Here a neat trick to avoid it if you 1v1 him, watch his hand after initiate, if he does the hand thingy, tap dodge

It hurts and burns stamina if you want to avoid all of the sword, but it slows to start and reactable while 1v1, be mindful and you can avoid it

For when you get hit, you can consider hold focus, wait for the big sword to rain (this you have to learn the timing yourself) to tap dodge and hold again, you can tank more damage during focus + avoid big sword that ignores focus

His smaller sword deals damage but don't stagger you for long, you can hold dodge -> focus holding to tank them, the big sword only rain down after the smaller swords stop for a bit, these sword will ignore your focus but you can tap dodge them. Just be awared the Wuchen player might pressure you so you can play defensive or risk offensive and trade with Wuchen depended on the situation
