I have this loud whining that comes from my XY steppers that has gotten worse recently. i have so far upped my microsteps to 32 with no avaail, and now im getting this timeout which might be related to the microsteps, but the whining persists no matter what. help plz!

Then there’s this odd sound that occurs here and there and it do think it is also affecting print quality. I’m sure it’s something mechanical but I’ve tried all sorts of things to no avail

Yeah the quality is definetely reflecting something is very wrong, it’s definetely something with the movement system and not temperature or flow, as I’ve had beautiful prints before with the same settings as currently

Maybe the rails on the frame are are not running parallel

Rails should be fine as the resistance feels the same as I move the gantry by hand
