Is showdown pass ever worth it? I've completed all the non-repeating levels, but haven't unlocked the advanced pass bc unlike the pvp pass, this one won't generate enough gold to pay for itself.

Valda is actually sounding like a pretty strong pick next season. Combine her with a Viper or Temulch and you can synchronize their Ultimates to do huge Aegis Damage.

That was the case at beginning of last season and beginning of this season. I remember a lot of people thought Valda would be a top hero with the introduction of burning and soak meta, and it turned out to be one of the worst characters because of her bad defuse and spear features.

I suspect that defuse will still matter quite a bit, and if they haven't changed “bad” heroes (Valda, Temulchin, Kurumi, Viper) in that aspect, it will be quite disappointing, especially against defuse of new hero.

By bad, I mean defuse, which is combined with dodge and wastes shift. Especially since it's slower than normal.

Yeah they buffed her Ultimate sometime during last season to where it actually does great DPS (just not on the same level that Burn was). Now they buffed it again, so it's likely to be competitive.

Defuses weren't that important until Burn Souljades came to be tbh (not to the degree you want to Defuse everything). Defuse Solve was pretty good for how quick it was at delivering its damage, just not good for the repeated Defuses that Burn builds needed. Even during Burn meta, you'd often have to cancel other Defuses cause of their much longer animation.

This season was different cause Burn wanted multiple people running it since it only scales linearly.

Last season though, it was pretty much required for someone to carry because element was the only way to do enough damage and it scaled exponentially with each Element ring you got (it still does, but Burn is strong enough to make it irrelevant).

I have been taught valuable lessons today about yama....

Did not know they change, the old ones become unavailabe, the new ones have higher sense levels. Is there a date somewhere shown when they end?

I really wanted one of those weapons.....I am always late for everything. Moving at a slow pace is not the name of the game.

The store looks fhe same(I think) but the main mission has changed from reaching stage 20 to something called platinum.

I think last season was so long they added wunchen mid season

So we prob see new heroes when this season ends

So this one is even shorter....I was trying so hard to learn how to do showdown mode etc, and other days just not mentally there that I missed 3 months worth of days in Yamas(never did yama did not really understand it and could not do them because I did not have 9 stars thanks to needing to be a trio for that one part).

I think i did yama pretty leisurely

Like 2 matches a day to complete the daily quest
