If my memory didn't betrayed me, it mostly affect how ping and fps register hit between 2 people fighting. Before the change, people with high ping can effectively infinite someone without the need to any fancy stuff, some weird ahh interaction too, like rubberbanding on both side, charging focus didn't negate non focus attack, this made the game a lot less fun if someone is lagging and some people abuse the game with lag switch. After the change, they deal with it, but the dude with high ping get short end of the stick, they will stagger the opponent much less if they land a hit, uppercut opponent is send lower and causing grapple combo to be somewhat inconsistent, at the same time if the opponent with low ping hit the high ping one, they get stagger much more.

I know for a fact others would recommend that Razer 8k one but that thing is a gimmick 8k mode is wired only and it stutters and has missed inputs. 1k polling is the current highest stable point for controllers. Also those Razer controllers degrade fast the RoG Raikiri II is just the superior controller at current for pc and Xbox only thing close is the scuf envision tmr version
