Most builds don't need double rares anymore to be fully efficient. So it was just a matter of converting attributes to Crit Rate and Crit DMG for a lot of them.

Pretty much every build will want at least 1 Windfall (or other Rare Attribute) on each jade. You just get more attribute value from that (4.5 per jade instead of 4).

fully maximizing the stats is the major problem

if you can live with 3% attack, 2.5% crit, 22.5% crit damage for example

its not that hard

It’s easier now, since the bulk of builds no longer need 2 rares.

But the RNG when rolling for stats and hoping you get the single stat you want, is still bad; still requires you to dump countless hours into Showdown to ensure you have enough resources to dump into multiple builds.

And that’s not including, like you said, maximising stats on a particular build.

and then fully maximizing the build only if you want the hero top 3 placement by the end of season

Increasing the % of an attribute is expensive, but it's still pretty consistent.

There's no soft or hard pity for getting the right rare attribute though, and would only get worse if they added more.

I don't have a chart atm, but you'd want 4 Mods on one jade, 6 Windfalls, 6 Crit Rates, 6 Crit Damages and 6 DMG to Bosses on the others.

It not having one is the main reason Divine Thunder DMG isn't ideal anymore

It does less than 1/6th of your damage. 30% × 14.1% = 4.23% < 5% DMG to Bosses

If there's a specific threshold of damage to meet, the Crit Damage will probably be better in a future Yama's. Likely only for solo play though cause good luck crit fishing in Trios.
