#Can't seem to fix this problem on every print

You can also feel it on both sides
Aa, you mean that the surface has ripples?
Yeah
No idea on how to solve that, I would love to get prints that look as good as yours
What speeds are these at
is that the seam?
The same as @half aspen but even when I print slow it shows up
can auto tmc tune cause this issue?
If you rotate the print on the print bed, does the issue persist? (stay in the same spot on the print, or stay at the same clock position on the bed?)
I'm gonna try that
I know it effects the entire print on both side
Sounds like it could be z axis banding?
This?
@half aspen
it looks likea r eflection
I rotated it now I have it here
try it offcenter of build plate?
okay will try that
its only in that spot?
yeah both sides
I had wavy artifacts on my prints after building my printer on the diagonal between the back left and front right corners. Most of those artifacts went away with input shaping, but I still have a slight amount depending on the model - it seems round objects are more prone vs. flat faces. Once I tweaked belt tension (got them to just about 99% the same from the shake tune) and applied the other input shaping data, most of the issues subsided. My results show that I have issues in Y, and they are close to the same spots you are having them - with my results highlighting table movement as an issue. The Varidesk that hosts the printer now tends to get moving with higher printer speeds and accelerations - once I source a better table - I hope to improve the last little bit. Astronaut fresh off my setup - with very faint artifacts. Have you done any IS yet?
I'm gonna try it on the floor
okay input shaping and belt responses are still the same
Does this occur on other prints, or is it more accentuated on this one?
every print
Hmmm. Only other thing I can think of is check out this troubleshooting guide. https://ellis3dp.com/Print-Tuning-Guide/articles/troubleshooting/vfas.html
ugh I give up I cant figure it out
looks like I'm losing some steps can this cause my issues
or maybe its my jerk settings
You lost a few micro steps, that is within margin of error of the endstop
How many micro steps do you have set for x and y steppers?
16
So no full steps lost
Yeah you are talking thousandths of a mm
Ugh it only happens around 135 degrees
its still happends offcenter of the buildplate
I think jerk is ignored with klipper.
Jerk is SCV in klipper
well I have no idea what can cause this issue
is there a seem on the inner wall that differs from the outer wall? can you send me your sliced file @primal acorn
Yeah I'd like to see that as well
I'll give it a print
I even have red filament loaded haha
hmm I wondering if its my frame that causes this issue
or my cpap mount can cause issues maybe its the vibration of it
how did you make out with this issue? I ran my first print, the astronaut, off the other day, and did 0 tuning and turned accel and speeds way up with no IS either, 250mm at 10k i think it was and noticed this same affect. Figured it was from no tuning/calibration and still havent printed anything else. Going to run through the calibrations and see. What extruder?
