i have once found someone else's drawing that seemed extremely similar to a pose i had to an uncanny level too, so personally i learned that as long as the context makes sense and it is well made, i wouldnt call it a rip off

their drawing was much older than mine too

not to rant a lot about pings but one thing that still bothers me is how demanding bots are on lag spikes due to how they teleport

So let me detail what that change did.

1-it reduced stagger time the higher ur ping
2-the reduction formula used by them is awful and it’s overestimating causing higher ping players to have “negative” stagger
3-the formula only works one way instead of both ways. Meaning low ping players can still untrue combo higher ping players
4-at 112 ms or higher you lose access to all true combos. (All ur combos become soft true, this includes the most basic combos such as staff LMB into uppercut).
5-Your stagger time is negative. This means your opponent recovers from your own attack faster than you recover from your own attack animation
6-low ping gives you heavier stagger against any higher ping player, meaning low ping players can play like apes spam any key and win by untrue comboing you to death

i will do some testing if i get the time, from my brief experience playing at 120ms-150ms i never felt that, combos still worked, even grapple combos but i only go for single edged blade ones

it sounds so extreme i dont think i wouldnt notice if even basic true followups dropped

Try and do the combos on bots and tell me how you feel about it. Also reminder that bots don’t soft combo break so u won’t know until u test against real players. However, for sure the bot will be able to dodge out any of ur staff combos.

As you can see from both videos. Negative stagger time and no true combos.

The game falls apart the moment you cross 112 ms

However, even at lower ping values than 112 ms you are still at an insane disadvantage

Low ping players will randomly be able to escape ur true combos by soft combo breaking

Low ping can untrue u in the most disgusting ways

And even at 50 ms if you fight a low ping player u will feel its effects if you closely pay attention.
