The bosses are generally scaled down, 3 defuses till stage 7 are basically enough to knock, the jade droprate is random, but the last enhance 8 boss will fill ur bag. Every enhance drops a boss, and u need to kill all of them to entirely complete the mission, its the best sense and legendary souljade farm in general that we have, finished it around 40 times without luck jades now, only 2 times no legendary best drop 5 legendarys.., I recommend doing the bosses as soon as they spawn since they will scale in enhance too sensewise.

So not only do you need decent rolls on a jade, you need it to get Ice-Wielding (or wait 1 | 2 weeks to imbue a Epic | Legendary).

Not that you necessarily need to get God rolls on your Souljades to do our current content, it helps a lot with getting better racing times.

The 1st is being farmed by high levels for quick runs. And the last two can be solo'd with a guaranteed 6 Souljades to drop.

Probably for Viper you'd want Damage to Aegis more than anything. Especially now that she's no longer the top DPS dealer.

Attack is still great for meeting certain thresholds to one shot mobs and the like.

There's 3 different types of defuses currently: Defuse-Solve, Defuse-Combo, Defuse-Dash
Listed in the order of their current rarity.

Defuse-Solve is available on Viper Ning, Temulch, Kurumi & Valda Cui
Defuse-Combo is available on Tarka & Tianhai
Defuse-Dash is only available on Matari.

Depending on the name of the jade, it will only work for these specific characters.

The timing isn't so tricky if you're going for it after a Vertical, cause she slams it back into the sheathe. When you do a Horizontal though, try to look out for the flash when the Katana is fully in the sheathe. Also avoid moving around as you can accidentally cancel it.

2 people kill bosses when they spawn, 1 kills only mobs till enhance 7 then they help with bosses.

Bosses have a period where their Aegis is much weaker than normal when they first spawn, so it's important to get to them as fast as possible. You also have 30 seconds of unlimited grapples when one spawns.

Defuse-Combo has the longest delay, but also the longest window. Just no iframe.

You'll have to check your hero's weapon info to see which defuse it has

Mobbing however seems to vary. I personally prefer Temulch, but some people can get Matari or Tarka to work.

Avoid Tianhai though.

Boss 8 might not be so bad now that they spawn closer, but still need at least 1m30s to be safe.

2 people (Kurumi, Viper and/or Temulch) kill bosses as soon as they spawn since their Aegis is weaker and you have infinite grapples for a duration. They also drop a long lasting damage buff on kill, so make sure to pick that up. After boss kill, kill whatever is in your area to push it to the next enhance level if not already reached.

1 person (Matari) kills mobs, particularly Hammer Ents and Warlocks since they give +10% enhance per kill. They help on Enhance 7's boss if needed, or can continue clearing until Enhance 7: 75% if the boss is still alive or Enhance 8 if boss was killed.

It depends on how little damage your teammates are doing at that point. The boss has ~630,000 Health so 200k is a sweet spot for contributing damage.

• If you stay close to him, he's likely to do a move where he slams down around him, that's possibly the easiest to counter.
• When his arms turn sandy, that means he is about to start grabbing, so focus purely on dodging.
• Every now and then after a jab, he'll put his arms in an X formation, while standing straight up, he's about to do his double, triple (2nd phase), or quadruple (4th phase) grab. That move is purely on timing to dodge, just make sure to spread out so you're not knocked up when he goes for a teammate.

i just tested it, it consumes the key once you are in the preparation phase. it also gives you warning that you will use the key if you return to lobby.

Ice Fall can only really be considered for Matari w/ Assassin's Lunge since it is guaranteed to hit for the most part. But still would require +6 Ice-Wielding to use it safely, but even then it can still freeze you.

Otherwise, it hits for about half the damage of Stormstride.

One method for getting better at a boss really fast imo is to go in solo and focus purely on dodging.

It'll help you realize when the openings are and when it's best to look for a defuse/parry.

Yushan Normal is a pretty good Purple & Key farm if you can't do Doom-Racing yet.

Just to confirm... Getting hero xp just by playing the character is hella slow and doesn't scale up on difficulty. Say a level 3 Kurumi that has 300 sense goes onto ominus nightscream... You wouldn't get like 30+ xp even if you healed, revived team and did damage + completing the level right?

Cuz I finished leveling Viper with the level up items and i need to lvl kurumi next.

So this week is a no go unless i can play her for the rest of the day on ominus NS for hero xp

so levelling heros seems to depend on sense level. It was really annoying getting like 30 for omnius NS at like 230 sense. Topaz domain gave something crazy but we got well past my sense level for that. I could only really kill the trash at the end and had to range the bosses as we got to 340 sense and I was 260. In saying that you can still help out a decent bit even when its well above your sense level just take out archers first so you don't get 1 shot.

I wish they add Ice Essense as possible drop on Enigma. I have so many keys left and farming Racing seems more worth it to me atm.

Agree. I should have been clearer. I prefer Racing to level up jades to 400. Enigma is better in farming multiple Legendary/Epic souljade to be used for re-rolling stats. 🙂

If they activated during an Aegis Break it would be extremely annoying, cause someone would have to halt their dps rotation break it. Also made certain heroes unfavorable (Temulch, Tarka, Valda & Tianhai) because it takes 10 hits to break them with ranged weapons being ideal.

Not sure if you guys are aware on these, but Showdown is open from Friday-Monday (Monday for NA and 5hrs left for EU). If you login to NA server during 4AM reset on Monday (GMT+8), you will still get a showdown daily reset. but, if you login to AS/SEA on Monday first, before you login to NA, the daily quest in showdown will not reset, and you will sadly miss the 45 showdown coins for that day.

so technically, you can get 250 showdown coins per week, with the reminders of logging in to NA server first during 4AM reset on Mondays. (GMT+8). forgot we are looking at different timezones.

I went inside NA server now, I still have 1d 13h 9m here oppose to 13h 9m on AS for quest reset.

so i think, when it resets in AS/SEA on first day, you need to "Login first" in AS/SEA, for your showdown quest to reset earlier. else, it will lock and not reset if you went in to EU/NA first.

similar to how it will lock for us if we login to AS/SEA first on Monday, and not in NA.
