this is the same double boss during the 1st week of Doom racing though. although no one was able to do racing during that time. all below lv.280.

and he played NON STOP with an efficient team

for 3 days

and U should keep kurumi regardless of her reduced damage or not

i know you need to kill the chapter 1 leader first. problem, the 2 randoms doesnt know it

thats why u have to be the distraction

go take aggression of the rock one, u have 2 options

either dodge perfectly like a gigachad ( not that hard after u get a feel for it )

or

u can take him to a corner

and climb up

so he will keep trying to hit u, but wont be able to

hope that ur 2 other teammates see this and kill the sword ( chapter 1 ) first instead of coming over

i tried this and many people actually kill the sword one when i do this

u can technically be faster without kurumi

since kurumi does no damage almost

and does little to astral aegis

best team i would assume is viper tarka and matari/ valda

tarka and viper is an op combo, one breaks shield, the other breaks health, tarka does almost 4k fireballs each and if u have his ultimate enhance he does insane

Showdown Progression Guide (SJs = Souljades):

1. Reach Toppled Mountains [Normal]
2. Choose a set of 6 SJs to focus for leveling, equip & lock those
3. Grind Toppled Mountains [Normal] to 25 Sense Level
4. Do the lowest Recommended Sense mission that drops SJs above your Sense (when your Sense catches up with the drop, go the next mission down)
5. Level your 6 SJs evenly using the drops from Step 4
6. Continue Steps 4-5 until you reach 275 Sense
7. Grind Immovable [Nightscream] until you reach 280 Sense
8. Grind Toppled Mountains [Normal] to reach 300 Sense

After you reach 300 Sense, you've hit the soft cap. It takes significantly more SJs to level up to the max level (350 atm). In Doom-Racing it scales you back to 300, no matter how high you are, so going to level 350 will only increase your grinding speed by a slight amount. Your goal at this point is to get decent rolls & set up your SJs the way you want. Any good SJs you got along the way can be boosted to 275 Sense using Immovable [Nightscream] or 295 if you can get a good group for Toppled Mountains [Nightscream]. Avoid pouring all your SJs into one SJ until you reach 300 Sense, as you'll get less Sense per run doing it that way due to it dropping based on your average, not your highest.

My current Viper build is the 1st one.
A safer one would be the 2nd one.

Basically:
Outrage is a core Souljade for pretty much every character.
Stormstride is OP cause it makes your dodge do pretty nice damage.
Longsword Sap increases the DPS of your Counter and also gives it a bigger AoE & heal.
Ultimate Enhance - DMG Reduction makes you unkillable during your ult, and you can also attack.
Backfire gives probably the biggest DPS increase in the game since it has constant uptime aside from inflicting self-damage.

You can replace Mortal Defiance with Soul Drawing to be even safer, also depends on what rolls you get on it.
Soul Drawing also goes well with Backfire, assuming you're not in an area where you can be one shot at 40-55% HP.

My attack souljade has a max roll of Charged Atk DMG, so it's kinda like having +8% Rage/DMG when I'm doing my rotations.

Blue Moon, Venom Tip, Copper Ward, Craftmanship & Repair Roll.

Don't use them to enhance anything, but just use them on Conversions.
Craftmanship and Repair Roll is helpful though if Doom-Racing is on Immovable and you plan on playing Tarka.

Yeah Splitter lowers the base DPS of your 3rd Strike (Horizontal), but it does make it hit twice, so double Stormstride Sword proc. Still gotta test it out to see if it is any worth from just that.

I don't recommend Desperation for any late game content tbh. It's worth keeping around for farming low-to-mid game stuff though.

Im currently playing this combo: Stormstride/sword, Desperation, Mortal defiance, Enrage, Outrage, Backfire.
Using this on every character due to the high dps output it gives me, only swaping stormstride with stormstride sword if i have someone who benefits more from spam uncharged than charged attacks.
It seems like you got more knowledge and experience than i have so i thought im asking you about it.

I recommend running Stormstride on everyone, it just hits too hard for free.
Enrage is good in boss fights if you're constantly dealing damage (with counters and the like) to make up for your lack of Rage/s, but otherwise it slows your ult charge on average.
Mortal Defiance is good, but aside from end-game content I don't recommend it

i do not 100% agree to this mostly if you are just grinding your Sense from level 315 and up to its max level (350). Reason behind, a level 300 souljade will only give the same EXP amount as a level 20 souljade when used for upgrade. so, the best, easiest and fastest map to do this is on Normal Mode Chapter 2 Stage 3, where you can finish it below 40 seconds and get 3-10 souljade per run.

Guide for Desert Tribulations - Doom-Racing

Quick Tips:
1. You only need to clear certain monsters around a chest to unlock it and move on.
2. Ignore everything not related to the chests and towers.
3. Don't use the portals unless teammate requests help.
4. Attempt at 300+ Sense to have your full Sense bonus.
5. Try to save your Ultimate for the boss if you're Kurumi or Viper.
5. a. Use Kurumi's Ultimate as soon as it comes up during the boss fight.

Recommended Heros:
Viper Ning

• Great AoE, has a Pistol (best weapon for Towers) and does huge Astral Aegis damage.
  Kurumi
• Huge AoE, can buff & heal her team and has a Crossbow (2nd best weapon for Towers).
  Matari
• Decent, but not 100% reliable AoE, has a Pistol, and can deal constant Astral Aegis damage.

• Lacks a method to destroy Towers efficiently.

mataris air striking is dzope, with stormsl7de, I figure adding green attack souljades with perfect +4 to attack is 8%, 6 of those, will demo that, or 4 with desp and selfburn

Yeah i do recommend keeping maxed rare Souljades. I got quite a few nice Epic/Legendary Souljades with Attack rolls this weekend, but only really my Stormstride I use at the moment

Yup, found out you wanna buff your Viper when they ult. Lower the attack your Viper has, the weaker their Ultimate

Yeah I ran into one good Temulch at least lol. A little annoying it takes 4 shots with the Bow to take a Tower down, but better than a full clip of Musket slowshot

Honestly practicing on high stakes is the best practice.
Particularly with Kurumi, you can build 70-100% Ult Charge on a single Aegis Break which gives you 16 seconds of worry free damage

I stopped using Mortal Defiance after that Dharma Doom cause the fire pounces would kill you twice

Aegis Break does make you have to go for Defuses more often, but yeah worth it if you can do it.

Tip for Kurumi players out there:
Don't use your ultimate when a boss is down, it makes it not last as long when he's up when that's the point that you really need it. Also it interfere's with Desperation so you're making those teammates deal less damage on a down.

I would recommend using her ult as soon as the boss goes Up from aegis break, so u can basically afk attack for like 30 secs straight. At least thats what i always do

I'm going to have to update my leveling chart, but basically if you did the mission within a certain range you'd get 2-4 Sense levels per run. They're increasing that range so you'll be able to farm an easier mission for longer.

Personally i think we can go for these builds?

1. Full rage build ( especially for kurumi ) pick souljades which have good rage recovery, its rng to get good ones
2. A quick attack + Stormstride sword build ( Seems very OP now, also allows for characters like Viper to use blue moon normal/frostbite and Kurumi to use Stamina strike normal/frostbite.
3. A full dps build like the old builds we used to run with backfyre, outrage, sometimes soul drawing for health regen/ desperation. Seems weak to me now tho compared to the 2nd build because astral aegis doesn't get affected by attack now, maybe still OP.
4. A full Luck build with Blessed souljade for farming

so shouldn't be much of a problem

except the exclusive frostbite jades

for ranged weapons and stuff like Blue moon Frostbite and Abyssal aura frostbite
