Quick dash (the dash for dagger and fan) is pretty quick, can chain into another dash, have solid option to get out of it pretty easily. Opposite from the view of dagger and fan have limited range in other game, dagger and fan in this game have very good reach. They can also hold for quite sometimes to put on pressure

Something like double dash can be performed without dagger or fan but requires some knowledge (not really a lot, you just need to know how)

Granted, option out of quick dash for dagger is not really effective as fan since soul break is reactable parry

However in neutral, there are not much weapon that gives you straight advantage in winning them like dagger or fan ||We don't talk about fistblades||
