U can start to lock single stars when you’ve got the latest star (last star is always red) then you can lock the stars you like and keep rerolling for higher cost

You can lock a variation once you unlock more star, up to 2 for Extreme, but it will cost way more to reroll. What to look? Well it more a preference at this point, I reroll red color sometime because I prefer gold one

Just putting it out there that it is possible to keep rolling + rollback to unlock the 3rd trait. I rerolled + roll back mine back until the 3rd trait appeared while keeping my red color all the way. Once you've unlocked the 3rd trait, you can lock 1 trait to continue rerolling
