so if you wanted to keep the base star for it you could lock it after you unlock the third star if that makes sense

Hi 🙂 star skins are only able to be purchased via steam market. Assuming you’re not from CN, you MUST purchase one that is “Non CN” or the skin WILL NOT WORK.

Those are the main factors, other than that you can’t really preview what a skin looks like before buying but certain colours have number ranges if you’re after something specific, no guarantee that colour is up for sale though

In Free Training, you can try on any skin (includes weapons too) including the extremes and star skins but only their default appearance, not the different color or style options that the star skins have. You’d just have to go to Free Training, select a hero, go to their collection tab and then outfits and it’ll show all the outfits

Depends on which one, but between ||2k to 4.5-5k USD|| for each I'd say (excluding the market price they were bought in, (I hand-restyled every single one of them from no 4th red constellation cuz some of them werent available when I wanted to buy em)). Yh, you get a star skin greatest thing ever, then you have to unlock constellations and get something you like, then you have to unlock the last constellation which never arrives for some reason or you don't want to throw away your good design 🫠

Dumb question about the star collection items... What does the "Quest" do? Where it tells you "Kill X many players with this to unlock the next level"... I can't seem to find any details anywhere about what that's for.... is it just flavor text or does it change the odds of unlocking things or getting rarer colors?
