Actually they do that sometimes. They call it "Cosmetics Return" or "Retro Bazaar". I would advice against it though, cause they just slap the price of 1800 Gold on an outfit (which was "free" through the Battle Pass). Though Retro Bazaar at least gives random discounts on those items for up to 50%, which is ok if you REALLY want/need that item. It's been a while that they have done Retro Bazaar though.

If you didn't figure it out yet, the entry point is slightly south-west of Plumed Castle. You will see a little mountain with some wind blowing on the top. When the wind blows strong (happens every few seconds), do a double-jump and you will raise up to that wind-tube thing. In there, you can hold a certain button (on PS5 it's R2) to fly a bit faster through it. On that island there is a Gold and a Purple chest. The Purple is easier to open. Hit the glowing mechanisms. The Gold is more tricky. Bring a Ranged Weapon, preferably Crossbow. The 3 mechanisms require to be hit at a specific order (random every match).

Agree XD, though i was lucky on that so far. I've done over 450 matches and only happened once for me. By the eastern Rift of Plumed Castle. But since i mostly travel by Mole (always have around 32x), i've noticed and escaped them quick. At the distance i stopped at locked back. They probably didn't have Grapples left as they (a duo) were just standing there like "Dam. Screw it. We gotta go anyway."
Gladly i still had enough time left to activate the Valley Guide Rift.
Bots on the other hand, show up very often out of nowhere at the Rift Gates. Luckily they are predictable and recognizable as they are just moving, jumping, and hitting around without real aim.

Sand you crouch while In the storm turn invisible n walk towards the chest, thunder you hit all 3 lighting balls specific order to unlock it, and with freeze chest you go to a campfire and walk up to the chest n it'll melt

How it work and how to get to this place

You need to extinguish three torches. If you start extinguishing them and they return to their original position, you're doing it wrong. If they remain unlit, you're doing it right. The first puzzle showed me the correct solution on the wall (I had to destroy the cracked plaster on the wall). The second one didn't show me anything, and I wasted a lot of time trying to solve it. Control and escape characters are still prevalent, but the rest is not true anymore.

Loot distribution is much more even now, purple chests spawning even in small villages.
Generally increased rates of better loot.
New map (it's still Holoroth, but from different times) with big underground section and more floating islands.

Weapons are balanced better.

@past shell so the puzzle in the underground section. To get there either kill the boss in the middle or do some quests (depending on mode you need 8k, 16k or 24k of gold) and go through tunnels on the Noth-East or South-West of the palace.
You'll have 2 rooms in tunnels with a circle with lit lamps around them.
In same rooms you can notice cracks on a wall glowing a bit, hit that wall to open the map for the puzzle.
There are also 2 corpses. For North-East room it's in same exact room. For South-West room it's in the corridor with sofa and table nearby. You need to interact with them. After that interaction you'll get complete map on the wall.
Put out lamps around circles according to the maps by hitting them.
After that a thingies will spawn in circles. Bring those to the glowing tree in the middle of underground. Interact, get your 2 chests and an exit portal.

Because of last season, where people made a lot of money... now (at least on my server) people are bored. Only toxic, stupid PvP players whose mothers live with them are playing, ahaha. Ahem... Every match is random. It doesn't matter if you go to the center of the map or not. In 4/5 cases, people just hunt you down. Sometimes they can even find you at the edge of the map (I don't know how, maybe they're cheating or it's some kind of quest). And in 9/10 games, they either find you at the edge of the map or wait for you at the exit. Maybe it's just on my server, where mostly only Asians play... Although the server is American

I managed to get in for the first time and had no idea what to do for any of it

There are two places with torches. Near this place, there is the body of the queen. When you click on it, she will tell you part of the story and show 3 correct torches on wall pictures. After clicking on the body, destroy the cracked wall near the torches, which will reveal a picture with the solution to this puzzle. The puzzle itself is quite simple. You need to extinguish three torches in the correct order. To figure out how to do this, you can extinguish one torch at a time. If it does not light back up, it is the correct torch. If it lights up, try another one.
