F2 Kylin grab success basically function as:
Hold enemy -> Press F -> Release enemy (work as restand) -> deal small damage + knockback -> kick (deal small damage + knock enemy higher).
Due to the release enemy work as restand, it has certain soft spot with ping where you trigger F wouldn't knockback enemy

Idk if my explain works or not

If enemy has really low ping and you have ~90ms (my ping when shenanigen happen), Kylin F2 after success grab is escapable

Here is the thing I wish Naraka’s ping issue was just a “feel” issue. Almost ALL GAMES in the world high ping is most likely just a feel issue, and is only a big problem when like both players fire a bullet at the same exact time, which is an extremely rare occurrence. There other scenarios but all of them are extremely rare.

In Naraka it’s beyond just a feel issue, it is a HUGE ONE SIDED advantage for the low ping players. It’s beyond just parries clanking tap dodges and holding blues not working, it is to the point low ping player has MORE STAGGER time and and a huge amount of untrue combos they can do on high ping players, WHILE escaping the true combos of higher ping players.

You said the new netcode feels better? Said no one with ping above 60 ms ever. It’s literally a worse game and more unfair than it has ever been. Back then both low ping and high ping players had the capability to untrue each other and now only low ping can untrue?? While they escape the TRUE combos of higher ping??? Like really??? It went from being a somewhat ok environment for high ping but still low ping being much better to a completely one sided game that’s just beyond disgustingly awfully advantageous for low ping players.

The solution is not more servers. It just isn’t due to the playerbase of the game. The weakest form of attempt to fix this issue should be the reversal of the netcode back to how it was. It was a step in the wrong direction. Anyone who says otherwise isn’t 60+ ms and doesn’t respect the fact this game has few servers which means the game should be by default operational at higher ping values. This game believe it or not cannot be designed for just low ping. If the devs are doing that they are failing miserably because they know well enough about their limited amount of servers. This ping argument is silly especially when people with lower ping try to down talk the issue or make it seem like a “normal thing”. It isn’t.

Low ping attacking higher ping should have their stagger time reduced by the same factor the higher ping player attacking the lower ping. If they do that no one would have untrues and I’m all for it. So instead of both parities being able to untrue both parities should be unable to untrue. But what they did was just remove it for one party and keep untrues for lower ping.

The reason why this is happening is because the game isn’t reverting the stagger time to 0 ms, instead the formula they are using is garbage and is overcompensating with relation to ping. So instead of reverting the stagger time to 0 ms level it is overcompensating and reverting it to like -100 ms resulting in negative stagger time. And the devs did nothing to address this issue despite them “acknowledging” it.

Imagine if while I’m being attacked I tap dodged and the game sent this buffered action to the server instantly. What will happen is simply on the first recovery frame my tap dodge will register on the screen of the attacker and no one gets rubberbanded and no untrues happen regardless of the ping..

Yeah low ping can do that too with 2-1-1 weapon swap tech and it is even more amplified than higher ping players’ stay on ground effect. High ping cannot do 2-1-1 which means they don’t have access to a huge amount of optimal combos including the best nunchuck and staff combos.
