but none of them really made the game look good; they had no idea what they were doing

the fact that the learning curve for naraka is pretty steep also poses a problem for a lot of western players; it's pretty common to see people picking up the game and rage quitting as soon as they start to face real people. the skill gap is too harsh when that happens and some individuals can't bear it, nor the effort it takes to get better at this game. they want to be good immediately 🤔

Lannie is a slippery character means when she is losing she can run very easily but she also has decent 1v1 and chase down.

Shayol on the other hand has insanely high 1v1 strength but she lacks in the ability to chase down enemies or run away.

Cyra is the best character for kill confirmation, it’s very hard to run away from a Cyra that’s good and is trying to finish you when your health is low.

If you are not confident in your neutral so much use Shayol she really helps.

If you feel like you want high kill count games and don’t want kills to slip away, use cyra but u need to be confident with ur neutral.

If you have good neutral and u are afraid of not being able to run away when u need to u need to use Lannie. However ur neutral and movement need to be decent enough so u win in attrition.

There is a simple key to good movement. First learn focus canceling. It’s simply holding blue focus and then hold dodging into holding blue focus and repeating.

2nd when not being chased by enemies u can use crouch and into jump canceling to preserve stamina. When being chased down DO NOT use this, grapple will stagger you.

When being chased down you need to slightly change focus hold dodge canceling to actually become half charge hold dodge canceling. You send the attack to avoid grapples staggering ur end frames.

The goal:

reach walls to scale rush. You need to control ur stamina with the timing of blue hold to reach these walls and you need to know off muscle memory how to instantly scale rush off a wall. Use fan or dagger for scale rushes as they have low start up lag. The goal after scale rushes is to break line of sight from enemies so u scale rush to behind buildings or inside of them and then maybe climb a building while avoiding line of sight from enemy to be able to heal a few. That’s the basics of movement. Also, do not at all costs grapple away when being chased down, enemy will be able to counter grapple. Only grapple away after u break line of sight.
