I was hyped the second they first mentioned her and all the teasers and their wording made me believe Lannie was to be a dancer/illusionist/trickster kind of character. A conjurer of sorts, spawning illusions, "don't believe your eyes"-type of magic, maybe even working with clones, mirage, diving deeper into the invisibility aspect they were hinting at so much.
What we got is an "I disappear for a split second and then kick balls around the field like a manic football player". How did we go from "performer and illusion pro" (their wording) to sitting on a carpet and unreliably knocking balls around the area? I played since beta and this is the heaviest mismatch so far for me, they completely missed the mark. Which is a damn shame, I was absolutely certain she would be the most interesting character with a mysterious theme and stunning visuals, but her gameplay is so utterly uninspired.
