and you will run into them very often

so if you want to beat them you need to play at their level

doesn't mean you need to nolife the game, but it does mean you need to understand it at the same level as them

the skill ceiling for games like this keeps rising with time

you can by all means beat players who have 2000h in your matches while just having 100-200h yourself, so long as you spent those hours catching up to their skill level
