from random cabinets vs what you find in Gold Chests is much better unironically.
• You want to max out your first win of the day by doing the above multipliers to max out the loot for that lobby.
• You'll want to queue up during prime times to maximize the above chances. For example, West Coast USA evenings after 6PM West Coast time.

Rats:

• You want to log into servers that have either less players OR during off hours where there are less people online. For example, weekdays at 5AM are a good time since most people are sleeping or preparing to go to work or school.
• You'll want to bring your largest bag and best gear on your first game of the day. This will yield the best loot and you want to make sure you don't want to miss out on any of it.
• Try to run solo, you'll guaruntee a lobby without fill party always at 8:30 minutes. Unlike BR you'll never time out and you'll always get a game.

I have a question! What is this magical disappearance of people from the map... when we meet players, but they lose the battle and run away. After that, we loot absolutely all the chests. We activate the royal portal and wait literally up to 20 seconds to exit. And no one exits through the main portal, no one exits through the portal at the beginning of the match, no one exits after 10 kg. People have literally despaired, and this has happened 3 times already. I don't understand how they exit the map without any notification

I had a similar encounter actually a few monthes ago.
I took the risk of doing the Roc transport x3 thingy. I activated first, then the first Ents showed up and while i was fighting them, another player showed up fighting them too and i started running away because i knew his teammates will surely show up at any moment. He followed me, but didn't even grapple attack. Then he just dropped a gold and red item. FOR ME. I...i was confused. Is he baiting me? I will drop something too. But he didn't took my stuff and just disappered. I collected the stuff and went for the 2nd Roc transport phase. And when the next Ents showed up, that player showed up too. He killed the Ents FOR ME. Did some emote and then disappeared again. He. Was. Cool. Was he? What if he waits at the golden chest? But no, he didn't show up. It was all mine for the taking. The rest of the match i was still paranoid. And then towards the end i went for the exit. Loading up that thing totally sweating and looking around...and there he was standing. I was like gulp judgement minute. Carefully i did a waving emote (Kurumi). He waved too, and disappeared again. I escaped. I was so touched, it was more valuable then the 20 million i had in my bag. He was an Inor. One of the finest players i've ever met.

I do a bizarre rotation of Monster Camps, Charioteer, and killing little critters to get the 67k required to exit through twig.

Additionally, like Imba said, there are too many objectives now for PKers to waste time.

You can use that to your advantage.

I usually find that players after the statue puzzle chest will have completed looting the north zone, I rotate topside then and complete the camps there as well as loot cabinets.

Especially Empyerean Village, when people take the Gold Chest there, they don't revisit that area because its so far from the rest of the map.

PKers will camp specific areas if they know you need to go there, but you can also use that to waste their time.

Nowadays, I only get killed by PKers if:

• I spawn next to them, super unlucky
• I run into their rotation path. Partially unlucky, but also partially my fault for not playing safe
• I greed Gold Chests or guarunteed Purple Chests (100% my greed).

That aggro strat might get you killed because you guys split across all far corners of the map to catch rats aggressively

because you basically give skilled rats the ability to 1v1

Not necessarily. I've done camps and escaped. I've seen the players immediately either go for the camp or predict a nearby camp.

I usually go for camp opposite side or go critter hunting instead until they get bored or need to prioritize their next objective
