Unfortunately I'm pretty sure you can't skip it as Matari in Yama's Abyss without dumping huge amounts into aegis damage stats, which would potentially mean less DPS stats. Her curio already does so much damage combined with other buffs when you defuse/ult, that he'll hit the health threshold for the digging attack before you can consider depleting his aegis shield. Maybe thunder lotus surge with repeated skill use could do the trick...? But that's only operating off the assumption her curio build already uses thunderpull to force defuses, and I can't imagine thunder lotus surge feels good on Matari specifically, especially since at that point you're not even using her curio. Might just have to tough it out unfortunately

Yea @fierce light I’m quitting this game as soon as this pve season ends, it’s the same grind over and over (and it’s garbage and too luck based getting the rare attributes u need) but mainly because I have too many no life tip riders who spend every second of their jobless life competing with me on the leaderboards. And like u said it’s who spent the most time/got luckiest faster. Most of being #1 really boils down to what moves did the boss use and in what order. Last season I had the fastest kylin time across all servers PS and Xbox included and I had to keep restarting over and over if the wolf boss used her dash away move where lines come flying at you. That one move took so much time there was no hope of having #1 just if she did it even once

Basically you fight a few short waves of enemies and a boss, all at once, in a small enclosed area. Nothing too fancy. Spend your initial 150% rewards of fatigue on TI especially if you're new, you want to get as much farming for curios as you can before the season ends. Especially so you can craft the curios to level 1 and be able to use them in future seasons

people who play showdown regularly have a lot of materials to spare. typically u want to have some farming build (which ideally has max stats) and pushing build for yama (which as u can imagine - needs max stats to compete)

adding 0.3% attack is not really a massive change but it doesnt cost much either

definitely not "1 week of materials"

however windfalls are rather substantial

2% attack and 15% ice blast for instance

is rather tough to miss out on

the yama grind is kinda cancer

as u are mostly limited by boss RNG

the best run needs not just good stats but also insane rng with boss moves

not to mention weekly finishes are kinda pointless

just the end of season finish is important

Not sure what the 6th jade is, but it's probably just a stat boost.

Scorch Skill Surge is usually stronger at the beginning of the season where you can kill things in two Scorchings. Right now Thunder Scorch Surge is stronger due to its much better uptime on Radiance Flow and more Scorchings over time.

Trios can give more total Luck, if everyone has Yin-Yang Synergy (which everyone should have at this point tbh).

Solos can be faster though if you're well built. I don't think Sub-4 minutes is possible with most Trios.

The wielding amount doesn't matter as long as you avoid any Thunder-Wielding and preferably have them at different numbers. Aquatic Prison on the Potential makes Elemental Bursts apply Soak, so having different amounts will make them activate at different times, so your Soak won't be overwritten.

3: Majority of thunder build (ex. Kylin build) don't need thunder wielding (except element surge) Thunder charge + Radiance flow combo is where kylin most dmg came from. You can build thunder for example 6 jade on poison or ice + 1 thunder wielding on element surge for thunder charge + randiance (maximum 4 light orb) flow combo to work effectively.
4: The less element wielding you have the faster the element meter charge hence the kylin thunder charge (with only 1-2 thunder wielding is better than Justina Ice 6-7 Ice wielding + 30% currio element accumulation (still not good on TI)
