Akos is one of the strongest mobbers pre-Curios and has one of the strongest Ultimates. In Enigma, just two well aimed roars can clear a camp (first roar kills small mobs, second kills large mobs). In Ruins, I've cleared floors in just 1 Roar + Thunder Counter for my fastest Solo & Trios run.

Zai is pretty meh though. She would've been good in the burn meta a few seasons back.

Honestly considering both Lyam Liu and Shayol Wei got heng swords for their extreme weapon skin counterparts in their gacha pools, it wouldn't surprise me if either or got heng sword. Not to mention the number of poses and renders of them with a heng sword as is

Whichever you have more of, you'll benefit more from the other. You'll most likely have more Attack than DMG Bonus, so Desperation is usually better. Just keep in mind, you'll have to be fairly aggressive to keep it active with the healing from Deadeye.

Elemental Accumulation is significantly reduced against mobs and bosses in TI. So it takes a lot more to proc it than usual.
