console players are on average worse than pc players
and also console is limited in fps
pc can have higher fps
and that makes a big difference in this game
but what you say "spamming blues to run away" is just a basic mechanic
if you think that's advanced you should probably watch some guides
because that is one of the most fundamental movement mechanics

The higher your fps is, the easier combos are. I know my Xbox averages 40-50 fps, and once you're 60 or lower the enemies don't just sit in the air waiting to be comboed like they would for a PC player

blue focus is when your character glows blue, most regular focus attacks will put you in blue focus
it makes you immune to stagger from grapples and from light attacks
