what helped me a lot with pvp was going into the free training and practicing a ton with the bot on different settings

as well as hopping into custom 1v1 rooms with people who could give tips

I realized that relying on in match fights for my "practice" meant i was looting like 80% of the time instead of practicing the fights

If you go to your map in game and mouse over any scroll icons, it will tell you the quest type.

However, I'm not sure why you'd leave quest portal at 1 minute and chase after a rat doing Rift portal when game is about to time out.

That doesn't seem like a "logical" or "safe" play as you claim

seems like Trios griefing/bullying. That one guy chasing you is greedy for your loot and gambles he can kill you quick enough to steal the Rift Portal before it times out

If you have any extra collab relics, you can sell them via the mass-sell option in the Supplies menu.
